Yep that's what im doing this week, I only stumbled across the video late last night after purchasing the needles! Still I guess it's handy to have them but the scales look miles easier.

Should save a few quid here, gets expensive when your using a sub ohm tank that gulps the juice down eek
You will save a lot. Stock up on nic base whilst you still can.

Box of goodies arrived today smile

Also worth a look here for a different method of mixing using scales instead of farting around with syringes, just picked up a cheap £4 scale off eBay:

Anyone looking into DIY I also strongly recommend mixing by weight using an accurate scale and a juice calculator. Takes 5 mins to knock up 6mg base/pg/vg which I then use for my mixes in smaller bottles. It is MUCH easier than using syringes.
Interesting as its a right pain trying to reach with a syringe.

It certainly is and the liquids can be quite viscous.

Take a look at

Every tank I seem to get leaks from somewhere. My last aspire Triton which I was told will not leak emptied a tank in my car overnight.

I stopped smoking cigarettes for 6 months but this constant leak issue has put me back on them.

Anyone know of a tank that will not leak on me??
If you're into sub-ohm stuff I can say that the Uwell Crown hasn't ever leaked for me.
I will look into this one further although not keen on its aesthetics. Any other suggestions?

The joyetech cubis is one of the best tanks I've ever used, no leaks whatsoever.

I do like the look of that one. Will investigate further.

My taifun was pretty good but still leaked eventually.

Any other suggestions?

Thing is all these tanks etc need airflow. If air can get in juice can come out. What I have found is if you use a tank on a regular basis the cotton will hold the juice ready for the next vape. You press the fire button the juice in the cotton gets vaporised and new juice slowly seeps into the cotton. Leave it too long then the juice seeps through the cotton and finds an exit.

This is likely the problem. The aspire cleito was also recommended in a vape shop but I'm not sure how much faith I have in it as my aspire triton pissed the juice out in no time when 2 friends had no trouble with theirs.

Maybe I do something to them.

Every tank I own leaks, I'm back using my old Rose v2 rba's now and these don't seem to leak as much as my Taifuns but with these you can close the juice control right down, take a few puffs to use up some juice in the well, then close the airflow control off so I haven't had any leaking in a fortnight or so.

Cracking bit of kit, by far the best I've got for flavour but their a pain to rebuild.

I've got the Crown & Theorem coming from FT, the Crowns mant to be very good so worth a look.

Washing the car the other night with my eleaf 50w on hoodie pocket. It fell out of pocket and straight into the bucket.

They don't like water. I put in in rice overnight and the display did come back on. But its not working as it wont take charge and says Low battery, but when its on charge the battery symbol shows full but still won't work.

Maybe this is a sign to pack up vaping.

Folks can anyone help?

I've recently starting using the aspire mini nautilus again after I posted here a couple of weeks ago having used the aspire ets for a while. I keep getting serious gurgling and spits of juice in my mouth which is pretty rank.

I've tried replacing the coil twice and thoroughly cleaned, does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'm using an Istick 30 at 8 watts.

Thanks.

Could be a batch of duff coils, had a few faulty aspire coils but these usually burn if they're bad. Try opening the airhole to its widest, hold some kitchen roll under the tank with the airhole facing down and give it a few hard blows, this should push any juice out the coil & through the airhole then try vaping it again.

Following on from the 'Miracle or menace' programme. Where they were doing the 'aerosol' tests, there was a bearded fellow emitting astonishing amounts of vapour and I thought, how? Just gone sub ohm with a subtank mini, on my istick TC40 but, even with high VG juice, the amount of vapour seems to be lacking. Not that I want to do an impression of the Flying Scotsmen you understand.

You probably need a few more watts, mind you I get clouds a plenty at 50w.

Anyone interested in a 1 week old Sigelei Fuchai 200w TC mod?

It's in perfect nick but not needed anymore as my Sig 213 has just arrived.

After a year of vaping and off the fags heres my atomiser/Tanks leakage report (All have rebuildable decks)

Kanger Subtank and Subtank Mini, Both brilliant, No leaks ever, These were the first i bought and still the best.

Aspire triton, Occasionally very small amount out of airholes after filling, A quick blow through sorts it, Doesnt leak in use, Nice upmarket looking tank.

Eleaf Lemo 2, Small leaks as above, A bcensoredd to get apart (I think the coil heat welds it together..biggrin)

Clouper A1 RTA, Avoid, Leaks like a sieve out the airholes, Cant dismantle the base to find out why, Given up using it.
