arrgh, mine goes upto 20w, bit pissed off as I spent £30 on it and should have gone straight onto the 30 w ( or above ) and given myself more range!
The 20W will not fire a coil that low. You could try the 1.2ohm coil as thats what I use. But I still have some of the old stock horizontal coils.

One thing that the "premium" liquid I am using at the moment says on the bottle is "100% PG free", so I assume that cheaper liquids contain that where as the mythos athena liquid I have doesn't. I have also noticed in the shop I go to that the premium liquids tend to be in bigger glass bottles and have a glass pipette rather than the smaller plastic bottles the diamond mist comes in.
All that means is the liquid has no propylene glycol in it, it is 100%
vegetable glycerin. Which is the thicker of the two liquids. Some people use 100% PG as they may have an alergy or don't like the throat hit.

Also I by 70VG/30PG juice that comes in glass bottles with glass pipette the liquid is also suppied in plastic bottles. The container it comes in doesn't matter. I also have ordered in the past 100% VG juice that came in plastic bottles.
Oh OK makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

Most probably the bottle and glass pipette cost more than the liquid inside, the packaging is designed to justify the price.

Gents, after a little advice please. Pay day is this Friday so I'm treating myself to a Yihi SX Mini and a new Subtank, but just wondering what batteries those of you who use one put in it? Will be purchasing from myepack and would prefer to get the whole lot from there as the service is excellent.

I already have 4 of these http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/samsung-inr-18650-2...

But they also have these http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/lg-inr18650-hg2-20a... and these http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/panasonic-ncr18650b... Any indication which would be the better purchase?

Also, I currently use the Subtank Plus but the downside is it tends to overhang the side of just about any mod I care to put it on, and quite frankly it makes my OCD senses tingle like hell!! That said, they now a black one that I might just purchase anyway, but that's a side issue. Does anybody know the diameter of the connector on the top of the Yihi? I've had a scout around the net but I'm coming up a bit short on figuring out of the Plus will over hang the top?

Oh, and if anybody can recommend me a decent website that does plastic drip tips that'll fit the Subtank, my front teeth would be most grateful!

What is the best occasional vaper, maybe 6 - 7 days a month, i like to smoke with a few drinks, so a good alternative , so something that not too expensive but not fussed about super long batteries?

For batteries, I currently use Sony VTC5s. Seem to have done the job pretty well!

Don't think the plus will fit flush - the mini lines up perfectly with a very slight chamfer running around the circumference of the top connector. If the plus is more than a mm larger in diameter, it'll overhang the connector. Might not overhang the main body though - there's a couple of mm of body sticking out past the connector. Crap pic time!

Yes, it's very battered. Don't read too much into that as pretty much every device I've had gets a kicking. The only one that stood up to it for an extended period was my Billet Box, which still looks pretty much perfect.

I use the LG HG2 in my Sigelei 75w, I got them as they were 3000mah, no complaints. I would use what you already have and see what the battery life is before buying more.

Most Sony VTC5's are classed as fakes, Sony haven't made them in a few years and don't support them http://www.powerstream.com/sony-vtc-availability-l...

Anyone has had any success in building and wicking the Kanger 1.2 occ coils ?
Mine ended up with a dodgy taste, they produced plenty of vapour but the taste was nasty, any ideas ?

Ah, you've jogged my memory!

Was recommended vtc5s if I could get them. Realised I couldn't so bought vtc4s instead...

Not to dissuade you from buying an SX mini (it's a cracking mod, V2 with upgraded paint, free LG HE2 battery, silicone case and extension tube is £149 here https://redjuice.co.uk/body-only-and-mods/the-enth... more to make you aware that DNA200 devices are coming to market now - the Hcigar VT200 can be had for £108 - however the software has moved the game on again from when the YiHi SX mini M was top dog.

Evolv have provided E-Scribe software that allows you to set up to 8 profiles for different atomisers (you can set the initial power/preheat/etc), monitor the LiPo cells, create welcome screens/add logos for your atty's and plenty more - having read some posts from vapers who really know there stuff, they really rate this chip very highly.

As I said, not to dissuade you from an SX (and much cheaper through Redjuice than MyEpack) but if your spending this kinda money, it might be worth doing a little research - a VT200 over a SX Mini leaves a fair chunk for a very nice atty wink

Downside is that most DNA 200 devices currently require a LiPo pack (supplied) so you'll have to charge the device as opposed to changing batteries over. User review from POTV https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/product-...

http://www.angelfiremods.co.uk/hcigar-vt200-back-o... POTV 10 for 10% off (currently out of stock, were due in 21/9)

Wicking them's fine, I use the Japanese cotton and leave a decent bit of overhang each side to push back in. I do need to drip the coil a bit more than the original to get good taste though.

Nice one, will keep that in mind for when the mrs reaches breaking point!

Did some research on the house of liquids stuff, it seems highly regarded for tobacco vapers so just ordered a few bottles to see what they're like. Can't wait to get them, thanks!
Received my liquids today. Haven't had a puff yet but opened the first packet the bottles come in to find a bottle and a "refreshing wipe". Bizarre! What is the wipe for?

Hi twing, good holiday ?
Anyhow are you doing the coil build also or rewicking the old one ?
Not sure if its the wicking or the coil I am building, same ohms but may be the spacing on the turns is not right on the coil I am building.
Am using Muji cotton also.

Hehe I also wonder the same thing, probably to make them look posh.
Have you ordered the sample pack or individuals ?
Asking as the sample pack I found can be vaped instantly as I think have been steeped but the individuals improve if given a couple of weeks.

Great hols thx bud, vaping was a nightmare in the heat though ( I could type a whole thread)!
Tbh I haven't bothered with re-building the coils, I reckon I've rewicked half a dozen times on each occ and not had a problem. So at 2 quid a coil I'm happy.

I see, well my intention is to rewick the real 1.2 ones but have a couple of 0.5 which I do not like so thats why dismantled one and built it to 1.2, bought a couple of packs of the 1.2 to go with the Nano so they should last a while especially if they can be rewicked like you have done.
Not vaped in the heat as yet, 2.5 weeks time I am off and hoping it is a bit cooler.
