So I'm after a vape pen. One that is good for use with sticky oils would be good. I've heard some oils make the coils and wick sticky. So I guess I'm after one that is easy to clean. Any suggestions. I'll be vapeing "homemade oils"

Just treated myself to a Kanger EVOD mega - a bit of a move up from the smaller brandless EVODs. So far so good; its a great sturdy pen and you do get much better quality with a Kanger for only a few pounds more.

I'd quite like to know a bit more about this too. I believe a plant derived oil may help my wife in terms of pain relief.

+1 I've been researching quietly for similar, I'll ask next time I'm at my regular shop, won't be for a few weeks though

There is the Snoop Dog pen, and dedicated device is called something like "magic flight liberty box"or mflb, but I'm after something to use with my istick 30.

Relatively simple, my BiL has worked it out...

He just grinds it up, and steeps in ejuice for a couple of days before straining and vaping. Apparently all the active ingredients are pg/vg soluble. No special kit needed, just kills coils pretty quickly (and bloody stinks for some reason - not burnt, but very distinctive).

Sounds like they were fake coils. Most companies like Aspire and Kanger have scratch panels on the box.You check the authenticity by checking the reference on the official sites. Did she do this?

If she bought fake coils you can't blame Aspire for what fake coils do.
Well asked the question and the coils had been checked and were authentic, apparently the culprit for the leakage was a washer on a new coil that was not in the correct position.

Mine was bought from the ukecig store. Have put the extra washer on, hasn't leaked yet but tbh have been smoking ciggies this week so first full day of use today.

So last night ordered the 1:1 clone of the 30w Istick and Atlantis from fasttech - Also ordered 5 x 0.5ohm authentic Atlantis coils - all for a tad under £30.00 delivered - will see how they turn out!

At the same time treated myself to 30ml of Absolute Pin by Five Pawn and got some Red Astaire and a new one I have not yet tried from Colonel Booms...

Not touching the Five Pawns till my Atlantis turns up, as that is what I sampled it on and do not want to spoil the experience!...

On the back of advice from here, I ordered an Eleaf istick 30w and Nautilus clearomizer from Fasttech on 14 May. Any idea how long Fasttech stuffs usually takes? The site says 6-20 business days....

My brother in Malta received his istick 30 from Fasttech in 12 days, not bad.
Waiting for a couple of orders to arrive from them and shall order another istick once the other things get here, so far have been waiting 13 days and no liquids or batteries involved.

Shippings a bit hit & miss with FT. I usually get new coils in 5-6 days but stuff like eliquid & batteries (isticks) usually take a fortnight.

Best way I've found to shop there is group things into smaller orders with the same shipping date and make multiple purchases, placing one large order could mean one item going into restocking then it puts the entire thing on hold frown

then either use China Post or Sing Post. (Never HK post though!!!) step dad bought an epipe and it took 6 weeks!!!

One thing I have noticed and I have not read the entire thread to see if it has been mentioned before is, that if I take a IStick on a flight the coil leaks into the air chamber due to pressure maybe, so when I get out of the airport and take a puff I get a mouthful of juice frown

Testing this theory I turned the IStick upside down in my pocket and it was fine after the flight.

Anyone else notice this?

The istick is the battery, it is a completely separate part. You can unscrew it from whatever tank or cleromiser you are using an put it in a separate pocket.

As for the tank leaking, I have never flown with one.

Thanks Cotty, I am aware the istick is the battery but as a complete unit the coil leaks during flights, Spoke to another person that used a different vape device and she experienced the same.

I only wondered if anyone had seen the same it is easily overcome so not an issue really.

The bending adapter is handy for this, much easier to pocket when bent and the tank is naturally upside down.
