If you get eleaf stick you will need to get the following:

http://innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/p...
£34.99

Some type of tank (I prefer the kanger aerotank or the Aspire Nautilus mini):

Aspire:
http://innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/p...
£19.99
Spare coils:
http://innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/p...
£10 (get at least 5)

Kanger:
http://innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/p...
£18.99
Spare Coils:
http://innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/p...
£10 (get at least 5)

(looks like it would need to be aspire as kanger is out of stock)

Then choose some juice, this is personal opinion, but if you like a throat hit choose one with a higher PG value, if you want vapour choose a higher VG rating.

I usual go for 70VG/30PG and its fine.

If you are a medium smoker (15-20 a day) look at 11mg nicotine level to start.

Choose a few random flavours you want to try or stick with baccy flavour its your choice, depending on use the 10ml will last a few days (2ml is usually 1-2 days use)... but that is dependant on how much you will vape it now.

Then use the voucher code UKV10 for 10% off everything, but that runs out today.

The above will give you a superb first kit that you will learn from and won't need to upgrade from blucig or a start kit when you find out that it needs more power... etc.

Im sure others can back me up with the above choices.
Yup... what he said!

Or if you are like me and struggling with all the terminology and how it all fits together etc, just buy this that Cotty linked to not long ago

http://www.ukecigstore.com/aspire-starter-kit.html

All you need then is a liquid to stick in it. I was up and running within 5 mins of it turning up.

Only issue with that one is that in my list I swapped out the CFVV with the eleaf for one reason only... battery life. Meaning you have 1-2 days battery life instead of a few hours then no peace pipe to vape off whilst it recharges.

With the eleaf you can use it as it charges.

I get it now smile

so the istick is like a 2 litre low compression engine and the tank atomiser is like a garrett gt28 turbo.

should give enough grunt to keep me happy without breaking the bank.
Kinda.

More like the ileaf is a high octane race fuel (that gives great economy as well as power) and the mini Nautilus tank is the tuned engine that can take advantage...

Initially that looks expensive, but it's only about a week of smoking, and you won't need anything else for a long while.

That is not the same kit we have, that's the smaller 900mah non variable voltage battery with the K1 on top. Still a good kit, I use the K1 on my eleaf.

missed the bit with no nautilus was just going on the smaller battery so less life. I went straight to nautilus and aerotank on my eleaf, its very good bit of kit.

I believe in the first stages of moving across from cigs, I think it best to have the largest battery possible, so its not so much of a hassle when the newbie forgets to charge the battery and has no hit for a few hours.

Even better when they can use it whilst charging so there is no chance that they can have an excuse unless 'accidentally' running out of juice.

Every battery is going to run out at some point, whether it is day on or day three. Its just a case of getting into the habit of making sure your battery is charged or carrying a spare. I do like the battery indicator on the eleaf its the first battery I have that has that function.

That's the other thing making sure you have juice. If you run out its not like popping out to the shops unless you have a vape shop local. Most are mail order and take days to arrive. I probably have about 200ml of juice spread between favorites, new stuff to try and stuff ill vape that isn't great but can't bring myself to chuck out.

Just got some peach, watermelon and rhubarb. The rhubarb is a reorder, lovely stuff.

I've noticed recently that even our local petrol stations are now stocking e-juice. Maybe not the best selection of flavours but enough to get by until the postman turns up.

coils will last 2 or so weeks at a push, so getting a supply would be advisable.

juice is your choice of the supplier, would recommend getting samples rather than paying £10 for something that you might not like.

You should have no problems giving up the smokes with that choice of kit - I think you've bought the best available, reliable, sturdy kit there.
No need to wish you luck as you will stop smoking - look forward to your sense of smell returning smile

Just got my iStick and had a few puffs on it. OMG wow. Can taste my juice (Sky Wizard) so much more! It's fantastic. With my Mini Nautilus on it's only slightly longer than the Aspire CF 1600 battery alone!

Ordered it with a Mini Nautilus from myepack.com and it came with a USB cable and wall adapter, so throw in a bottle of juice too and you'd have everything you need for the first few weeks.

I'm off to a new shop pretty local to me tomorrow to take y first foray into e-fags. Been smoking for years and want to use one to help give up without all the shouty bits involved in nicotine withdrawal! But, I've no idea what to look for really.

Budget of about £50, although could go a bit more if it's the right thing. I'm not overly fussed about flavoured juice as I also smoke a shisha pipe (molasses, not baccy!) so get my flavours through that, but I guess I will probably have a crack at a few, just for kicks. I think I just want something that has decent battery life, won't cost a fortune to run and I can pump up the 'throat hit' if I'm struggling without the fags.

I've no idea what the shop stocks, but in your expert opinions, is there anything specific I should be asking for? I guess they'll be used to starters in the shop, but it'd be handy to get a bit of a plan before I go!

ETA - I guess I should read the thread first! Seems to be a pretty common question asked on here, so I'll go back and have a look through!

Question for the eleaf guys who've bought from myepack.

Have they gone into restocking here or have you had a delivery email? They seem to be selling out very quick these things! I checked yesterday and they were fully stocked, checked this morning and all gone except red frown

My pack works out cheaper if you need the full kit with the ego adapter, cable & charger btw.

Also the red ones....are they more of a pink as I'm thinking of getting the missis one for Christmas smile

I think I may have bought their last silver one on Wednesday morning, at the time only black was sold out. Fairly sure the red colour of the iStick is actually fuscia.

I would ring them up to verify if they have the one you want... I would like a silver but could not be bothered to wait and got a black one...

To be honest who cares what colour it is, its a great bit of kit and if neon yellow was the only one they had, I would get it after what I know now... seriously.
