Can be a bit of a pain on some tanks if the dropper nozzles a bit big & small fill up hole, but I just use it as it comes. I always clean out the tank/dripper and fresh coil/cotton though when changing juices smile

Might have a punt when its out.
That looks ace. Just what I need. Did you go for it? It just seems a little dear. Can anyone recommend any decent pocket mods out there?

Choddy is really nice, just a basic bubble gum, vaped on that as my main juice for months.

The Kanger tank you have used to be filled by unscrewing the base. I have three of those tanks and using a dripper was fine. The top fill tank that you have has smaller fill holes, as long as you are not getting juice everywhere go for it.

Either (can't really clean Kanger's premade coils), but it wouldn't hurt to take the tank apart every few weeks (depending on usage) and wash it out with warm water. Obviously that would be a good time to put a new coil in and start a new juice.

You could stick with one tank. I prefer a couple to run different juices. A new battery mod is only £22. This you can swap out batteries if you are out for a day or weekend

Batteries, go to Torchy
http://ukvapers.org/Thread-Torchy-battery-prices

Oh and if you are going to carry batteries buy a case. Some of the horror stories are people carrying batteries in their pockets with keys/change etc and shorting out

Sorry for waffling.

That what I was spending on cigs every week. But once you have a kit you are happy with then its just juice and coils which is peanuts.
I have spent shed loads on kit in the past that I no longer use, but im pretty much sorted with Kanger stuff.

My current go to gear

Thanks Cotty, don't apologise for waffling it's all very helpful smile

If I'm honest, I'm a touch nervous about batteries in the raw. Hence getting the subvod and looking at others with inbuilt batteries like the Cool Fire IV

Literally my only concern with the subvod is running out of battery but 90% of the time I have a phone powerpack with me anyway.

I think I'll grab another Subvod then for a total £60 outlay I'll have 2 tanks and 2 battery's/bottoms which I do feel safer with

Good to hear about the Choddy. I've always wanted a decent BB flavour but they're hard to find that don't faster chemically hoping the LSC stuff achieves that. I'll report back on Brass Nipple when I've tried it thumbup

A battery is a battery, we have all used them for years. The batteries that e-cigs use are no different to any other battery (ok they might be higher drain). I would not put an AA battery in my pocket with keys and change and risk them shorting.

I had a Mk1 Cortina once and I was tightening the negative battery terminal. As I turned the spanner it connected with the positive terminal, didn't do that again.eek

I've been using the Kanger subtank for quite a while on a locally built mod, how do you rate the Kanger mod as also thinking of changing to a couple of those. Does the battery cover come off easily, or is it held in nice and firm?

Its a nice size and fits in the hand well. Lots of adjustment, good screen, USB charging or change batteries. The door is held on with 4 magnets so stays in place The silver colored one wasn't seating correctly and the battery was rattling, I solved that by putting on a silicon sleeve that makes it nicer to hold. You know I like it as I have two of them.

I've just (separately) bought a Coldfire 4 and an iSub G tank. I bought the battery because I wanted something more reliable than the Aspire VV things I've got - had one die completely, current one seems to be losing battery life. Even on identical voltage settings with a mini-Nautilus it seemed to be more pleasant than the Aspire, which makes me suspect that the Aspire is no longer putting out what it says it is.

Then a week later impulse bought the sub-ohm tank because I could. I knew what to expect because they've got a lot of their testers on sub-ohm set ups now.

Quite pleased with it. Currently full of Charlie's Chalk Dust Wonder Worm.

Just got one of the Joyetech AIO units for my wife.... what a cracking little unit it is! Currently she has a 30w Istick and Nautilus Mini, which has done her fine, but thought these looked pretty cool and got her one... Brilliant flavour and really compact...

I have an Atlantis running the triton klapton coils on a 40w Istick and might get another AIO to stick in my pocket for the pub!!

Recent juices that I have enjoyed on the Atlantis are Neon Cream by Lost Fog (Cosmic fog premium brand) and it is sublime... Dark Passenger from Vampire Vapes is still high up my list, as are most of the Cloud Freaks range, with Pink Lemonade being a favourite. Last one was Apple Butter from Liquid State, it went far to quickly... did the 30ml in a few days!!

I tend to get all my juice and hardware now from a vape shop on Hessle Road in Hull called "The Emporium", i have spent so much on juice I don't end up liking, so for about £1.00 per 30ml premium, I get to sample all the flavours!

I like the Puffin Hut in Wootton Basset. It feels like an Apple store or somewhere selling posh cosmetics. I nipped into a place in Blackpool when I was up there and ran out of juice and the ambience was more downmarket bookies / crack den!

My local places are definitely more of the bookie/crack den, saying that the prices are pretty comparable to online from what I've seen and they gave me some good advice and let me try juices so for that and to support a local business I'll give them some more of my custom

I've just relocated to Kilburn with work, The Vape Huts pretty good in town and has some nice juices/decent kit for sale. I bought Beard No.64 & I Love Cookies last week. Both nice but after finding the £1 liquid online I think I'll be shopping here for the for a while and just treat myself now and again to the more premium stuff!

Vape Emporium in Hamersmith also well worth a visit if anyones in London smile

No not gone for it but probably will.
I use the Athena Envy17 from the same place which takes a Kanger Nano tank, its my full time outside vape.
The larger Envy ( think its called the 24)is a bit big for a pocket mod, just thought I would warn you.

Do you find that it sweats inside the silicon cover? I had one on a mod prior, and that used to sweat a lot. I must add though that I live in a tropical country so that could be part of the issue.

I thought it'd more difficult to travel on a plane with these things than it was. Obviously juice needs to be in a clear plastic bag through check-in if only taking hand luggage but battery and tank goes separately into tray in the same way as laptop/tablet etc - not sure why I expected it to be more difficult than this.

The American vaping culture is so different to ours, the have vape bars which seem mostly full late teens seeing how big a cloud they can blow.

Popped in here as it looked like a bar from the activity inside... https://www.facebook.com/Blue-Vapor-Fusion-9121521...
