This may sound stupid.

The metal coils you get with a subtank mini rba, can i buy them already wound?

Looking on Fastech i can find them, not sure im up for making them myself.
You can buy pre-made coils but you'd still need to wick them (put the cotton through).

https://www.fasttech.com/search?coils

Try the link above. If it doesn't work, just search for "coils" and they're about halfway down.

Alternatively, if you don't mean the rebuildable aspect of the rba, then you may just mean buying the actual little heads?

Linky - http://myepack.co.uk/kanger-subtank-coil-head.html

Of course, from the above you can shop around but myepack seems to have good standing on here. Obviously I'm not affiliated to either company etc.
Perfect thanks Dizzy, Wicking them im fine with, its just the making the actual metal coil im not sure on.

Still on the original metal coil that came in the kit, i am dry burning them to get some of the rubbish off but its starting to get a little black and bent after a clean and rewick.

Is there a pre built wire you can say works best?

Can't say I ever used a pre-made coil as with a coil jig, it was pretty easy to do myself.

What I would say is that any coils you get pre-made, make sure to take a light to them, or clean them to clear off any crap.

These would do it but they really are easy to build http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-prebuilt-hand-wound-0...

All you need is one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eclipse-P18-4-Terminal-S... (or any 3mm screwdriver/drillbit)

with some of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kanthal-A-1-Resistance-W...

Watch some RipTrippers youtube videos (may want to turn the sound of as he's annoying as anything but shows every step really clearly) and he will show you just how easy it is to make your own

2 months smile That's how long my twisted ni200 coils lasted from Steve on my SoV dripper!!! That's awesome considering it's been used daily with the dna40 for 2 months & rewicked sometimes twice a day! The normal ni200 builds would last one or two rewicks then destroy the builds, wasted loads of wire there. I need to find this drill & make a twisted spool up. Should last me over a year now smile

Thanks again Steve smile

I'll twist you what I have left of ni200 and send it down Dave, probably a lifetimes supply if they're lasting two months! I've moved over to titanium and won't be going back to Ni any time soon.

Bought some spare glass tanks for my subtank and thought I may as well get black. They were 5 for $9.50 on fasttech and so I wasn't expecting them to be genuine but they are and I think it looks great

I loved my Sig 50v2. Whole set-up looks great, nice drip tip!

Much, much easier to work with and coils are far more robust. You have to be very careful indeed when heating the coils initially, but works very well IME. Resistance is far easier to attain compared to ni200, although it's twice the price. Other wires are beginning to come to market for temp control, stainless steel and nife30 - the latest revision of the sx mini has apparently got settings for silver and gold!

Tried the twisted but as it ends up double the length it does not fit on the Kayfun v4.
ni200 I find a pain as the coil only seems to last 10 days or so as after a 3-4 rewicks no matter how delicate I am it still loses shape and even when it does not lose shape it seems to somehow deteriorate and lose its performance.

This Uwell Crown Tank is ace.

http://myepack.co.uk/uwell-crown-sub-ohm-tank.html

Top filling, so no unscrewing from your mod to fill. Running on my istick 30 at 20w with the 0.5ohm coil it's great. Massive airflow too if you want it.

Just an update on my thoughts of the house of liquids tobacco liquids I bought recently -

Cigarillos - This was quite nice, but a bit overpowering. It's not something I would use regularly as it is a bit harsh. A nice realistic chocolate cigar flavour though.

Puros - Didn't really like this, the taste just was a bit odd. Definitely not similar to a cigarette in any way.

Puros Dark - This has a similar taste to some of the tobacco liquids I have had from other brands that are nothing like the real thing so disappointing really.

Guevara - This was far and away the worst liquid of the 4 I bought. Such a strange nasty taste, nothing like a cigarette. Really lingered in the tank despite a thorough clean so when I used a different liquid I could still taste it for a while but thankfully it's almost gone now!

Back to diamond mist liquids for me now, I find that while they are not like the real thing they do have a nicer taste.

That's a shame, have you tried any non tobacco flavours?

Agreed. Looking forward to tying out the TC coils later when my new mods arrive. I think I'll probably order a couple more of these!

Were these from a sample pack or you bought them individually ?
