Seems lord callanan of the house of lords has tabled a motion that could deliver a hammer blow to article 20 of the tpd.

In the region of 2500 signatures needed to reach the target. Please sign people, this is the last chance to get this crock of st overturned.

As I said earlier, I have tried various recommendations from this thread over the months/years. Taste is clearly subjective and never tasted anything that I have been wax lyrical about. That said, I have found that I have pretty much stuck with just one flavour now for a few years in Heisenberg and although occasionally I feel a change might be nice, I do so and then never enjoy the replacement flavour so hence I return. Interestingly, many people in bars that have tried my Heisenberg have gone straight out and bought some.

Even when I have tried shops and tasted various bits I haven't found anything that I particularly enjoy as an alternative. I've pretty much resigned myself to being a one flavour person and no bad thing so long as it keeps my real smoking down to the same level as I have enjoyed for the past few years. I certainly think now if I were to desire to try something else I would do so by visiting a shop rather than taking a punt online as too many of those have been binned. The only shop ones that I have binned have been "emergency" purchases where I was out and had to buy something in haste.
Well, blow me, as Cameron said to the pig. I'd heard good things about Heisenberg so I got some to try in my new Subtank Mini. OK, it was only £1 e-liquid but I found it a big let down.

I noticed during lock n' load that it had a very strong odour and on trying, I found it aggressively sweet and far from subtle. Lets just say it's taken me quite a while to get the tank clean again.

After all this, the tank works fine with Vanilla custard liquid, again from the £1 source. But Hwienberg? Never again, unless it was a disntictly duff mix.

Question for you DIY guys on expiry dates!

I've just found a load of DIY juices I bought back in 2014, expiry date on the Nic base (72mg VG) and 500ml VG/PG bottles is Dec 2015. VG & PG are still clear/no smell but the Nic base has a slight yellow tint but can't say it's much darker than before, no nasty smells.

Flavour concentrates (47 10ml bottles and mostly full!!) most have no expiry dates (Capella & Flavour West) but some from chefs vapour (Capella) says use within 12 months of purchase, this was back in August 2014.

All smell ok.....I think they're fine to use! What do we recon? That's a load to throw out if it's still fine to vape!

I must have odd taste buds!! I really didn't like the £1 Vanilla Custard but have gone through loads of their Heisenberg! Just about to place another order for 100ml of their VG stuff.

For tank cleaning I usually find hot water does the job but for a deeper clean just strip & clean with hot water then leave it in a shot glass of Vodka over night. (Or Gin)

Every tank I seem to get leaks from somewhere. My last aspire Triton which I was told will not leak emptied a tank in my car overnight.

I stopped smoking cigarettes for 6 months but this constant leak issue has put me back on them.

Anyone know of a tank that will not leak on me??

I might have to try the £1 stuff as at the rate I am going through proper Heisenberg I can see it getting expensive at at £1 I am more than willing to take a punt

If you're into sub-ohm stuff I can say that the Uwell Crown hasn't ever leaked for me.

I've been trying a few new juices recently and came across Beard Vape Co. So far tried their cinnamon funnel cake (amazingly flavour hit), sugar peach (just like biting into a juicy route peach) and their vanilla custard (not quite creamy enough to be a custard imo but still very nice). Not cheap juices but so full of flavour, highly recommended.

It's not as good as the real deal - as you allude to above re reference to Pinkman, the "genuine" heisenberg is gloopy and thick - the £1 one far less so, its viscosity is far less and its a slightly harsher taste. However, for a quid its not bad and I tend to mix a bit of the 2.

Problem is that every tank I buy on recommendation that doesn't leak seems to fail on me.

thumbup

The cost of the genuine Heisenberg isnt too much of an issue barring the fact I love it and keep picking the damn thing up to have a vape.

This to be fair was where the LSC stuff worked well as I didnt really like it I was only using it when I needed nicotine rather than enjoying it. Mixing might be a good shout. Or I may just get 4 bottles of Heisenberg and one of Pinkman for £40 biggrin

I mix my own stuff from Vampire Vape, including Heisenburg, I find most require 10-15% of flavour concentrate adding to the mix, except Heisenburg and Black Jack, which even at 10% can be too much flavour. I find the BJ even stronger than the H ....IMHE.

They sell a 200ml Heisenberg concentrate for around £70. Tempted to get this, should last ages with a 15-20% mix DIY liquid smile

I think 250ml premixed Nic base from juice cabin was £6.50 (easy to mix your own then and just let it steep a few days) should be plenty there to last a long time smile

Worth taking a look at this vid, little long winded and a few sweary bits but he breaks down the possible savings if you DIY.....and it's a lot!!

https://youtu.be/0m-cHgU3KBk

Initial outlay's a little high getting everything like your base liquids/flavour concentrates plus the mixing kit, but overall you save a ton of cash DIY.

Beard do great flavours but a lot of their range has tested for diacetyl, which is why I stopped using them.

I'll have a watch I think DIY might be the future.

I've tried the VapeGoo tonight. Had them steeping for a week.

Blueberry Cotton Candy - Zero Blueberry taste. Just a popcorn/burnt taste (maybe this is meant to be the Cotton Candy aspect?) I've popped it back in the cupboard to steel but if it doesn't improve I'll likely bin it

Squeezed Apple - Not unpleasant but it's a bit like vaping air with the merest hint of Apple on the exhale.

At £10 for 90ml I wasn't expecting ground breaking stuff and they may improve with further steeping I am still to try the Razzleberry as well.

But I think Lesson learned, I've now tried more expensive juices in VV Heisenberg and the Wick Liqour, medium in the LSC and cheap with the VapeGoo.

The only ones I liked have been the expensive ones, so no more internet buying for me barring the VV Heisenberg and I'll continue to buy from my local shop as they let me try stuff first and look into DIY

I'm getting some premixed 6mg base from here then start mixing my own (just add your % flavour concentrate to this as its already mixed with the VG/PG ratio you ask for) saves a bit of hassle trying to get the ratio bang on.

http://www.juicecabin.com/e-cig-base-liquids/100-p...

Then get the concentrates from here:

http://www.cloudhousevapor.com/diy/diy-flavors/mou...

I wonder if there'll be a loophole so the juice vendors can sell their liquids as pre mixed flavour concentrates only so no nicotine, then you just mix a big bottle yourself and let it steep a couple weeks. Always a way around it smile
Cheers, read this post then ordered some VG/PG and nic mix along with a few concentrates from juice-cabin on Tuesday evening and they arrived today smile

Also replaced the battery in my coolfire 4 to a Panasonic 3400mah as the original one was degrading a bit after using it hundreds of times as my daily driver for nearly a year.

Now just have to wait for the mixture to steep, has anyone used ultrasonic cleaners to speed it up? Half an hour in one is meant to equate to a week of steeping naturally.
