I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a suitable e-cig setup? I'm a weekend smoker, I'll have a few cigs on a weekend after a couple of drinks. I'd rather not smoke though, and I can vape indoors. I used to have a disposable one which was OK but not quite the same. Is there anything out there that is realistic, fairly small in footprint (i.e. cigar sized) and reasonably priced for the occasional smoker? Any suggestion for suitable oil - I smoke full strength cigs so high nicotine content preferred.

Cheers, they look good! Got any thoughts on the oil? My mate recommended this stuff, looks pricey? Perhaps you get what you pay for?http://www.joyetech.com/product/ego-aio/?age-verif...

Never heard of them! https://www.blacknote.com/
Just to give a rough idea your usually looking at £4.50 for a 10ml bottle of decent eliquid (give or take) I've tried the more premium stuff and it's very hit & miss, some of the very cheap liquid I've found is also really nice or absolutely gipping so you need to try a few out) a lot of the eiquid recommended here & the Vape forums are loved/hated so its down to personal taste really.
What Flavours do you fancy?
Tobacco flavoured stuff I've found Manabush to be 99% spot on and have a tobacco based flavour Powow is nice.... but there's LOADS of stuff to try from fruity/menthol/custards/creams/milkshakes etc etc. If you can get to a local Vape shop it's worth spending a good hour just trying all the flavours out, grab a bottle to keep you off the cigs for a few days then find what you liked from the shop online (usually cheaper online)
If you list what flavours you like/fancy trying we can help out a little better
I haven't really found anything resembling a cigarette taste mate although there are some juices that say L&B, B&H etc, tired a few and they were nasty, but I mainly smoked cigars or the odd menthol, I tried for ages to find something similar to Marlbro Ice Blast and come close with HALO Sub Zero juice (blows your socks off!! Very good menthol!!!!) but for me the breakthrough with ecigs was realising you can't really replicate that cigarette taste as its burning tobacco, so tired a load of different flavour juices out and haven't looked back since bar one or two cigs if we go to a wedding and I'm pissed!
I'd give Manabush a try and see how you get on, but highly recommend trying the local Vape shops to get a better idea of what's out there now. Some fantastic juices to try out
For your nicotine level, you might find some 18mg juices are too harsh on certain devices/tanks especially some sub ohm tanks (tanks with coils below 1 ohms) so (just a rough idea here) a 18mg juice might be fine with something like an Aspire Nautilus tank with 1.6 or 1.8ohm coils but will be too harsh on a sub ohm tank with 0.5ohm coil, so better off with a lower nic base juice at say 6mg as these usually need more watts to get then going, then vice versa a 6mg won't be enough on the nautilus. Still trying to explain this to the other half but it's not sinking in!! Either not getting enough of a nicotine hit or she's coughing her guts up!!!!

I'd recommend the T18 :

With a quality juice like:

Maybe start with the 12mg...
Question for all... how much life are you getting out of your coils?
I've been vaping a good couple of years & it's taken that long to find an e liquid I really like. However it must be a bit sensitive as the flavour only lasts for around 1 tank with each vape set up I use.
Currently run a nautilus, nautilus mini (both regular 1.6 coils) & kanger subtank mini (0.5 coils). The mini I can get 1 refil before it goes. Finding I have to switch to a stronger flavoured liquid to get an extra tanks life out of each coil but even then that familiar slightly burnt taste we all know so well starts slowly appearing.
Liquids I'm using are 'the vial' range 50/50 veg pg. very thin liquids not sure if that makes a difference?
All the tanks are thoroughly cleaned each time they are empty & I even put the coils in the nautilus's in with pliers (carefully) to make sure they're super tight. Batteries are run at the correct temperatures for each set up but just feel this doesn't seem right to be going through coils so damn fast!
Advice, ideas or just knowing how long everyone else is getting out of their coils much appreciated

Sub ohm might be a bit racy for a first timer... also bear in mind you'll need a very low nic mg with a .6 coil.
A year ago I'd have said the same thing and recommended something like the nautilus mini & istick30 but these sub ohm tanks have come along way and seem for be the 'thing' these days for flavour & vapour production. And mods have gone into overdrive recently!! Not a massive fan myself and prefer rebuildables or drippers and build above 1ohms but still use a few of my sub ohm tanks now and again, these tanks have just gone nuts recently, they're everywhere, some are really good though to be fair, just not really for me. I'm enjoying this Crown tank but keepreaching for my Rose V2 for a smoother vape.
Also a lot of the juices I've bought recently seem to max out at 6mg & thicker VG, I struggled to find decent juice at the local
Vape shop above 6mg unless it was the cheaper 3 for £12 stuff. Plus they kept trying to punt the sub ohm tanks on me!

Nautilus's around 8.5 watts & subtank mini around 25 watts. Well within what's recommended I think? I'd like to turn the nautilus's up a bit really
You're spot on with the wattage on the Nautilus so you shouldn't have any problems. For the Subtank, try and bump the wattage up to 40-50w, most of the sub-ohm coils don't like low wattage and get gunked up, especially if you use the sweeter juices.
As Griffin alluded, most juices are now geared towards sub-ohm so aren't really available above 6mg which is a shame and WILL begin to put people off as the cost of vaping will approach the cost of cigarettes.
Personally I reckon it's a bit of a scam this sub-ohm business, the amount of juice I get through is ridiculous and it's costing me loads. I don't care much for blowing clouds everywhere which is what sub-tanks do so my next set of coils will be 1.2ohms, meaning more battery life and less £££ on juice.

Are these the vial from Hawaii I think ? Used to be my absolute favourite but the worst coil gunking juice I've ever had, it was these juices that made me switch to diy ejuice for coil life. Running the 0.5 ohm coils at around 30 watts in my Subtank Plus I get around 7-10 days out of them using 80% VG juice. I normally change them when I notice the flavour dropping off rather than there being a burnt tasteI've been vaping a good couple of years & it's taken that long to find an e liquid I really like. I'm using 70% VG juice from OFE at 18 watt with a Kanger 1.5 coil in a subtank nano... it's working well for me at the moment. I have a couple of TFV4 tanks with .5 coils and I don't enjoy the vape as much. The draw is too loose/free and I haven't found the sweet spot with them - annoying as I bought so many coils!! I've tried the 1.2 coils too and still no good.

Same here really, I prefer a long smooth draw and find the sub ohm tanks are a bit too much for me, haven't the lungs for it! But really need to to try this crown tank with a better mod with more oomph, this dna40 isn't up to it...needs a remap . (getting maybe an hours use at 40w in TC mode!!) and I can feel it needs more power to get it really going, so I might give the IPV6 a go next month. Looks nice plus does everything I want. This gold Clapton coil is really good though in here, chucking the flavour out.My Smok Micro goes to 80 watt - I might take a peek at the tanks you mention.
The crowns 100% worth a look, it's the best sub ohm tank I've got out of the 4. Rose v2 is just fantastic for flavour and gives the smoothest vape out of everything I've got here, but a right ball ache to rebuild. Theorem tanks flavour is just excellent and imo better then any dripper I own...gets very hot though and gulps the juice down so 2ml goes in no time, I've stuck a Clapton build in here but might stick the notch coil back in when I get a better mod.
Thanks for all the responses so far
My strongest battery is a 30w I stick so will try cranking it up to max as suggested for the sub tank.
Yep these are the vial from Hawaii by far the nicest juice ive found. I'm obsessed with blushing cherries. But thinking back to the huge variety of stuff I tried before i found these I could go weeks without changing a coil.
I think I'm going to keep using these for the subtank but try & find something else for the nautilus's. It's going to be hard though as really not a fan of much else & I have spent many an hour at various shops trying everything. if anyone knows a good cherry flavour please post it!

I think if you want to keep using the vial juices (and they do taste lush)to save money on coils you need to look at a rebuildable tank, there is an RBA you can get for the subtanks which is what I used to use. I just got fed up with rewicking and dry burning so often with those juices. My strongest battery is a 30w I stick so will try cranking it up to max as suggested for the sub tank.

eGo AIO just arrived. It is tiny compared to my Kanger topbox set up. Light as well, perfect for popping in a suit pocket.
OK I need help. I just can't seem to get my ego AIO to work properly. I have been vaping for a couple of years, I kind of know how things work. Been trying to use it for at least a week, I pre primed the coil, filled it below the fill level to prevent leaks, charged the battery and it just gurgles to hell, gets really hot after a few puffs and today it was lying on its side in my pocket and leaked.Literally as I was typing that I reached for it and worked perfectly. I don't get it, its like there is a sweet spot on the airflow and when you hit it its great, anything else a gurgly mess.
