Got vapemail today.

Decided to try out a new juice brand. Found them on facebook. http://norsemanvapoursupplies.bigcartel.com/produc... Nice branding and some cool sounding flavours.

I went in for 5 10ml bottles. all 60/40 VG/PG and 4mg nic.
Chilly Cherry (just loaded into the tank will try it in a min)
Afternoon Delight
Enchanted Forest
Tropic Tonic
Sweet Kichee

I'll report back with my findings. Also ordered a load from joosejuice too but they haven't arrived yet as they mix to order.

With regards to your question D_T_W. I agree with Cotty. £100 can buy you a lot of kit, and you can get seduced into buying stuff you don't really need. An Aspire Mini and a carbon fibre twist battery are what I am suggesting to everyone at the moment. £40ish and it will definitely get you going. In fact, I have ordered 3 of that exact set up for 3 different people this week.

I'd like something with a decent tank size so I'm not filling it every two mins.
Thats the trap I fell into when I started. I wanted a big tank and a big battery that would last ages. On the flip side they are heavy, you don't need one massive battery if you have a couple of batteries and its no hassel to top up with juice.

I used my brothers spare one for a short while and mowed my way through the liquid in about 3 hours.
What size was his tank?

Asspire Nautilus mini seems a popular tank that holds 2ml of juice, its larger brother holds 5ml juice but I leave those at home.

Perhaps just get the tank and borrow one of your brothers batteries to try it out.
The tank on his is 1.6ml. That's partly why I would consider getting two, a larger one I use at home and a smaller one I can take with me when I go out. I remember some of the info you gave me last time I asked about it, however I'd rather have decent gear to begin with rather than something cheap that might not work and I'd just throw it away. As I know next to nothing about ecigs or vaping I'm looking for those in the know to impart so knowledge and suggestions for kit that works well, and some of the places to find it

Here's what I ordered this morning for a mate.

One of these in black http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/aspire-cf-1600-mah-... its a 1600mAh battery so you should get well over a days use with it.
One of these http://vapenquit.co.uk/shop/aspire-e-cigs-and-acce... I believe it comes with 2 coils, I'm guessing you'll probably get through coils pretty quick to begin with so http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUINE-ASPIRE-NAUTI... he comes recommended on UKVapers.

Those are all the best prices for those items that I have been able to find. You will also need to buy a charger as the battery doesn't come with one. http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/vision-usb-charger-...

You could then get a http://vapenquit.co.uk/shop/aspire-e-cigs-and-acce... for at home... this the big brother of the one above and holds 5ml instead of the 2 in that one. Both take the same type of the coils. The bvc (bottom vertical coils) are new and compatible with both devices. They're also fking brilliant.

Ummm... I think that's about it, all you need now is juice. Any idea what sort of thing you might like?

So what about batteries? That's the bit that confuses the hell out of me!

Would that fit both the larger and smaller heads though?

Can I also add, than you both for the suggestions!

Both tanks will fit on it yes, the larger may look a little unwieldily, but if you're only using at home who cares right.

Any ideas on juices? Happy to recommend some.

To explain, the connection on the battery will take both 510 and ego type connections, the nautilus tanks use the 510 connection

None at all at the moment, from what I've read VG would probably suit me better but I'm open to ideas. I'm quite a heavy smoker so something that will take the edge off the cravings, I'd like a reasonable amount of vapour as well.

Any idea on flavours? Sweet, fruity, bakey, tabacco, there's plenty on offer.

Vapour's a bit pointless if you want a hit... I'd go for PG if you want to taste it and replicate the feeling of smoking without the fags smile

It will fit both the tanks as they both have the came connections. but the slightly smaller battery looks better
To be honest you might as well just go for the kit
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aspire-Premium-Variable-Vo...

You can probably find the kit a bit cheaper on Ebay

I think a few starter kits might be a good idea so I can try different types and see what works?

Any Naturevape pros here?
I'm really disappointed! I've got an Aerotank Mega on a Nemisis clone using Dekang menthol juice.

I've only read good things about the Naturevape coils so took the plunge, they arrived today.

Every other draw I'm getting a horrible dry burnt hit. And even the decent hits I'm getting are only on a par with the Kanger dual coil upgrade coils.

I'm gutted, I've literally never read a single bad thing about the Naturevape coils, and how they produce clouds of tasty vapeness!

Where am I going wrong?

First thing you should do is change the cotton wool wick, if it's burnt it's not going to get unburnt.

Soak the new wick with some juice before you but it back in your tank.

Alternatively get on of Naturevapes own tanks.

Ok. Due to ecig warehouse being muppets (and with a little bit of personal muppetry), I have vastly more batteries than I need. So I have 4x 18650 batteries going; is anyone interested in them at cost price? That's 13.99 per pair.

So, I've rewicked the DCD NV cool and its working a treat!

And to add to my joy, my Vape Munki Chilled Monkey Slime arrived this morning. It's bloody lovely! If you like citrus with a menthol kick it's fabulous. I'll be getting through a tank or two of that today smile

As an aside, regarding the nautilus with the air holes, a simple pleasure I get from using it is that if you blow back into the device, you get a squirt of vapour from the air hole. I have noticed that the second largest hole gives the best and most defined jet.

Crap I ordered the wrong coils. I got the Aspire BVC coils instead of the Aspire Nautilus BVC Coils. Maybe something to watch out for as they are not the same. Make sure you order the Nautilus versions if you have the Nautilus tank.

Thanks mate I think I'll get one. Looks much easier when you've got a load of kit to clean! Collections growing again smile
I was surprised at how much these clean. I washed the tanks under a top tap, thought they looked clean. Put them in the sonic cleaner and was surprised at the colour of the water after.
This looks like the one I bought but cheaper
