What did you order off Vapemunki?
Just been checking out the vapemunki range and their juices sound good. Like the sound of Northern Lights and spider venom.

Got a delivery from genrals juices today also which came with a nice hand written thank you letter!

Their custard is out of this world! I've tried a few vanilla custards, including the gremlin and theirs is the best. So sweet and tasty and not too gloopy either so it vapes really well.

also ordered the sampler pack for £9.50 which has 6 of their flavours in 5ml quantities. Not sure if it was a mistake, but half the bottles I got were 10ml. The lime one smells incredible, can't wait to give it a go later

Has anybody got any experience of Digby juices delivery times? I ordered 4 x 10ml on Wednesday of last week and it's still not arrived. Have emailed them with no response, just wondering if anybody else had to wait this long? As a comparison, I ordered 3 x 100ml of juice off Vapemunki and it arrived in the post after 2 days!
I received my delivery from them on Monday, ordered on Friday. I've bought from them a few times and never had any issues.
Have now tried phoning them several times and no response. So much for the quality service they tout on their website!

First time I ordered a mixed batch, think it was Blue Baboon, Black N Blue, Spider Venom, Mr Blue Sky and Purple Rain. Next time round I just ordered 50ml of Spider Venom and 10ml of The Gurner. All good flavours but I just stuck with Spider Venom (cinnamon) and The Gurner (apple) but both rather lost their flavour after a week or so. Fancied the Digby's stuff for a change but getting nowhere with any info as yet

It's possible yes.

Some coils do short.

It's start by washing it out and switch the coil. If it still tastes odd then I'd point at juice.
Cheers bud. Have had 2 juices in there and both taste mingin, so I'll have to do that.

Could the ohm rating have led to that? Just thinking that I'd need to buy replacements so don't wanna just get the same if it'll only happen again!
Just tried the second coil in there. Exactly the same within 10 minutes! Just written a little email off to Kanger to see if there's a faulty batch of coils or something.

I've just poured the juice back in to my Evod I and it tastes fine, so it's definitely the new tank. Bugger, I was well excited about that frown

Any Vapourshark DNA30 users here? How do you find it & would it be worth waiting for the DNA40 to come out or just get the 30?

Also! Istick has been cloned on Fasttech (wouldn't surprise me if it's exactly the same thing but rebranded wink
16 quid!!!

My Istick goes up to 20watts - if you do this everything tastes burnt or the vapour is too hot - how do you utilize this feature? (nevermind the 100w devices)
Also it wont fire sub-ohm coils.
It works fine for the 1.5ohm Iclear 30s top end, but, just why?

Basic answer is the istick's waaaay out with the actual wattage. All depends what ohm coils fitted and they're all out by a few watts. P.Bussaro's you tube vid explains better!

I've just killed another coil turning the power up a tad more trying to get the sweet spot frown (running low on coils here!!)

It won't sub ohm but will go down to 1ohm so more than enough for the nautilus/kanger/NV type tanks that most guys use as these are usually 1.5ohms and above. From what I've read it's better with higher ohm coils at higher wattage but can't try this till I get home. I've built a dripper to 1ohms just to see how it is, was ok but battery life was greatly reduced and no where as good as a mech mod.

If you want to sub ohm? Your better off getting a mech mod (clones are cheap on Fasttech) or a better regulated mod as a lot can sub ohm now. Then an RTA or dripper and build your own coils wink

I've got some sub ohm coils for my Aerotank mega and to be honest.....they're ste! They're just not getting the airflow to cool the coil.

So! If you want to sub ohm....you'll need the right kit (take a look on Fasttech for some clones as they're very cheap...20 quid should get you a dripper plus the mod, then you'll need batteries...good ones like Efest purple 35A or Sony VTC5 etc & get these from a reputable uk vendor, plus a decent battery charger.

I am more than happy with the service and the Granted It's Custard is lovely - Just Astaire is close enough to Red to make it worth it at the price!... I went into there shop in Bridlington the other day, but it simply a juice outlet in a newsagents, most of their business will come through the website...

Interesting, something odd happened last night that may well be related. I have a protank II. It had been sitting in a cupboard with juice in for a few weeks unused. Go it out last night for my tasting session, and thought better give it a bit of a soak before filling it up. So stuck it in a bowl of warm water with some fairy liquid whilst I was rewicking my coils. When I went to remove it, I noticed that there was a weird substance all over the bottom of the tank section part. Thought it might have been soap so started to wash it off but it needed properly scrubbing to get it off. There is now a copperey sort of hue to that part. I've not noticed any taste difference (filled it with Granted it's custard). May be related though?

Can you put the coil in your evod and try it?

Don't know, never used one, but I am 90% sure I am going to be buying one shortly. For the price it seems to win.

My Evod is the older single coil so I think it's a different size. Will check that out tonight.

I've had a response from Kanger though, they've said that there's a small seal between the tank and the wick that can warp so it might be the liquid not getting through. I was getting vapour out of it, but it seemed like only the same/maybe slightly more than the single coil, so maybe that is a problem?

No idea what yours might be though? Maybe a bit of surface rust creeped in from somewhere?

I've been looking at a few different ones last night, I think I'll hold off for the DNA40 though and see how much it is in the jan sales smile that temperature control looks a good idea, no more burnt wicks! plus there's the extra 10 watts available but I need to look into it more, I think the temp control only works with nickel wire and at mega low ohms? So no real benefit if i was just using the naut/Kanger tanks? Handy for my drippers though!

Probably wrong there so need to read up on the 40 chip a bit more!

What have you currently got & what are you looking to get/achieve? The isticks more for guys with small aspire/kanger type tanks to use out and about, ive tried it at 1ohms but found it got pretty hot plus battery life suffered. Seems to work better around 1.5-1.8ohms but again the wattage is out so ive no real idea what it's putting out frown (my only gripe.....Appart from that it's been excellent)

For sub ohming unless you get the new Atlantis or kanger sub tank with the sub ohm coils the only other ways either a dripper or RBA and rebuild your own (pretty easy though on something like a Magma)

That aspire cf sub ohm's been getting good reviews though, I'll be getting one for work. Nice to have a drip now and again smile

Can anyone offer any advise?

I started off on an itaste v3 and after a couple of months bought the aspire mini kit with the nautilus tank due to the itaste seemingly having an issue with the centre pin and I am more than happy with the Aspire which seems great in every way.

The trouble is I only vape in the evening and it seems both struggle with a 'cold start' and give harsh and unrewarding vapes for a while before coming on song. I bet if used more often they would be 'smoother' - could the coils be getting flooded? is there a way of avoiding this or at least nullifying the effect?

I've got the eleaf with an iclear 30s on top, running at between 7w & 8.5w & 1.5-1.8 ohms depending on my mood, and it works fine for all my needs.
The engineer side of me wants to use the 20w available, but I don't see how I can, when it wont utilise sub-ohm coils... therefore what do I stick on top to wind it all the way up?

Gotcha smile

To hit 20w you need to have something with a lower ohm coil fitted, I've build my dripper to 1.2ohms and this is getting me the 20w but I'm still burning the wicks here so find it better around 10-12w bearing in mind that displayed wattage is still off by a few watts. Tank wise ive no idea about the iclear30 and if you can rebuild the coils or get lower ohm coils for it? You can get small RTA's like the Taifun GS or Kayfun Mini and rebuild these to lower ohm's but I've found the two ive got are a faff and a pain to build, plus I tend to get lots of dry hits on these so can't recommend them.

Isticks better explained here mate:

http://youtu.be/_W1G7p_fCJw

Here's a couple screen shots showing what the actual voltage is with different ohm coils fitted, plus the minimum & maximum watts you'll get with different coils.

Basically you need a lower ohm coil to get higher wattage and a higher ohm coil to get lower wattage, on some juices like Manabush the recommend to vape around 7-8w, but with my current coil fitted the lowest I can go is 7w and as the isticks still overpowering here probably by a couple watts I'm getting a bad taste compared to when I had it in a different tank and could bring the power right down to say 5/6w which was really more like 8.

Hope that hasn't confused you mate! I got rambling again!
