Bloody hell, wire is thin! I've just received an Igo-W, 32g Kanthal and a cheap version coiling jig (more like a rod). First step into RDAs, will have to see how it goes.
Erm, some help please? So as I said, I've got an IGO-W Plus & MVP 2.0 whilst I wait on some goodies from Fasttech. Built a four wrap coil with 32AWG Kanthal but my MVP is reading various ohms. The ohms decline if I fire up the MVP but they can go from 7-8ohms standing, down to 2.2 after firing for a few seconds. Any ideas?crostonian said:
Personally I think ecigs should be banned unless they smell of tobacco. Why a grown man wants to smoke something that smells of toasted toffee or burnt peach is beyond me. Not right, the sooner they are banned or taxed to the hilt the better!
Wrong thread, this one is to discuss kit, juice etc kind of a tips and tricks thread. You need this one if you wish to discuss the pros and cons of vaping (its not smoking) http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...crostonian said:

If it smells burnt, you're doing it wrong.HarryW said:
My bundle from the LSC arrived today, looks and smells good. Just prepped a clean tank with new coil for some of their Ee bah humbug, I'll report back....
Any feedback? I put Apple Bobbin in a mini Nautilus and the flavour is a bit muted compared with the dripper. Im still getting the apples, spices and rum but not as strong a flavour. Which to be honest is fine with me. I do like the way they send their juice, blue or green glass bottles with separate drippers.

Which DNA40 mod have you gone for? Pictures please!
Assume you're using non resistance coils in the Aspire mini? If so, what temps are you running, and how do you find the vape?
Really keen to get a 'real life' review of how this new tech works - I'll go for it anyway due to the possible risk mitigation, but interested to see how excited/willing to spend dosh I should be!
Gti - let us know how you find the Snake Oil, if you really don't like it I'll gladly take it off your hands...
Vaporshark rDNA40. Not using thr nickel coils yet but the vape is worlds ahead of what I've tried to date - I'm still playing around with wattages but seem to choose the 10-12w range.Assume you're using non resistance coils in the Aspire mini? Another fan/vote for Snake Oil.
Hey all, a slight deviance from our normal conversations in here. Does anyone know someone that owns a bricks & mortar e-cigarette shop? I work for an insurance broker and I really want to be able to offer product (as I have an interest away from work) but our markets are shunning e-cigs completely.
Would anyone be able to ask on my behalf who they may be insured through? Ideally the Insurer rather than just the broker if possible.
Thanks in advance.
P.s. - figured out my IGO-W had a short. Dripping is fantastic and quite easy, also find the coil building process quite relaxing when it goes right!

Handy little coiling jigs turned up today. They're clone (copy) Kuro Koilers
20/25/30 gauge so handy for different size coils

Really handy and these clones from FT are MILES cheaper than the genuine ones!!!

I went for the BoomBoom revolver instead of the Kuro coiler Dave; showed up today and I cant fault it. Does the same job but with less parts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ST1TEV_r08
Also got some Cotton Bacon in today, and some decent 26awg Kanthal; all three utilised to coil and wick my Lemo drop - no more popping/cracking that the wire supplied with the Lemo was causing, and the flavour through the Cotton Bacon is fantastic (I generally can't taste most juices and also have the onset of a cold)
Got some Digby's DMC 80% in today and with all of the above used it's magic

What causes the gurgling and popping then? I'm getting some with my Kanger Genitank Mini - I just assumed it was normal! The noise I was getting was like a whip cracking! Watched a review of my my tank and pbusardo said it was due to not having enough cotton in the wick;so I made a new coil and rewicked with the new cotton I got yesterday and problem solved. All manufacturers coils crackle as that is the liquid vaporising, any gurgling then I just pull the coil out and blow through it on to kitchen roll, dry the base where the coil screws in/510 on device (depending on tank style) and put it back together. If it starts gurgling again I bin the coil and fit a new one.
