Thanks for the advice. I bit the bullet today and got a Coolfire 4 with the iSub G tank running a 0.5 ohm. Invested in some higher VG liquids as well at the recommendation of the lady on the shop. Just running at 25w with plenty of airflow
I think the word is WOW. What a difference in cloud, feeling and taste
Good fun but you blow though juice at an alarming rate. If using it for an evening at the pub you will need an extra bottle of juice. You might even need a spare battery as using 25W it may not last the evening. I compromise with the Kanger Subtank by using 1.2ohm coils at 17W I think the word is WOW. What a difference in cloud, feeling and taste
Turn it down to 20W and see how we get on there. Need to get some more higher VG liquids as most of the ones that I have are a bit too low and it seems to be weeping a bit around the air holes

I'm running a Mini Aspire tank with a 1.6ohm BVC coil on an iLeaf 30W. My juice of choice is 18mg Snake Oil.
I find that if I run it at more than around 7.5W, I burn through the coils too rapidly, so I am amazed by the talk of 17W and 25W.
What am I missing?
Sub ohm is the answer I believe. If you move to something like I have just got then the coils are 0.5ohm, which enables you to use the higher wattage. You wouldn't be running 18mg on a sub ohm though, I am using 3mg on mineI find that if I run it at more than around 7.5W, I burn through the coils too rapidly, so I am amazed by the talk of 17W and 25W.

Have a mate that makes his own liquids that are a 90% VG mix so am off to get some off him tonight. The 40% vg ones that I have are pouring out!
Avant Garde do some high and 100% juices for a reasonable price, I am a big fan of their Heavenly Vanila Custard but their fruit flavours are very nice as well.
Just seen that Aspire have released the mini version of the Pegasus and Triton 2 that I am currently enjoying, priced at 55 quid for the set and it also can use the mini nautilus coils as well, might be worth a look for anyone looking for a small battery unit. If it is as good as the full size then it will be really good.

I used the a Kanger subtank mini for a while and no leaking. I think they changed the cotton they use in the coils, so now I get a bit of weeping/leaking from the airflow, especially if you lie it on its side if you have a bottom charging battery like the 30w istick. That is on a 70VG/30PG mix. I got fed up of keep trying juice so now exclusively use http://www.lancashiresteamcompany.co.uk/shop.html
I use Chill Ski and Gunpowder as my everyday vapes but Choddy and Dibners Delight if I want something sweet, but not fruit.

Is it a Nautilus? Rebuildable coils are now available for $9.50:I find that if I run it at more than around 7.5W, I burn through the coils too rapidly, so I am amazed by the talk of 17W and 25W.

Gearbest have got the Wismec Noisy Cricket & Indestructible RDA in stock for anyone who's interested.
Dual 18650 (in series) Mech Mod and a cracking atty by all accounts. A steal at £25. Ordered mine yesterday!

Help a brother out here.
I love the Temperature control Lemo2 I have, for about a day at a time. I buy pre-made Ni coils from eleaf, (only 25p each) and they are wonderfull. However only last 2 days at the most.
Can the Istick 40w do other materials? The coil is too thin to change the cotton.
Or - whats the best atty forTC if I took the plunge and bought wire, jigs and cotton?
Thanks all.

I've been using an MVP2 with an Aspire ET-S for ages now and it's served me well. However I want to upgrade to something a bit smaller (but more powerful?) while retaining the awesome (2 days-ish of heavy use on a full charge) battery life of the MVP2. As juice I buy seems to increasingly be a higher concentration of VG, it's killing my tank.
What should I get? I'm really confused by it all and have no idea what's good and what's not. All this sub-ohm stuff, rba's, variable voltage/wattage, etc.
A big expense for me is coils, I go through about 2 a week and at £8.99 for 5, it's a considerable cost on top of juice etc. I'd like something cheaper to run or longer lasting. I have no interest in building my own though.
I don't want to spend more than £50 on a battery (mod?) and tank. Am I being unrealistic with cost? What am I missing out on by having older tech?
Thanks

Probably going through them as they need a bit more power than 7.5w - I found 11 w done me with Nautilus, my Mrs was 9-10w.I find that if I run it at more than around 7.5W, I burn through the coils too rapidly, so I am amazed by the talk of 17W and 25W.

Currently enjoying my iStick and Mini Nautilus filled with No.71 E-Liquid by Beard Vape Co.
I never thought I'd want or need to upgrade but you definitely get the bug and my local vape shop has some awesome bits of kit he'll spend hours with you trying!
I appreciate this is a basic set up and at £40 all in not the most exciting, but is anyone else getting a little bit of 'gurgling' and occasionally tasting a 'sweet' taste which I assume is a small amount of e-liquid somehow making it's way out of the tip of the Clearomizer (assuming I have the correct terminology).I never thought I'd want or need to upgrade but you definitely get the bug and my local vape shop has some awesome bits of kit he'll spend hours with you trying!
