I've got the Sigelei 75w tc, would recommend, it's fairly compact but heavy.

^^ Same here regarding the Sig, got it because of you guys recomending it and no regrets as it performs well every time and is very solidly built.
The istick is great for its size as very compact and light, if the new ones work well I would recomend it however not for someone who wants a decent TC mod as you would want to upgrade it very soon after.

Mine does that if I over drip the coil or let it run dry of juice.

Just bought a subtank plus for holidays, it's fking huuuuge! How does it compare to the mini cloud-wise? Two great big air holes in it, anyone use the plus?
My Subtank Plus is my only tank, I use it every day on my 50W iStick or my 50w Sigelei, once you get used to the size it's fine. Fill it at night and it'll last me the following day no problem. It's only nights like tonight where I've an empty house and an excuse to have a beer or two I topped it up earlier, they fairly plow through the juice with the 0.5 ohm coil however. Great vape with the big airholes and direct lung inhales, plenty of vapour (can turn the kitchen into a foggy mess with about 5 draws) and plenty of flavour.

On the subject of leaking, I've never had a problem with mine, it gets a proper clean every couple of weeks and as long as it's screwed together properly it's been fine.

Payday next month I'll be jumping into the world of temp control, shopping list so far consists of another Subtank Plus, a 150W Sigelei TC mod to give me plenty of battery life and a Yihi SX Mini just so I can see how good it actually is.

I think that'll be me sorted permanently as I haven't had a cigarette in almost 2 months now, and I was an easy 40 a day smoker before. I do however still use 12mg juice in the tanks with direct lung inhales, I've found anything less just doesn't quite cut it. I've also managed to break the habit of never having the thing out my mouth, I probably use it as much now as when I used to smoke as opposed to pretty much constantly.

So far it seems to have worked for me, I can breath a little easier now and my bank balance is certainly stronger than when I was smoking!! Those who are thinking about it I'd echo others comments about the iStick/Nautilus Mini combo, but if it doesn't work don't be afraid to change to something else, I've probably £250 worth of tanks, battery's and juice in a drawer that I tried before I settled on what I'm using now. For an alternative starter kit I'd suggest a Subtank, 50W Mod and a mixture of coils and juice and just try them until you find something you're happy with. I don't rebuild my coils or use the RBA head, can't be bothered with the faff, I stick with the premade 0.5 ohm coils and change them every 7-10 days. More expensive yes, but convenience and the fact it's still a fraction of the price compared to £20 on fags every day works for me!

Cheers gents, will look into it.

I'm all for getting her a sx mini (which I still believe is the best on the market), however she's not having it, due to weight mainly.

Thought is that even if the istick tc isn't perfect, it's good enough to make her realise the form factor is less important than the vape...

Any mod makers producing cool kit yet using the sx chip, or are they still all playing with rdna40s?

Well I'm sat at Stansted airport getting steadily pissed, I hate flying frown no probs at customs with any of my vape kit, crossed my mind that the juice is technically a poison (I've de-labelled as per advice on here, thanks TX) but no probs at all. Just gotta stealth vape somewhere for an hour before getting in the airborne coffin rolleyes

Talking of leaking...

Finally decided to go for a subox after nearly a year of the naut mini.
Arrived Yesterdy and all fine, today's not very good.

Standard coil 1.6 at around 15w and its leaking quite bad from the air holes and bottom of the tank.
Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or anyone else has this problem.

I bought 1 yesterday after my curve's threads gave up. Like yours mine leaked out of the box, as the shops closed tomorrow I've tried my own fix.

Take the glass sleeve off, and take the bottom o ring off, turn it inside out and refit. Run the glass under a tap so the o ring is wet and reassemble.

Seems ok on mine so far.

Does any rebuild their own coils with these?

Yes the coil build is very straight forward on them, only ever use the rba myself.

There's quite a few using the SX350j, bloody pricey though! Have a look through this thread at some of the smaller mod makers http://ukvapers.org/Thread-The-Sexy-Box-Mod-Porn-T...

IPV D2 has recently been released, 75w TC with YiHi chip and circa £40-45 - it's getting good reviews and is pretty small indeed, but only comes in very austere black (and black silicon sleeve) Does on board charging, but not via micro USB, only the supplied charge cable.

Evic VTC mini is due for release. tiny at 22x38x82mm and comes in three colours - green looks particularly feminine http://www.joyetech.com/product/evic-vtc-mini/?age...

Wish this was TC especially as it can take some decent sized tanks.

If your subtank is leaking out of the air holes then its the Coil/Rba seal, Ensure the seal is sitting correctly, Is clean and then do it up really tight, If its leaking externally its the tank seals/Base seal (All IMO)

It's been a week now without a cigarette. I'm really pleased I persevered with vaping. Went back to Vape emporium today to get two more bottles of 'the vial cafe latte'
Interestingly the seem to be the only stockists of that particular brand of juice.

Well done smile

I got an Aromamizer v1 dripper in the post today, supposed to be one of the best flavour drippers; 54% off so £15.99 delivered, which is clone money for a genuine atty. It's having a bath in the ultrasonic, then I'll stick a build in and see if it's as good as they say?

I've also just added a Kanger mini subtank to my collection & wow on the 0.5 coil this tank is amazing. I've never really liked the sweet flavours & stuck to tobacco gradually adding a little vanilla & black cherry to the mix. However with this new tank I'm really enjoying using the 'vial blushing cherries'. I'm actually going through it so fast I'll have to make the trip across London to stock up on the stuff. Not had any leaking on the tank like others have, but when I was reading reviews on it lots of people said setting the battery to a higher wattage helped the problem. For those having issues maybe this is worth a try? I'm running mine on an istick at around 29 watts. Hopefully it will stay leak free.

Needing a little advice myself from you guys too. Due to my new found tolerance of sweet flavours thought I might try the suicide bunny mothers milk that seems to get raved about. Where is a good place to buy it?

I order most of my juices from Vape club, lots of special juices, mother milk is there.

Spend £20 for next day delivery. (Which is good and bad)

I'm still using the standard coil in the subtank, what's shall I expect ont the 0.5?
