Got my Magma clone today, first RDA I got so was looking forward to trying it out.
Its a dual coil build and came at 0.6 ohms, very good hit.

The are good smile

It's the only dripper I use now, I find it better single coil around 1-1.3omhs though, nice flavour. Tried sub ohming with the drippers but can't get on with it frown

Not tried the single coil as yet as had to wick like this guy no matter what,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIyOSLqfrEI
Yes very nice vape on it and when it runs out you can tell instantly, air hole is a pain to change once its screwed down as have to unlosen the top to change settings but its a little thing.
Have to buy a new Battery as the istick is getting a proper workout screwing and unscrewing non stop.

Looks a good build that! I'll try it tomorrow. That's my only gripe with it really...it does leak pretty bad no matter how i wick it. I'll give this a go smile

Have you tried Cotton Bacon yet? Very good stuff but also worth trying the Fibre Freaks stuff (although doesn't last very long)

No have not tried them, am using some japanes cotton pads I got from ebay a while back but today ordered some cheap organic cotton balls, see how they go.
Not getting any leakages at all on the build, only copied the wick build from that video as he was using that funny wrapped wire.
I used 28 awg on a 3mm drill with 5 full wraps. (edited cos counted them on pic)
Measured first coil and came at 1.6 ohms, found it was a bit of a pain to build as both ends of coil going same way so the coils get out of shape pretty easily even though I heated them before putting them in.
If it does leak that will be the end of it and end up as decoration on the shelve, keeping fingers crossed.

They all leak in the end mate. I've got a box full of different tanks & attys here and every single ones leaked one time or other frown

Either through the 510 screw (solid pinned ones have been ok though) or 99% time through the air hole. I think the worst is my Taifun GT 2.....pisses out the air hole but it's a clone so maybe genuine ones are better (£££ though)

Just edited, as just counted wraps and its 5 not 6, hehe really should keep a note as when I next build its always guesswork.
Hate leakages especially since my brother killed a 3 week old istick with leaking.
Have 2 kayfun clones a 2.1 and a 3.1 and both at first leaked like hell however they seemed to settle down now, my filling technique has got better but I am sure they seem to bed in after a few uses.

I've tried Ruthless Fuzzy Peach - decent, but expensive. I've read favourable reviews of the Penguin stuff, but again, it's pricy.

Dentist felt the need to warn me about sugary juices today, saying one of her patients had unusual decay behind his front teeth - not convinced, personally.
I was at the dentist for a check-up yesterday and he was *amazed* at how much better my gums and teeth are since I switched to vaping from the dreaded cigs.

I mainly vape sweet/fruity flavours.

YMMV though.

Actually just worked it out at 28 awg target 1.4 ohm and 3mm coil is 6.39 wraps, yes makes total sense.
Last time I used it something went wrong, not sure what I done but I totally cocked it up.
Yes my dentist always giving me a hard time, mine is worse than my doctor.

Whats the weight like? I was watching a review the guy doing it kept banging on about how light it was as its made of carbon fibre. Though it might be more suit freindly that the istick.
Sooo much lighter than the equivalent iStick! With the Nautilus mini on it the balance point is just under the firing button which makes it quite nice to hold and the overall weight doesn't feel more more than my friends' larger eGo batteries like the vision spinner - this may be because it's shorter & stockier though

Popped in a vape shop in Sunderland this morning and this bloke https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXt40u6MabUx4Aqvu... known as Brad Vapes was there. He was over the moon when I said I recognised him from the vid reviews, nice chap.

Bit lost regarding 18650 batteries, which one (protected is not ideal as far as can tell in variable mods) should I get for a 50w variable mod ?

I use Samsung 25r's - Pure Mist are selling them 2 for £9.99 delivered, and they are capable of 22 amp continuous drain (equivalent to a 0.2 ohm build in a mech mod, which would be about 90w)

Sony VCT4, efest 35a (which are actually 20a continuous drain) and LG (HE4 or HE5 I think are the designators) are all recommended.
Buy from a reputable source as they are widely faked. I've got four Samsung 25r's that I use in my Sigelei 50w v2 and a mech set up with no issues.

Pure Mist, MyEpack or look on ebay for Torchy the battery boy or Ecolux - all respected vendors.
A good quality digital charger lets you monitor the health of the battery also, something like a Nitecore D2 - again these are widely faked, so buy from respected vendors.
