Hi twing, good holiday ?
Anyhow are you doing the coil build also or rewicking the old one ?
Not sure if its the wicking or the coil I am building, same ohms but may be the spacing on the turns is not right on the coil I am building.
Am using Muji cotton also.
When I was rewicking my subtank mini rba with muji cotton there was a definite funny taste for a while, keep vaping it and see if it goes away. Took maybe half to a tank to a tank to go if I remember correctly. Happened with every rewick.

This tasted really nasty, like a fishy taste.
Yes same here with the rba it is a bad taste for a short while but this was proper nasty and there is no way I could vape half a tank that way.
What tank have you got with the Sigelei Stu ? Myself have same battery as yourself in it the LG and the kayfunv4 clone.
Works a treat however needs rewicking every week as seems to lose its oomf every so often but am chuffed with it.

I'm still using the subtank mini but using the prebuilt ni200 coils, as I'm diying the juice with good nic, vg, pg and flavourart flavour concentrates the coils last many weeks so not using the rba at all these days. I am thinking of trying the uwell crown tank next as it has dual prebuilt ni200 coils and may give even more flavour.

Are you dry burning the coils when rewicking? Maybe to much power and melting the insulator slightly, hence the taste

For batteries, I currently use Sony VTC5s. Seem to have done the job pretty well!

Don't think the plus will fit flush - the mini lines up perfectly with a very slight chamfer running around the circumference of the top connector. If the plus is more than a mm larger in diameter, it'll overhang the connector. Might not overhang the main body though - there's a couple of mm of body sticking out past the connector. Crap pic time!

Yes, it's very battered. Don't read too much into that as pretty much every device I've had gets a kicking. The only one that stood up to it for an extended period was my Billet Box, which still looks pretty much perfect.
Perfect, at least give me an idea what it's like. I'm probably going to end up going with the Plus anyway as the less I have to fill the damn thing the better, it's about the perfect size for me to only have to fill once a day

I use the LG HG2 in my Sigelei 75w, I got them as they were 3000mah, no complaints. I would use what you already have and see what the battery life is before buying more.
Thanks, the ones I'm using at the moment last less than a day in my Sigelei 50w and I've looked after then since day one. Might give the LG ones a try and see how I get on as a comparison

Not to dissuade you from buying an SX mini (it's a cracking mod, V2 with upgraded paint, free LG HE2 battery, silicone case and extension tube is £149 here https://redjuice.co.uk/body-only-and-mods/the-enth... more to make you aware that DNA200 devices are coming to market now - the Hcigar VT200 can be had for £108 - however the software has moved the game on again from when the YiHi SX mini M was top dog.

Evolv have provided E-Scribe software that allows you to set up to 8 profiles for different atomisers (you can set the initial power/preheat/etc), monitor the LiPo cells, create welcome screens/add logos for your atty's and plenty more - having read some posts from vapers who really know there stuff, they really rate this chip very highly.

As I said, not to dissuade you from an SX (and much cheaper through Redjuice than MyEpack) but if your spending this kinda money, it might be worth doing a little research - a VT200 over a SX Mini leaves a fair chunk for a very nice atty wink

Downside is that most DNA 200 devices currently require a LiPo pack (supplied) so you'll have to charge the device as opposed to changing batteries over. User review from POTV https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/product-...

http://www.angelfiremods.co.uk/hcigar-vt200-back-o... POTV 10 for 10% off (currently out of stock, were due in 21/9)
Thanks for the info, I'll confess I'm not a big fan of buying the new to market stuff, I prefer to wait and see what the reviews are like after a good few months before diving in, I've wasted enough cash on gear in the past that I'd rather stick with something that's got good reviews and has been on the market a while. Will keep it in mind though as if I get on with the Yihi I'll be looking to get another TC mod in the near future.

Cheers for the link the cheaper set though, just need to wait till Monday and the pay check has cleared!

They are the ones Kanger supplies with their black and white subtanks. I lost my white one, this is exactly the same. I bought a couple of black to replace the metal ones I have, fit perfect.

Thanks guys...

I didn't really need to be shopping this month so I've just ordered an istick TC and IPV D2 from gearbest and the uwell with RBA and a load of coils from myepack.

Anyone fancy a railbox clone? I like it, I just don't use it really!

Hey guys it looks like vapeescape.co.uk are closing down and some nice deals to be had (I have no affiliation) and sorry if it has been posted already.

Just picked up another Ego One mega Tank (my favourite) 2 x 5 pack Ego coils and 1 x 5 pack Kanger coils for my Aero Tank for £30. Saving of £13.50 from the site and comparing it to my local vape store the coils alone would have been £32 so I got the tank for free.

Ah, you've jogged my memory!

Was recommended vtc5s if I could get them. Realised I couldn't so bought vtc4s instead...
I think I got lucky with mine and bought one before they went dry. Loads of fakes around though.

Efest Purple 35A also worth getting.

Bought some spare glass tanks for my subtank and thought I may as well get black. They were 5 for $9.50 on fasttech and so I wasn't expecting them to be genuine but they are and I think it looks great

You can buy pre-made coils but you'd still need to wick them (put the cotton through).

https://www.fasttech.com/search?coils

Try the link above. If it doesn't work, just search for "coils" and they're about halfway down.

Alternatively, if you don't mean the rebuildable aspect of the rba, then you may just mean buying the actual little heads?

Linky - http://myepack.co.uk/kanger-subtank-coil-head.html

Of course, from the above you can shop around but myepack seems to have good standing on here. Obviously I'm not affiliated to either company etc.
