Got any picks of your yihi set up, next to something else for comparison? I get the impression it's quite big.

I like my istick 30w and don't really want to go too much bigger...
Looks much bigger.
Am going to wait for the TC istick to come out and may be start from there as its the same size as an ordinary 30 istick.

I really want a Triton but was waiting for some reviews first.

How much did you pay and where from. They were looking expensive at first

Hawl Dai - see for a big hard ass Welsh fecker, you've got lovely nails tongue out

And ni200 coils have to be spaced, as you've found out, but the Kuro coiler can wrap spaced coils wink

And before I forget what I'm in here for, shark skins £4

Lol! Aye they need a trim. My shark skin should be here from p-vaper tomorrow Steve smile .....I won't mention the color again but it's a sort of light redish;)

Here's one for you! UD Zephyrus sub ohm tank, major disappointment after all the hype, I can honestly say I've never had a tank gurgle & leak so much ever!!!! It's meant to be one of 'the' tanks at the mo, could be a faulty head but it's dumping all its juice out the air holes, covered in the stuff. Shame as it looks a decent one.

Ni200 builds I'm having another go at tomorrow, I've got is set to 420 degrees but it's hitting this pretty much instantly at 25-30w and throttling right back even with a soaked deck, so maybe there's a hot spot in the coil or they're touching underneath/behind? I'll keep at it though, only been a day smile

Just got the ud zepharus tank and it's great, no leaks or gurgling at all. All joking aside have you filled it properly? I.e take the little red grommet type thing out? I did spill some juice down into the coil bit and got a bit of gurgle and it leaked through the holes.

Decent tank, not much point of 0.3 ohm IMO. Will rebuild to more like 1 ohm as it drinks juice and tbh although better than a sub tank it's not so much better it's worth chucking juice away. I'll also say that to me the sub tank feels a bit more airy, I'm not sure how as the ud has massive air flow.

Just watched this from the Tubbyengineer fella
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ8Ml8YwSJs Twisted microcoil Ni200 build smile

Just paid in to the group buy on POTV for a UTA 2 alike - they're all raving about them, so thought fk it. The chance of getting a real one in the f5 war, and they cost £170, wasn't going to happen - so I'm in.

There's a railbox alike as well for £60 delivered - love the idea of it, but looks massive!

I won it in the online giveaway I mentioned last week.

I'm not too keen on it so far TBH.

It doesn't produce as much vapour as the Atlantis, the flavour isn't as good and it pops / crackles after about 2 seconds of being fired at 30w. It has a bit of a burnt taste at 30w as well. It does seem to be getting slightly better the more I'm using it though.

I'm no vaping expert though so it could be user error i suppose.

Dai, would you be willing to make me a nickel coil for the subtank deck?

I've always stuck with premades after a disastrous attempt back in the days of vertical genesis attys, but am interested in seeing the difference.

Happy to cover costs plus a bit extra to go towards a Yihi...

wink

Yeah sure mate, I've got 26 & 28 gauge here from stealthvape, not sure which is the best thickness to use with the subtank but I've been sticking 28 gauge in the drippers. Just need to be careful wicking it as its so soft & moves easily.

Stripped & cleaned it 3 times now and tried filling with the air holes closed again but still getting loads of flooding. I'll try the RBA head now and see if that's better. Some reports of the stick head shorting as well, shame this! Looks/feels excellent quality frown

It's a lot better now. Producing alot more vapour and it's not popping / crackling but the taste is still nowhere near as strong as the Atlantis (the only other tank I've used), it's actually like the juice is flavourless! Even when i suck on it without firing it, there's no hint of what flavour is in the tank confused

Well that Zephyrus is back in its box!! Cleaned out again, fresh dual coil RBA build and it's pissed all the juice through the bottom again. Must be a faulty seal where the silver pin lives. Gutted!!

Sharkskins here. Went for pink to throw the Missis off the scent, don't think it's gonna work! Different colour pink!!!!

Starting to get the hang of the temp control now, fresh nickel build in the Origen, all spaced nicely and kept it around 25w. Nice deep juice well on this so as long as I keep it topped up or not get dry its staying under 420 degs.

Been using my Subox for a couple of days now and I can safely say that it's fantastic.

Wasn't convinced by the plastic housing as opposed to Pyrex for the tank, but it's not put a foot wrong yet.

Switched down from 12mg to 6mg and it's hitting the sweet spot every time. 30W on the 0.5 OCC.

Can heartily recommend the Subox kit to anyone sitting on the fence. It's a really good VFM package too.

A humongous thank you griffin dai smile Didn't expect that parcel of goodies! Love the drip tips, the clear/metal one went straight on my Lemo drop smile I'll be sticking a Clapton in the Derringer!

Got 250ml of nicotine from Darkstar to begin diy mixing, just waiting on pg/vg to show up - I'll send you some Dave, when I'm happy with it.

smile no worries Steve smile

With the Clapton/triple/quad wires there's just enough for a single coil each mate, if your using the Kuro I'd try keep as much wire to twist as possible as I've been caught out a couple times with it frown

Defo give the cotton bacon v2 a go, best wicking material I've tired so far smile

Is one supposed to heat the nickel coils up at all with a burner before attaching them just to get some rigidity ?
Not seen any youtube builds so am curious.
