Thanks for the advice and suggestions. thumbup

Stevo I take it you've used fasttech? Their prices seem very low and when I see something described as "authentic" I'm immediately suspicious that it could be a fake.
Saying that I guess I could buy backup stuff from them and see how it compares, £30 isn't going to break the bank!

Has anyone ordered batteries from Fasttech ?
If so how long did they take to arrive as read somewhere about certain restrictions regarding batteries.
14 business days according to this https://www.fasttech.com/forums/shipping/t/1616415... Recent review on FT the buyer received them in the UK 17 days after ordering.

Good value at £12.66 for 4 or less than £20 including a nitecore digital charger.
I ordered another two last night from Pure Mist, £10 delivered and should be here by Thursday. They're the only batteries I use now.

When that's available in a UK Distributor, I'm having one. I've always been a bit of an Aspire fanboy, but I'm getting on really well with the Subtank, far better than I managed with both the Nautilus and the Atlantis. I could do with something a little smaller for out and about (a Subtank Plus on a Sigelei 50w MOD is rather large in the hand) and that looks just about perfect!
I might wait for a few more reviews on the paint finish. Seen a review already about flaking paint skip to 8:20

I just swapped the red orings for black on my mini subtank. Maybe if they do the box in silver ill have one.

I've used them a couple of times with no issues, both orders took 11 days to reach me. A lot of orders are coming in 6-7 days at present.

When it says authentic, then they are authentic - most vaping kit is made in China and they distribute; the isticks will have the authenticity label removed from wherever you buy as Totally Wicked have exclusivity in the UK I believe. It's likely a large percentage of UK vendors buy from Fasttech or similar - I've no qualms about recommending them, just make sure what you're ordering is either in stock or ships next day or delivery can take a while.

Ecigone do a rebranded 30w istick for £24, I bought one 10 days or so ago for my Dad and it's identical, works great; they only have it in pink currently (these are actually slightly more expensive on Fasttech than the isitck 30w!)

Nautilus Mini £20
http://www.ecigone.co.uk/nautilus-mini-bvc-tank.ht...

Atomiser heads (coils) £9
http://www.ecigone.co.uk/nautilus-bvc-atomizer-hea...

£53 all in and free delivery - essentially you get the coil heads for free compared to MyEpack prices. Quick delivery too.

Yes I also like the Sigelei 50w however the size of it put me off, even though I would only be using it indoors as I only use the Gizmo for outside but still the size made me go for the DOVPO Mini 50W which I am waiting for from Fasttech.
For the coil makers out there got these and they work a treat https://www.fasttech.com/p/2066300

For home the Sigelei 50w is great. Put it down and it doesn't fall over. Long battery life

Never tried it Twing, however use the Hangsen RY4 in my little Kayfun and its a pleasant enough vape so tried it in the dripper out of curiosity and it tasted like s**t. So weird how the flavor changes so drastically.

Odd how some taste so much better high up, this Custard is epic at 30 on the Sigelei but really not impressive low down

Do not vape much at high temp as the Kayfun has a habit of burning my wick so I tend not to go high which seems to work well with it, however my dripper seems to be able to handle much higher temps,.
The only thing is the istick 30w runs out of charge very quick when vaping at max.

Stopped at a shop today just to see what he stocked and as usual could not resist so got a Subtank mini, used the prebuilt coil and put some House of Liq virginia prime in.
Fantastic throat hit and so different to the Kayfuns that I regularly use, think I have found another favorite.
Poor Istick is getting a proper hammering.

An alternative to the istick is the Aspire ESP 30w which you can get for £26

I've just got one of these with a Nautilus tank. Leaks live a sieve, have had to clear up a pool from my desk this morning. Watched this vid on Youtube, will give it a go to see if it stops the leaking!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwqWnjal6W0

When it wasn't leaking I immediately cut down to 3 cigs a day from 15, so seems to be better than the cheap kits available.

^^^ Interesting as posted a couple weeks back that my sister in law's leaked and knackered her istick because of this, I was suspecting it was the very low wattage she was vaping at that was to blame but this washer explanation is more likely.

The battery/mod will have no control over the tank leaking.

I have 5 Nautilus tanks, 2 5ml and 3 2.5ml I have never found they leak like you say, pools of liquid, if they did I would not put them in a £300 suit like I do every day. I sometimes find the 510 connection has a bit of juice on it but its a little amount and cleaned up with a bit of a tissue.

Make sure you are using original coils. Don't buy them from Ebay or Amazon, use proper suppliers like http://myepack.co.uk/

I had an istick hunting up and down for ohms, turns out the 510 had some juice on it. A cotton bud sorted it.

The leakage she had was not the connector type but an airhole leakage, we are talking huge leakage where the battery was totally soaked.
Happened twice and second time it killed the istick, probably juice got into the gaps where the buttons are.
The coils is another story as she got everything from a shop abroad (local to her) including a pack of coils so the pack of coils could easily have been a clone as this shop from what I can tell imports a lot of stuff from Fasttech.
In fact she now got a Ego battery till her new istick arrives and the little usb charger he sold her blinks red and does not turn to green even when the battery is fully charged, so prob the coils will be cheap imports also.

Sounds like they were fake coils. Most companies like Aspire and Kanger have scratch panels on the box.You check the authenticity by checking the reference on the official sites. Did she do this?

If she bought fake coils you can't blame Aspire for what fake coils do.

Reference is on the box ? Shall ask her to check as they were sold as authentic from the shop however I reckon many are selling fakes.

So I'm after a vape pen. One that is good for use with sticky oils would be good. I've heard some oils make the coils and wick sticky. So I guess I'm after one that is easy to clean. Any suggestions. I'll be vapeing "homemade oils"
