£10 for 10. I don't want to "vape", I want to pack the fags in. This seems like a cheap way of sorting it.

I don't fancy a big tank on the end that I have to muck about cleaning out etc.

You are simply trying to wind people up for your own gratification. I don't understand why. Why would someone purposely go out of their way to upset someone? Are you mentaly unstable? If so I could undertand that, but a normal person, not so much.
Sorry this is the weirdest thing I have ever read.

I upset you because I don't want a big tank on the end of a leccy fag? I think you are mentally unstable...

I want a cheap solution, £10 for 20 weeks worth of containers seems just that. So I will make do. No more advice required.
You want a cheap solution and advice, yet take no advice and do what you want anyway? Most people on here have been through what you are doing now and advising what they found so you don't do the same.

No point asking for advice if you don't want to take it anyway.

If you want something hassle free and easy, why go for a tank model rather than one with no tank? why didn't you just stick to the over the counter packs like:

http://www.gamucci.com/electronic-cigarette-starte...

Or just get those that are sold in small corner shops?
Because frankly the kit wasn't a cheap solution, it was £40

£40 for something that I have never tried. £40 is a lot of money. I paid half that and it works fine.
£40 for 160-200 cigs... then £6.99 for 120 after then its very cheap... or you don't need 2 batteries and its £20 and then £6.99 for 120 after that if you are just after a cheap replacement.

You are looking at £20 + £20 for 10 cartimizers, then £8 per 20ml of liquid and you will burn through it very fast with a battery/tank kit as you will vape a lot more. No 2nd battery unlike the other kit.

With the first option its cheap to throw away, etc... 2nd option you will have issues if you forget to charge it, etc... the battery life might only be a few hours depending on use... the latter is the one I would recommend... but as you don't want it for vaping and want to cut corners on cost I wouldn't recommend the latter and recommend the former as you have no 2nd battery, etc..

But I already have the £20 kit now anyway.

And I bought fags this morning.

So I'm glad I didn't buy £40's worth of stuff.

Win Win.

you bought £20 of kit and £10 of cigs, so saved £10 now... but in long term you have saved nothing so not win win... £6.99 for 120 cigs, instead of £10 every time you need a back up as battery ran out.

I bought the most expensive starter kit I could find (£80) and another back up kit (£30) with spares and 2 months of juice, I saved that back in not buying any cigs in less than 3 weeks of not smoking a single cigarette.

Now after 4 months of not smoking I buy the juice, coils and thats about it... juice and coils amount to less than a pack of 20 cigarettes every 9-10 days now.

Win win...

Indeed but had I have wasted a further £20 I would have been another £20 down.

Have fun, I will never darken this threads door again wink

]This is my favourite new thread. Scott, I admire your bewildered persistence.

Cotty, you know when you sit down in the evening with your meal for one but your table laid for 2?
I recommend you don't drink your imaginary friend's drink as well as your own because it appears to make you utterly furious that people don't follow your smoking system orders.
Good job for poor Scott that he wasn't local to you or you would have goose step marched him down to the nearest retailer and screamed at him to buy the one you wanted him to want.

I never realised there could be such thing but this is the e-cigarette equivalent of whaen someone asks what economical small car for the wife in 'General Gassing' and lunatics try to talk him into getting a Subaru Imprezza, but with the added bonus of actual real life internet fury when they don't go on to buy it.

I have been notified that cotty wrote to Vapouriz and has requested that they will not sell any more products unless under his advice.

I wasn't furious that he did not buy the kit, its no skin of my nose whether he bought it or not, he asked for a recommendation and I gave one. I was pissed of by his responses and borderline trolling comments, so yes I snapped, the alcohol didn't help, but it wasn't because he didn't buy my recommendation.

Most decent starter kits are around the £40 mark http://www.ukecigstore.com/e-cigarette-kits/beginn... so its not like I recommended the equivalent a Subaru Imprezza when he asked about a fiesta. I made back that amount in a matter of days from not buying cigs and considering how much he could save its small potatoes.

You did... I bought a kit for something that I have never tried for half the cost. No trolling but I was after cheap.

I'm just after short term cheap. Chill out, have a meal for 3 xx

Hi All

Any advice please, everything tastes burnt!! I've changed the coil the batteries are fine but i can taste burnt smoke!! not all the time but a lot. I bought a new tank on Thursday and that now tastes burnt as I'm guessing the coil would last a bit longer than a weekend?
Are they the older BDC coils (bottom dual coil) or newer BVC coils (bottom vertical coil)

All my BDC coils used to burn after a couple days then get binned, some died after an hours used, and a couple after a few minutes use! Put me right off Aspire......The BVC coils however are miles better and the difference is night & day

Don't worry mate, we have shared a beer previously, you just mis interpreted what I was saying.

Sorry I probably need to knock the alcohol on the head a bit more. I was just trying to save you money by not making the same mistakes I made. The problem is cheap does not work, its frustrates and turns you off the whole thing and wastes your money.

The plastic tank you have is prone to leaking and certain liquids can crack them shortening their lives further. This is a relatively cheap glass tank that will fit your battery http://myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/kanger-mini-prot... if you want to persevere.

There is nothing stopping you smoking and using an e-cig. Some people do it to drop the amount they actually smoke

I'm perfectly happy and thats a win for me rather than being some sad old git sticking up for a vaping nazi on piston heads.

Have a good evening. Back in line soldier wink

See now that's the sort of comment I was getting at. I am assuming you are referring to me with the "vaping Nazi" comment. Isn't that Godwin's law?

Im happy to help and provide guidance to people, but you call me a Nazi for doing so?

not really.. that makes you sad old git who comes on a thread full of people with experience of vaping with your right and your wrong attitude.

If you really want advice then from people on PH who vape, then you did a very good job of alienating them all.

This thread is for people who want to try vaping or have queries about what is the way that should be done after taking into account all the knowledge on here.

You and several others seem to get a kick out of antagonising people who try to help others.

I really don't see why you reply or why you are on this thread when you do that...

To me its strange why people like yourself are asking for advice for no apparent reason other than to get a rise out of people?

Why is that? You want to give up cigs, then fine, you ask a question, fine... you decide to ignore everything people are telling you, then why bother asking? what is the point in someone taking the time to answer your query when you don't care about the answer? Why ask?

I'll go for a PH analogy:

sc0tt: I'm thinking about a new motorbike because my beloved car is costing a fortune. Can anyone help?
Cotty: Buy a Ducati Panigale 1199 R this insant!
sc0tt: Why?
Cotty: Stop winding people up for your own gain you swine!
PH: Buy a Panigale you st! We know best!
The rest of the world:

Well using your analogy you have just shot yourself in the foot. No one is suggesting the equivalent of a Ducati.

The equivalent of a Ducati in the vaping world would be, I don't know maybe a Kato mod knocking in at about £200

Are you trying to start an argument? If so I think you are doing it on a subject you know nothing about.
