Just received 2x125 ml bottles & 2x30 ml bottles of juice from sandsmods in the states, total cost was $131 (about £98) delivered. Reason for my post is that they have a FREE juice offer here http://www.sandsmods.com/free-juice-days/. $131 qualified me for 250 mls free!!!!

Good range of juices with some interesting flavours, I ordered on 7th May and it was delivered today so not a bad turn around, didn't get stung for VAT this time either.

The mahoosive bottle on the right is the freebie!

Gents,

Do we remember the Railbox?

http://vape.tools/en/

Does anyone want one? €319... I've managed to get myself on the build list but just can't justify the cost really. If anyone wants my slot I'm happy to order if you ping me the funds. 24 hours to place the order before my slot gets moved on.

About £230? If so, very interested...

What sort of lead time once the order is placed?

No idea, but missed the slot now. Only had 24 hours to place the order after receiving the email.

Bugger, didn't notice you'd posted yesterday.

Probably a good thing, I've just spent out on the Yihi so have temp control. I just miss the form factor of the Billet Box, and this one had some significant improvements on that too...

I broke one of my isticks yesterday. Thinking temp control device is way to go, just not sure which.

From everything I read and watched, get the Yihi SX mini M.

No reliability issues, a temp control mechanism that seems to be the preferred approach, updateable firmware etc., and very nicely made bit of kit for not too much dosh. Oh, the different power delivery modes are far less of a gimmick than I thought, and the ability to store different settings is great.

Yes, I'm biased with mine, but there was a reason I went for it over the VS/VF/etc. DNA40 devices.

Hog Vaping.

Great service (had a few questions, well answered), quick delivery and decent price...

Am a little bit gutted I missed the railbox - I really do miss the form of the billet box, even though I have lost a lot of confidence in Evolv.

Having spent last night with a couple of folk who've moved from a 30/40 a day habit to e-cigs and been cigarette free for 6 months it got me thinking I should try and cut out my 20 a day Marlboro Gold habit. I have no idea about vaping so I've spent a few hours researching by reading some of this thread and trawling through a few vaping forums, very informative info on here!

So my thoughts are, if I'm serious, I might as well spend a bit on "kit" now and not start with a cheapo starter kit.
Plan is to buy an istick30, a Nautilus mini, some spare coils (1.6ohm) and some liquid (thinking 18mg as the Marlboros I smoke are 0.5mg).

A couple of questions before I hit the "buy" button.
1. Do you think 18mg liquids are the right place for me to start?
2. I'm going to buy everything from http://myepack.co.uk/ so are their dekang e-liquids a good place to start experimenting?
3. Do you need to change the coils when you change flavour? I've read you can "wash" them out, leave to dry and use again, is this correct?
4. Is the Nautilus ok to be stuffed in the bottom of a handbag (I'm sure the guys on the forum can help out here wink ) or is the glass a bit fragile and should I get some sort of case?

Thanks in advance.

istick 30w and a Nautilus mini is a great place to start. I would say 18mg is about right, maybe get some 24mg as well then you have a choice, I went for 10mg and vaped my tits of for a week. Myepak is a quality company to buy from. You don't need to change the coils when you change flavour, but you just get a bit of a cross over. Say you are vaping apple and fill the tank with a tobacco flavour, you are going to get an apple/tobacco until the new juice comes though.

I have never known the Nautilus to leak.

What you have chosen to buy is a very good starting point, it gives you the scope to too move onto sub-ohm tanks at a later date if you wish.
As to your questions,
1. Yes, about right.

2. Never used them myself, taste is a very personal thing, what some like other think tastes like poo. I'm lucky and have a very good vapeshop near me and every thing is available to try.

3. I did wash some of my coils out when I used a mini nautalis and never had any problems doing it. But coils are cheap so didn't do it that much.

4. I suppose it depends on what else rattles around in the bottom of your bag. You can get other tanks, one has a metal cage around the glass another is an all metal surround with a slot so you can see the level of liquid. I had 1 of these due to what I do for a living and never had any trouble.

Hope this helps.

I concur with Cotty. MyEpack are a great vendor for tanks and devices, possibly the best, but not for liquid - look elsewhere for that.

Manabush sell flavoured, sweet tobacco based liquids, well respected in the community; I've been meaning to order some, but haven't done tobacco flavours for a long time.

House of Liquid sell tobacco flavours, not cheap though.

http://www.onepoundeliquid.com/one-pound-tobacco-e... are a quid a bottle and of reasonable quality, better than DeKang/Hangsen etc. British tobacco and Premium Tobacco supposedly decent, try some RY4 as well.

The istick 30w/nautilus will cost you £51 delivered, you can get two of each from Fasttech for £65! It'll take 10 days or so to get here, but is often about a week as both items are in stock - it gives you the best chance to quit as you have a back up in case of drops or failure, and always having a fully charged one to hand. They have them in pink too.

When that's available in a UK Distributor, I'm having one. I've always been a bit of an Aspire fanboy, but I'm getting on really well with the Subtank, far better than I managed with both the Nautilus and the Atlantis. I could do with something a little smaller for out and about (a Subtank Plus on a Sigelei 50w MOD is rather large in the hand) and that looks just about perfect!
