Would save my money (I'm one to talk) and get a temp control mod like the ones that have been mentioned above, in theory you should not get dry hits with them.
I like the TC stuff but as I'm not building coils I'm guessing the Kanger ones wont be any good, don't the TC units need nickel coils?Kanger do nickel occ coils for the subtank...

Just cancelled the Evic VT order on FT. That's getting some seriously bad press! I can put up with some niggly issues like I've got with the istick 50 but it sounds like it could be dangerous. Reports of jumping from TC mode to VV and some firing at high watts in VV mode for a second then dropping down to the correct setting! Oh well!
So! What TC mod do I get! Got a load of Ni200 coils coming for 4 different tanks! Need something to work with them. Gutted!!! Looks the nuts that thing

I'm very happy with the yihi... Going by the various reviews and oscilloscope plots, its probably the best application of temp limiting in the way it works. The various power profiles and memory presets are genuinely useful too - I expected them to be nothing more than a gimmick.
Only thing I'd want to swap it for is a railbox (really miss the form factor of the billet box) - for those who frequent the vaping forums, would you mind letting me know if one comes up for sale?
Have to say, I'd find it very hard recommending anything other than a TL device, even for a new starter. Definitely struggle to reconcile vaping as harm reduction and sub ohm kit without it...

Good move Grif I would have done the same and cancelled but as you said it looked so fantastic.
The Temp control only worked over 30w according to the vid you posted, that is a nono as never vape over 30w so no point.
The Hcigar VT 40 looks good but the price is a bit on the steep side at the moment.

DNA40 £79 at ukecig now!!!! Last time I checked it was £149!
Aye, the Vaporshark stuff has been dropped in price recently - £79 for dna40, £99 for rdna40.I'm seriously swithering on the Hcigar vt40 I linked to earlier; it's getting hugely positive reviews, but after messing about on builds with my mech recently that equate to 80w, I think I'm going to wait for the Sigelei 75w TC
Also, eleaf deals: http://us8.campaign-archive2.com/?u=6f4f0c2c3f31d0...

Just got myself a youde zepharus tank, very nice .3 ohm coil. I want to get a temp sensing device really and some nickel though, anyone recomend a good mod? Must go over 50w though as like a few clouds
Currently using this new tank with a 50w istick which tbh is great!
Sigelei 75w temp limiting was due out early next week, but has been delayed until the first or second week in July; they've also got a 150w device due. IPV4 does 100 but is ugly as sin. Evic vt60 has had mixed reviews. Yihi sx mini m class is very nice indeed but will set you back £145. IPV3 li will do 165w, Snowolf 200w, and Evolv are bringing out a DNA 200w.Currently using this new tank with a 50w istick which tbh is great!
I'm still swithering on the Hcigar VT40 - I rarely went above 17w on my old Sigelei 50w v2, but occasionally I'd stick a low build in a dripper and cloud the house out, but the rate it went through liquid was hard to justify. A low build of 0.2 in my dripper is equivalent to 88w in my mech on a fresh Samsung 25r battery, but you're getting close to the amp limit of the battery (and it gets through liquid at a frightening rate) I tend to keep my drippers at 0.4 for plenty of battery headroom, and juice economy! But a mech and dripper is the best vape I've had to date, but isn't as consistent as a regulated device due to battery drop off.

I'm getting the GP Paps back out tomorrow and sticking this Velocity on there for a low ohm build Haven't touched any of my mechs since getting the istick last year! Hope the old batteries are still ok?Just ordered a pack of the Vaporshark temp sensing coils for the Silo & Nautilus tanks, DNA40 should be here tomorrow
This Velocitys awesome Steve! Missus went ape st earlier! Clouded the living room out when the big brother eviction came on
