Hammersmith is fine. Since I've gone sub ohm I'm getting more picky about juices. Cheap online is okay - but as I said really picky now so no good. Hoping they have tanks to put onto my mods - as I can't imagine having to keep changing the fluids in my tanks.

This thread is huge now and as usual the search facility isn't up to much so could someone advise me please? I gave up smoking using ecigs and gave up ecigs themselves after a while so I'm a bit behind the curve. I've just sold all of my old kit to a mate and he's having real trouble with coughing which if I recall correctly is down to the throat hit? How can he stop that? I always used low nicotine juices and he does too but he can't stop coughing. He's slightly better with the sub ohm kit and doesn't inhale into his lungs just holds it in his mouth and exhales.
In my bad memory I seem to remember that the PG VG ratio helps, but what should that ratio be? Any other suggestions too would be great as he's getting put off. Cheers.

£430. The 'wrong' chip. But so damn purty!

I need it, where do I throw my cash?
Add Lee Ash as a friend on facebook (he's quite 'distinctive'!) then shoot him a pm. Can't imagine the list will be open too long, I need to make a decision quickly...

I 'think' I've sussed the TC out on this dna40!!

I've been dripping in my SoV clone RDA (awesome dripper) 0.08ohms @ 20-24w and noticed with the nickel wire it looks like it's burning the cotton as there's some black parts on the wire so when it's juiced up it looks burnt. TC's been kicking in a lot at 380/390/400/410 & 420f even with a wet wick and the power drops off so much it hardly vapes.

So cleaned it out took the cotton out and washed it to see if it's burnt and it's spotless! Hasn't got a mark on it!

So switched TC off dry burnt the coil and the black marks have gone:

Rewicked again and started off at 420f @20w and TC kicks in after a few mins, upped the temp to 480/490/500 and it vapes great, coil goes black again in a few places but pulled the cotton and still not a mark on it smile Not sure how long it'll last at 500 but got the cotton almost dry and didn't burn.

So I think with this one I can safely vape up to 500f and the cottons not burning. Getting there......

What's the score with the juices safe temp before they become nasty? Anybody got info on that? I'm starting to think it's more about the juice breaking down than the cotton burning?

Seems to depend massively on the juice... It'll be great when manufacturers put temp ranges on the bottle...

Anything sweet seems to 'burn' at a lower temp. Menthols seem to stand higher temps, but for normal vaping I'm sticking to a max of 420f as I believe that's a 'safe' number for any juice.

I've had my Sigelei 75w for a couple of days now (great service from myepack) and am really happy with it. It's a really compact size which I what I was after. Seems really well made although the up/down buttons are a little rattly, battery lasts about 24 hrs for me and it's easy to use.

I'm using a subtank mini v2 with the OCC nickel coils for now. Settled on 25w and 410f temp. I haven't got any nickel wire yet but will get some tempered nickel from stealthvape and try out the rba section at some point.

As much as I like the size of my Gizmo mod paired up with mini Kayfun they still weigh the best part of 190g and are fine in winter as can shove them in a coat pocket but in summer its not so easy.
So got this today, base and battery total cost just over £6, and paired it up with Naturevape mini and total weight is 74g.

I wear a suit most of the time so always got pockets. Been carrying my Sigelei 30w and subtank most days.

Sometimes wear a suit and sometimes not at the moment as its pretty warm, find also with suit pockets the weight can still be felt and is annoying.
Like to travel light, do not wear a watch or jewellery at all.
Only just moved with the times and bought an android phone (hate the size) and thats because my old 7 year old tiny Nokia broke.

When you get the nickel wire it would be great if you can post and let me/us know how it goes without premade coils as I think it is the TC mod I am leaning towards.

I've just booked a holiday to Sharm. Anyone been and had probs vaping there? Loads of threads on the vaping forums but not really a definitive answer on getting the hard wear through customers. Would rather carry in hand luggage

There's been a few reports of rattly buttons, and others saying their's is rattle free.

Looks good but my next mod has to be TC, such a shame the istick was faulty as when it worked it was great and the size was so compact.

TC needs everything right to work consistently...

I know it's more dosh, but my Yihi has been rock solid running just the subtank premade ni200 coils. Between 390 and 410f, 25-35J.

Clouds and clouds of great tasting, smooth vape.
To be honest I would probably spend the money on it if it works how it's supposed to. I like being able to just 'plug and play' hence I just use the premade coils in my subtank, I tried the RBA head once and haven't used it since, I just throw a new coil in every few days and I'm happy. Think I'll bide my time a little longer then take the plunge, been vaping for nearly a year now but I've managed my first 7 days cig free in over 10 years so I must be doing something right!
