From your experience is it a better product? I tried Smoko but didn't get on with it.
You can't really go wrong with Aspire kit especially with these new BVC coils. I haven't got the K1 but do have the Nautilus Mini which is basically the next size up with adjustable airflow control. For 30 quid that's a pretty decent package as it's got a nice tank, good battery and a pack of 5 spare coils so should last you over a month before needing any new coils
Best bet is take a look on YouTube for some reviews on the k1, sounds like a very good starter tank or nice step up from the ce4/ce5 junk

I bought a K1 a few weeks ago and am using nothing else now, the Stingray mod/Nautilus is relegated to the shelf (sick of the size and bottom fire button). Great clearo and only 1 coil change so far. I do take an extra juice to top it up while out and about though as it/I go through it.
Not tried a Nautilus mini.

How long do you reckon a clearomisers should last?
I use iClear 16s; I reckon they're shot after about 2 weeks (nasty burnt taste). Is this typical?
Im surprised you get two weeks out of them. But use them until they pack up. Some people are getting weeks from a coil I find I swap them out after seven days. At £2 a coil plus some juice im happy at £10 a week vaping. I use iClear 16s; I reckon they're shot after about 2 weeks (nasty burnt taste). Is this typical?

I got my K1 on Saturday morning, filled it and vaped 5ml though it at the weekend with no issues. oviously you need to keep topping it up as it only holds 1.5ml of juice
Tried these and thought the draw was too tight, could have been a crap coil I guess but wasn't overly impressedScooby84 said:
Any recommendations for Bubblegum and Candyfloss flavour juices?
I buy off the highstreet as it is easier for me. So I end up giving the likes of VIP and Totally wicked my money, or the dog piss 4 for £10 bottles from the dodgy market dealer.
Pheonix Eliquids do a killer Bubblegum flavour, I'm on about my 4th bottle now.I buy off the highstreet as it is easier for me. So I end up giving the likes of VIP and Totally wicked my money, or the dog piss 4 for £10 bottles from the dodgy market dealer.
I also tried there Jelly Spogs flavour this week and it's my new favourite, it tastes like the blue and pink things you get in a pack of liquorice all sorts.
Pheonix are franchises and are starting to pop up on High Streets now.

What is the clearomiser and how often should these be replaced? Just about got my head around the need to change a coil every few weeks or so to keep the thing turning the liquid into vapour (at least I think thats the coil!!).
Steep learning curve all this.
The clearomiser is the replaceable coil/head inside a tank to hold the juice.Steep learning curve all this.
If you're replacing coils when vapour/flavour drops off then you're doing it right.
I seem to be light on coils (or just not very fussy!) mine last about a month. Typically will have only had one type of juice through it in that time though.
Question for those using bvc heads - I use bdc heads in my Billet Box using a Billet Bridge - what version of bvc heads will I need? Regular or Nautilus?

The clearomiser is the glass or plastic and metal bit that contains the liquid and coil, sometimes referred to as the tank. These are all clearomisers

So today I have tried out a new juice company - Redjuice.co.uk - Don't know if anyone has used them, but stock a great range of juice at good prices - I have gone for 10ml of Dr. Stanleys Snake Oil (£6.95) and 10ml of Leprechaun Blood By Accies (£4.95) to try them with - both juices are also new to me but I love anise/menthol/eucalyptus type juice (Red Astaire is by far my favourite of these) so thought I would have a punt on something different!
Will feedback on service and juice if anyone is interested...

I realised that the juice needed replenishing (obviously) and then understood that the coils did too, but now the tank bit needs changing quite regularly too?

So is that the K1 piece of that beginners kit you posted the link to at the weekend? (I bought one of those by the way so thanks for the heads up)

You might find all in one clearomisers around that are disposable but they are rare these days. These days most of the tanks/clearomisers come apart for cleaning, filling and replacing the coils. Edited by Cotty on Tuesday 21st October 15:23
