On a separate note, tried buying some fresh 18650s when I bought the istick tc, only to find they can't send them outside of a device now?

Anywhere I can get top quality batteries delivered to me for decent price?

Some more HE4s ordered. Current ones have started to 'slump' heavily even when there's still a third of a charge remaining. This is two on rotation constantly for the last six months. Forty quid a year on batteries is no hardship.

Bought these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-LG-HG2-18650-3000mAh-... which are supposed to be very good, been using for a month or so and they are great.

On new juices, one worth looking at (I've just ordered the sample pack) http://novavapes.tictail.com/.,
Great find, an interesting selection of flavours and very reasonably priced. Sample pack ordered.

I've been struggling through a selection LSC juices. Finding they are lacking depth to the flavour on my subtank- istick. Maybe they'll be better after steeping a while

The only place to buy batteries from imho as you know what you are getting from Torchy.

ETA: He has an ebay shop

Got my Envy 17 and Nano tank so thought I would share what it looks like next to an istick 30w and the gizmo17.
Put the 1.2 coil in and works great and should keep me happy for a while.

Any tips for buying premade coils for the subtank mini rba? Preferably from somewhere I can pick up some cotton bacon aswell - assuming this is still regarded as the best?

Appreciate the advice Gents

so my adventure in dripping and rebuilding begins. God damn this hobby and recommendations from here. I took delivery of 30ft of 28 Kanthal A1 wire, organic cotton, an ohm meter and an SV drip atomizer.

Below is my first coil. sloppy I know but is the principle right. this fired at 1.6ohm though, the next one I made was 1.3ohm.

I am using an ESP 30w what watt would you use for 1.3ohm?

I need to do some reading.

The SV is AWESOME!!! It's all I've been using all month in TC mode (that's a first for me as I've usually got 3 or 4 attys on the go)

Very easy to rebuild or clean & rewick and holds a ton of juice if you keep the cap on and just drip through the drop tip opening. Just watch the spit back through the air holes as they're angled downwards so you get boiling hot eliquid in the eyeball if your not careful.

Flavour though.....amazing wink

Grif need some advice, what would you use to try out flavours in small amounts ?
Just to get an idea what the flavout tastes of and try something else with an easy wick change , you know what I mean ?
Got a few concentrates and want to get a rough idea what they taste like with not much hassle.

I just use an old totally wicked mini dda, not a good dripper but ideal for testing juices out, same as this mate:

Just recoil it with 0.3 kanthal to around 1.5-2.0 ohms with cotton (cotton bacon v2 I find best for flavour) as the pre built coil is crap and comes with silica wicks, so bends & burns too easy. Super easy to clean/wipe over & rewick wink

Ouch! No other tanks/drippers with you? I don't even go to the pub without two set-ups, never mind feckin Malaysia! Quick Google are there are plenty of vape stores there - get one posted to you?

Productive vape day today - got some pre-cut battery wraps from a POTV member and rewrapped some of my tatty batteries; Brasso'd the switch on my mech to keep the connection as good as possible; got 30ml of Digby's El Cadejo from another POTV member - Digby's have only had 0mg in stock for the last few weeks, so I'm pleased with that purchase for £11 odds.

Mixed some liquids up at our home away from home on Sunday, forgot to take the ultrasonic to aid steeping, so that's been getting done all day - surprising how it helps it mix and colour.

And finally, put a titanium build in the Lemo drop - had the Koopor 60w TC for a good while and haven't really messed with the TC; it's working rather effectively in the Lemo, which is a surprise in itself as I'm using 70vg!

I have dropped to carrying just one set up on pub trips, maybe with some extra juice.

Touch wood, I've yet to break a tank glass; usually take regulated/tank and dripper/mech so I've got a choice of flavours.

Likewise regarding the glass. Im having coil issues at the moment with the 1.2ohm's in the subtank so may take a couple of tanks and some extra coils on Friday. MIght as well take a mod for each save having to sway them over.

Just ordered some 0.5ohm coils for the subtank to resolve the problem. The new vertical 1.2ohm Kanger coils have a tighter draw and leak and quickly burn the wicking material.

Reading complaints about a few standard coils recently, and hearing about it too! My Mrs has been moaning about the last couple of packs of Nautilus coils being gurgly/leaky - then saw a post by one of the POTV mods saying his Mrs was finding likewise, seems to be since they went to organic cotton from the ceramic stuff.

Have put the Aromamiser dripper up for trade on POTV, just cannot get on with it frown

I popped into a local vape shop and they had some of the older style horizontal 1.2ohm coils so I bought a couple of boxes. I may go back and get some more biggrin
