Istick 40w for £21 delivered; got a grey one for my Mrs delivered on Tuesday, she's over the moon with it; much better build quality than the 20 or 30w versions; it does temperature control, tell them to ignore that http://www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_2...

Aspire Nautilus mini is probably still the best tank for a new vaper, gives a drag similar to a cigarette (my Mrs uses two of them) http://www.boldvape.co.uk/tank-systems/72-aspire-n...

Packets of coils, 1.6ohm was my preference http://www.boldvape.co.uk/atomizer-s/188-5pcs-aspi...

Spare glass for the tank http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Authentic-Nautilus-Mini-...

That's roughly three months worth when changing coils every two weeks - tell them to keep power at 12w max. Just under £55. Newer tank systems are available for similar money, but not really suitable for new vapers IMO.
How long did it take to arrive. I've had 4 ego batteries die on me this week so ordered one of these.

Few questions for a Monday morning...

I picked up a few new bits of kit last week - an Aspire Atlantis 2 and a 40W iStick. Really good combo.

At the moment got a 0.3ohm coil in there and running at 30-40W. But - the junction between the Aspire and the battery gets REALLY hot after a few drags. Is this normal?

Also got a 0.5ohm coil as a spare. What wattage should I run this at?

Cheers

Mine does too, although on a 50w rather than 40w. I usually take it to mean I should put it down for a minute as I've had enough by then! It could be to do with running it on too high a wattage I guess.

In terms of wattage, i find it varies on the juice, but I'm mainly on 25-30 area for most.

The istick? Three days from ordering - I'm on the west coast of Scotland so generally takes an extra day to me. If you're ordering from Bold Vape, pay the extra two quid if you want it quick - their free post option is slow.

I popped into The Vape Emporium in that London today. They wanted £59 and change for one of these. I thought if there was a couple of quid in it I would get one, but I'm not giving them £39 for the convenience.
Thanks for that link, saved me a good few pennies.

I'd just ordered an iStick 20w at £28 from the usual UK suppliers as the thread on mine has stripped after solid use for a year.

Then I saw this thread and couldn't resist the 40w version as well for only £21 so I've ordered that too.

I've got this huge biscuit tin full of vaping crap I've bought over the last couple of years. Batteries, vaporisers, juices, chargers.I've tried sub-ohming and just didn't get along with it.

My favourite kit so far has been a good old full sized Nautilus and an iStick 20w. Maybe replaced by an iStick 40w when it arrives

I really need to have a vaping boot sale session.

My 40w I Stick is also to replace a 20w one on which the thread is rapidly on the way out. Not sure how long I have had it, but it must be at least a year and it gets a lot of use so I have no complaints. Good little bit of kit.

I stick 40w arrived this morning. Gave it a blast on the aspire k1 which on factory 40w settings was a bit much. Around 12w was nice but vape was a bit hot. Popped to local shop and got the aspire mini and its vaping great on 12w.

I can see me getting through a little more liquid now biggrin

I'd say 12w ish is the max for the aspire coils, starts to taste burnt above that, although I used to take very long draws on them. My Mrs really likes her istick 40w, got her a girly pink sleeve for it, I'm in the good books smile

Where abouts are you mate? I've seen a few shops selling fairly decent stuff for 6 bottles for £10. The £1 ones I've tried have been a bit rank

I found the Nautilus tanks to be quite frugal, think I went through 20ml per week - I can do that in a day at times now, especially on holiday or having a bevvy. I make my own now.

The £1 stuff gives me a sore head, my family and friends like it and it's very good quality for the price point - cherry is nice, and I generally don't like cherry flavoured things. There's lots of cheaper liquid makers who sell decent stuff, have a look at drip drop, Hodges Homebrew, Aerovape.

Shopping at Vapeclub Twing?

I've tried cutwoods reserve and it's quite nice, let me know what the donuts like.

I still owe you some juice....

Vapeclub gave me a refund on the faulty subox a few pages back.

Haha! Nope they're at the shop I normally use, guna try the donut stuff, I'll send you a sample if it's any good mate. I've got a sub-tank mini going spare if you fancy? Crack in the glass(but useable if you keep it crack-side up) and the glass is cheap enough to replace smile Ill send it next time I'm off work

I've tried bird brains and unicorn milk, like them both and make a home brew clone of the latter. Would love to try the doughnut, heard good things about it.

Big fan of I Love Donuts - A very unique flavour IMO. Different from all of your run of the mill stuff and has a good throat hit too.

Here's a quick handcheck from the weekend with my new Uwell Crown Tank (which is an absoloute BEAST)
