As an aside, regarding the nautilus with the air holes, a simple pleasure I get from using it is that if you blow back into the device, you get a squirt of vapour from the air hole. I have noticed that the second largest hole gives the best and most defined jet.
hehe So I'm not the only one.
Kanger Aerotanks do this too smile The misses doesn't find it as amusing as I do.

Crap I ordered the wrong coils. I got the Aspire BVC coils instead of the Aspire Nautilus BVC Coils. Maybe something to watch out for as they are not the same. Make sure you order the Nautilus versions if you have the Nautilus tank.

I've been meaning to try the bvc coils in my billet box, so would be happy to take them off your hands at rrp?

Naturevape lovers!

As we all know their coils are great but they are pricey at £5.99 and £6.99 each.

Well, Virtual Vape are now doing the exact same coils for £3.99 each.

Check them out:

I was only reading about them on UKv the other day. I have about 4 NV coils left to get through (I'm still on the same one from February). So don't need to get any more for a while. I will be pointing people there though.

I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for this thread, especially to all the regular posters.

It has proved absolutely invaluable to me in acquiring the basics about vaping, and in helping to navigate the thickets of jargon that confront anyone new to the topic.

I am currently puffing away happily with my Aspire Premium Starter Kit; I haven't had a cigarette for 3 days, and haven't missed them.

For anyone looking to start, I would have no hesitation in endorsing the recommendations here of the Aspire Premium Starter Kit with the Nautilus Mini clearomiser. It's a very nicely-made, easy to assemble and use, and works beautifully. I also bought a Kanger Twist starter kit, which uses T2 clearomisers, and for my money, the Nautilus Mini is in a different league in terms of the flavours produced.

Now to find a few e-liquids to explore. I'm currently trying 'The King' from King's Crown (made by the maker of Suicide Bunny e-liquids, if that means anything), which is superb; Mrs Lord & Co.'s Kendal Mint Cake, which is very pleasant, but not wowing me; the same maker's Ginger Nut, which is delicious, but not quite as good as The King; and 'Bounty Hunter' from Wingnuts, which is a sort of chocolate and coconut flavour, but a bit one-dimensional compared to the others.

I would be interested in trying something fruity as an alternative to the above; not lemony, but maybe apple-flavoured, or something with peach or something more tropical in it. Any recommendations for me to try?

Thanks again,

Mark

Best apple flavour I have found it The Gurner from Vapemunki http://www.vapemunki.co.uk/Gourmet_Range/cat226868...

They also do a peach but it has menthol in it and 3XT appears to be a tropical flavour

Thanks very much, Cotty, I'll give those a shot.

Seem to be having an issue with my nautilus mini. Sometimes when i press the button or inhale it, the liquid comes through. It all seems tight and i didn't get any liquid in the chamber bit when filling.

Any ideas?

Not heard much mention of this on the thread from memory but does anyone make up their own EJ?

A friend of mine has started using this as the base liquid and then adding his own flavours.

At £6 for 100ml of the stuff it looks ridiculous value and the flavours are £2-3 for 10ml. Apparently most only need to be mixed at 10% so that's <£10 for 100ml of juice...

Sounds like its flooding. I had one earlier that was gurgling, when I took it apart the coil was not fully screwed in, sometime they work loose/unscrew. Perhaps see if its it fully seated.

Do you mean it spits? I have found that sometimes. Usually after not using one for a few hours, you press the button and you get a shot of hot juice in your mouth. I have taken to press the button a few seconds before using it, you hear a pop and sometimes see something come out the mouthpiece, after that its fine.

In addition to what Cotty said, over time some of the vapour condenses inside the drip tip (or mouthpiece).

I periodically stick some kitchen paper down there to keep it clean.

Non smoker with a daft question here. Are there any e-cigs out there that are styled to look like old fashioned pipes? Tried an e-cig the other day and like the idea of having one filled with some kind of shisha type flavour without nicotine.

It seems that most e-vaping equipment can be mixed and matched. That is, a nautilus tank that we've been talking about above, will screw quite happily into the battery, be it in the shape of a metal cylinder or a pipe bowl. So you will have the traditional 'shape' to hold (merely just a battery holder, really) with the 'business' end in the stem of the pipe that does the actual vaping. Not sure if that helps you or not…

See also my post above about 0% liquids (which is what you need to look for) that someone kindly posted links.

Pipes you ask... http://limelightmechanics.com/ website appears to be down at the moment, but these have been the nicest pipe type devices that I have come across.

Yep they are called E pipes, here are a few
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kamry-K1000-Pipe-Different...
The best think to do is stick the name and/or model into Youtube and watch some review to see what people think of them.

Personally I have a two of the Kamry K1000 model. and just found out they do a camo version bringing a whole new meaning to stealth vaping hehe

Cheers for the info chaps. Had a look at the Limelight facebook page, some real attention to detail and what looks like a high quality product. I'm assuming they have a price tag to match too.

I believe you are right yes. Pretty sure I have actually seen them for sale somewhere else recently. Will try and dig something up.

Edit:

There's been a few for sale in the classifieds on UKv
http://ukvapers.org/Thread-Complete-Limelight-Purp...

Vapist had some but appear to be out of stock: http://www.vapist.net/EPipes_by_Limelight/cat20686...

I did exactly the same. I now have 10x BVC non-Nautilus coils.
Anybody have any experience of which clearomizers they would work best in on a Provari mini?

Very impressed with the Nautilus now I have the correct BVC Nautilus coils, but thinking of picking up another clearo which can use the non-naut BVC coils.
