I go through about 4ml max. Sometimes 2ml.

Depends what's happening on the day. If I'm doing a lot of driving I have on one occasion gone through 6ml.

I have the 1.8 ohm coils just now. Odd thing is that the system as working well and then the flavour all disappeared. Changed the coil and it was still rubbish. The filled the whole tank with water and ran the system with that and it did taste better once I had refilled with eliquid.

I have heard that these coils are not the best. Maybe I should try a different set up.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

If it suddenly went, you may find that it is you rather than the setup... Buy some of this and see if you can taste it.

I moved to sub ohm and was using 90%/100% VG liquids but found that they didn't carry much flavour through. In my experience the PG tends to hold the flavours better

I reverted back to 1.5ohm coils in my Subtank mini and run 50/50 juices and get a lot more flavour with decent cloud and throat hit

I switch between Subtank mini and Nautilus mini on my Coolfire IV running at 12.5/15w
Well after changing multiple coils, going through loads of different juices, messing about with power and air flow etc I think I have solved the issue.

When changing the coil (atomiser?) over again last night I noticed that some ejuice had leaked in to the base of the tank connector i.e. the bit that connects through to the battery and also makes electrical contact with the base of the coil when it is screwed in to place. Deep in that recess is where the juice had leaked.

I gave this a good clean and tried to get all the liquid out using tissue paper. Result is a huge difference in flavour. Oddly before I cleaned it there was just as much vapour, but it just had no flavour, it just tasted burnt and nasty. Guess the liquid was adding a ton of resistance to the circuit and causing poor electrical contact to the coil.

Anyway, all good now I think - until the next mystery issue crops up!

Never heard that one before. There is almost always a bit of juice at the bottom of my tanks like you describe.
The reason I suggested that juice is often muted flavours can be caused by what has become known as vapers tongue.

Managed to snag a very lightly used GP Paps v4 to go with my Snapdragon rda, delighted with both as a pair - this is my lifelong set-up hopefully!

For any of you who fancy trying to make your own juice the lazy way, Avant Garde are now offering a small juice creator on their site.

Linky

Not many flavours to choose from, but their Heavenly Vanilla Custard is as the name suggests, I quite fancy adding Banana to that.

Anyone here on 20+mg juices ?

I am using 24mg and my (UK) supplier told me that after middle of May it won´t be available any more.

Have to stock up seriously and think of an alternative, maybe dual coils and get more vape with less content ?

I don´t want to go the subohm route, am used to a 20W iStick with Mini ProTank2.

24mg...wow. If you tried that in a sub ohm you would cough your guts up.

I used 12mg in a 20w and have a 50w and use 6mg.

How about trying some 20mg juice and see how you go. Or mix it with your 24mg to get a lower level. I have been doing that for two years and currently have 3mg and 1.5mg juice on the go.

I know there's changes coming due to EU law but it's more about regulation than taxation is it not?

That article says different. They want to bring taxation on ecigs closer to tobacco products.

Apparently they want to tax it the same way tobacco is taxed. Be a bit of a price hike if they do!

Will resort to making my own if they do, that's for sure.

Been a while since I've been on this thread... I started vaping nearly two years ago but massively failed a year in and went back to the smokes after getting engaged, moving house, getting married then going on a 3 month honeymoon.

Got to say, I have enjoyed the cigs... but had to knock it on the head again.

Was using an aspire nautilus and eleaf istick 20w which was pretty good... but treated myself to a kanger topbox kit that has the toptank with it.

All I can say is WOW!!! This thing vapes like a champ. Sub ohming is pretty awesome and with some fresh new juices i've been off the cigs for nearly a month again now.

The new kanger gear is pretty fantastic and i am very impressed. I also bought the wife a kanger subvod and she is super happy with that too.

I've only been using it in wattage mode, but tonight will clean it out, fit a ni200 coil and see if i can figure out the temp control.

My new favourite juice is Davinci Decoded. If you like sweet vapes, then you'll love the buttery pecan brule.
