No worries, just trying to help. It might be helpful after your trip to post on the thread your experiences. Good or bad.

Might help other people who vape to hear how you got on. I have not flown since I started vaping so don't know the pitfalls.

Not flown either since I started, going away in October when it cools down a bit and be a bit more quiet in the Med.

Just out and back from Florida and there were no concerns either side with them. All liquids were placed in a bag and put in the carry-on.

Through work, I've flown over 300 times since starting vaping. Never been an issue carrying a mod on board with a filled tank. Juice was always in hand luggage, and just put into the placcy bag...

Started when ecigs were still quite rare. Remember a very puzzled Swiss security chap in Zurich manning the X Ray, asked me what it was then looked at me like I was insane. Thought I was gonna be in for 'questions' when he asked me to show him. Then he had a go and asked me to bring him one when I was passing through the next week.

Ended up carrying over 60 evod starter kits to Zurich - converted half of Z airport security as well as most of the office!

Just a quick note for anyone may be travelling through Dubai. Today I had my Vape (3 x nautilus, and battery) confiscated as I left the country.

I live here, and so asked if they could place in lost property so I can collect on my return. It was met with a firm refusal. I went to the police desk to discuss further, but they would not budge.

According to them it is an edict from some flight authority, and they will be confiscated on entry and exit due to some new legislation introduced 3 weeks ago. I flew to Egypt last week with no issues at all!

My suspicion is there is no aviation law for this, and it is a local decision. I just wanted to give a heads up as Dubai is a common location for visitors and transit, and hand luggage is scanned through transit.

Will be my longest flight in a while with no Vape! I used to be able to do it when on the fags, but this feels worse! Wish me luck!
Yup, apparently they're banned out there. As for why, not too sure as I'm pretty sure they sell them in Dragon Mart. I'm heading out there in a few weeks but will either take a cheap set on the basis of knowing I'll have it confiscated, or just avoid taking anything at all. I have heard however, of people being given just a warning and getting away with it. Internet anecdotes though, so perhaps not reliable and also my readings were before 3 weeks ago, so may have all changed now.

Bit of advise please fellas? The rebuildable bases from my Kanger subs seem to break really easily (the part the screws for the coil go into). Is there a stronger alternative? Ideally something I can walk into a shop and buy.

Cheers!

been dipping in and out of this thread and wondered if anyone in the UK subscribes to Zample box or similar. What is the service like?

I see with Zample box you can say what flavours you like so if I did not tick menthol or tobacco can I expect none of them flacours in the box.

The service is fantastic, I had the gold package for around 5 months which I think worked out around £45-50 p/m and had between 125-165mls each month.

You get to try juices that are either unavailable in the UK or stuff you'd never even think of trying which is good! My only gripe was I find these U.S. Juices taste very similar, so with the last two boxes around 50% pretty much tasted the same with slight differences, must have had 5 bottles from different vendors and couldn't tell any difference between them. So I sacked it.

And yep smile You only get the flavour profiles you select.

If your on the fence about it give Get Vape a try, they're all US juices so you can see if you like them or not.

I've been using mine for a few days now, and I think it is very good.

I am surprised to see how much liquid someone has listed they use, I'm using the UK made Mystic Juice, and am still on my first bottle, which was £5.

Do some of you drink it ?

There is a huge variation in juice consumption depending on the setup you are using and obviously the amount of times you vape.
Was shocked first time when I got the subtank mini when compared to my previous tanks however its so much worse now with the Kayfun4 and TC mod.
If I was buying the juice from the shops I would start to budget my consumption its that bad.

Wow - things have really moved on since I last had an ecig.

All a little overwhelming for me but want to get a new ecig.

I think I used to have a joytech with ego clearomizers.

So want something reliable and easy to use. Something that isn't too big and can be carried around easily but also doesn't require filling up every 5 mins.

I don't think I'll really want something which I will be modding a lot but rather ease of use and reliability is what I'm looking for.

Any kits people can recommend? Best brand ? Where to buy?

I notice aspire and kangar seem to be popular - is this what I should be looking at?

I used vapeescape in the past and they seemed ok.

Many thanks for guidance or suggestions...

Depends on whether you mouth to lung inhale or straight up lung hit?

Budget?

You probably need to go down the Nautilus mini for a tank. The naturevape coils that fit these are supposed to be a good swap out for the originals and last longer.

Battery power wise I can see past the i stick tbh. Probably the 50w as it has a longer battery life and although there are some reported problems with them, they are no where near as bad as made out. I have been running two of them for well over six months now and they are really good and will last for an age if you are using a Nautilus mini as you will be fairly low on the wattage side. Failing that the 30W is pretty good although battery life isn't as good.

The advantage of the much overrated battery for your requirements is that, should you decide to, you can upgrade to better tanks later.

I might be well off the mark there as to what you require but this is the set up that has got a few of my friends off the cigarettes.

Hope this is of some help.

Aspire and Kanger are pretty much the main players at the moment, but do seem to be pushing down the Sub-Ohm route and that usually doesn't work to well with people who mouth to lung. The equipment is pretty spot on though.

The Aspire Triton is probably one of the best mouth to lung vapes I have used. But its a sodding big tank.
