The noise I was getting was like a whip cracking! Watched a review of my my tank and pbusardo said it was due to not having enough cotton in the wick;so I made a new coil and rewicked with the new cotton I got yesterday and problem solved.
All manufacturers coils crackle as that is the liquid vaporising, any gurgling then I just pull the coil out and blow through it on to kitchen roll, dry the base where the coil screws in/510 on device (depending on tank style) and put it back together. If it starts gurgling again I bin the coil and fit a new one.
Ah ok. I won't worry about the crackling then. I went for the BoomBoom revolver instead of the Kuro coiler Dave; showed up today and I cant fault it. Does the same job but with less parts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ST1TEV_r08
Also got some Cotton Bacon in today, and some decent 26awg Kanthal; all three utilised to coil and wick my Lemo drop - no more popping/cracking that the wire supplied with the Lemo was causing, and the flavour through the Cotton Bacon is fantastic (I generally can't taste most juices and also have the onset of a cold)
Got some Digby's DMC 80% in today and with all of the above used it's magic
Also got this one for my work kit mate Also got some Cotton Bacon in today, and some decent 26awg Kanthal; all three utilised to coil and wick my Lemo drop - no more popping/cracking that the wire supplied with the Lemo was causing, and the flavour through the Cotton Bacon is fantastic (I generally can't taste most juices and also have the onset of a cold)

I've been looking at the Cotton Bacon, seems expensive but might give it a shot when my muji cotton runs out.
Digby's Custard is lovely isn't it Drakes Vanilla Trifecta is also well worth it. Probably the nicest VC ive had.

PM me your address and I'll send you a 'slice' of bacon to try; it's a fiver for 10 slices and a couple of quid postage, but goes a long way and will last me ages.
Going to order supplies to start making my own juice tomorrow, I'm spending way too much at Digby's.
These Kuro coiler tools are excellent!!!! Took a couple attempts as I applied presure and it messed the coils up with the wire overlapping, just need to turn it without any pressure and you get 100% perfect coils everytime! Even with thick 0.5mm wire.
100% recommended, really impressed

I need some advice.
I have a Nautilus mini with an CF VV+ battery.
Without fail, it always spits out the juice. Sometimes I can get away with a day of it not happening but no more than that. Everything is fully tightened/cleaned etc.
I'm also wanting to step it up a bit in terms of performance/vape and battery life. Whats a good setup? Don't really want to make my own coils just a pour the liquid in and vape!
Thanks

When you take the coil out, there's a small rubber o-ring by the thread that creates a seal between it and the tank. I replaced my coil and it started spitting, so took it apart and found this was a little wonky - prodded it with a cocktail stick and it's been fine. Maybe worth having a look?I have a Nautilus mini with an CF VV+ battery.

The nautilus mini is still the best small tank at the moment (imo anyway!!) ive got the same set up as you with the 1600mah cf VV battery which is my back up battery. Tbh there's much better available, try the Istick 20w yiull notice a big difference between the two just remember to keep the watts down as it'll burn the coils. I find 7.5w max works for me but usually keep it around 6.5.I have a Nautilus mini with an CF VV+ battery.

Also pretty impressed with the mini Istick, but battery life is poor, maybe 2-3 hours max use out of mine but I only use it when charging the other Istick, even the mini Istick wipes the floor with the aspire cf VV performance wise, so it's another to consider

I will have a look when I next change it. It's been like that since I bought it. It's the only thing that I dont like about it.rich12 said:

I've got two minis and a full size Nautilus, rarely do they spit, but they only ever see 50/50 juice; try unscrewing the coil from the base and dab some kitchen roll in, they often get a wee bit of juice in there and that might cause it to spit if it's interupting the vvoltage flow? Also try what Jonboy_t says as well as removing the coil and giving it a blow through on to tissue. I have a Nautilus mini with an CF VV+ battery.

I'd go slightly further than Griffin Dai suggests and go for a 30w istick, better built and more power should you decide to get a better tank; only a couple of quid dearer than the 20w. Or the Sigelei 30w, however you'll need to budget for a battery for that (£7ish for a decent high drain Samsung, LG, purple efest)
Just a quick heads up on these cables for eleaf users etc Got myself one last time at the same price..
Nice and long for pass thru and can't really lose them in the colours available.
