After 4 years my Provari Mini is in need of replacement due to the thread being knackered. Does anyone have any recommendations? It needs to use 18350 batteries as I have loads of them, and 510 fitting for Nautilus Mini tanks.
I'm not really interested in sub ohm etc, just a decent basic unit.
If needs be will get another Provari but they aren't cheap at £180. Had a quick look online but tbh I'm baffled by a lot of what's on offer now compared to a few years ago!
Any suggestions/advice appreciated smile

My daily is now the Kanger Kbox 160 stainless. I had a 70w Innokin Coolfire 4 before and it was nice but wanted more power and the Kanger is only slightly larger yet has double the capacity.

The Kbox 160 is the smallest dual 18650 mod I've seen and feels quality, I use it with decent Sony cells and it puts out 140w safely and doesn't overheat, the tank I use is the Isub Apex as it takes TC coils and has never leaked on me even when it's been upside down in my bag all day.

I don't like using Delrin driptips, prefer glass as they cause the vape to condense on the glass rather than the outside of your lips which is better imo.

Sub ohm might be a bit racy for a first timer... also bear in mind you'll need a very low nic mg with a .6 coil.

I'd recommend the T18 :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Innokin-Endura-T18-Starte...

With a quality juice like:

http://www.vapeclub.co.uk/old-fashioned-elixir-e-l...

Maybe start with the 12mg...
Hi NDA, I took your recommendation in the end and got the T18. Haven't tried it yet, but I have a couple of questions, as they weren't really covered in the owners manual.

First of all, how high should I fill the tank with the liquid? I've filled it to where the top of the window is. It doesn't really say - it just says "don't over-fill".

Secondly, when should you top up the liquid? How low should it go?

Another shout out for Craggy's juice here. The Summer Dream is amazing. My favourite juice ever, I think.

Filling: never fill all the way to the top. To the top of the window or just above will be OK. If you overfill it will leak due to pressure.

Low: Never below the lowest wick hole. You need juice to be able to get to the wick at all times or you'll get dry hits.

18350 VW mods are quite rare these days with everyone opting for 18650 & 26650 for MORE POWAARRRRR

There are a few about though - something like this might not be a bad gamble at only £25ish https://www.fasttech.com/products/3032/10010520/51...

Side note, I recently picked up an Aspire K3 tank and it is great - uses the nautilus/triton coils (1.8 claptons are so nice for MTL!) but brings the looks up to date compared to the nautilus mini and doesn't need pliers to get it undone for a re-juice. Mine was £11 from a B&M so well worth it although there is no airflow adjustment if that bothers you.

Got myself a tiny little iStick Pico this week, single 18650, 75W and possibly too small for my hands. I was having to use the Cruis on my Sigelei 100W which barely fits in pockets so this is a welcome change

Trying to pick up a Goblin Mini V2 to go on top or something similar

Love mine, got the Kanger Top Tank Mini on top now as the Melo tank it came with was just too small

Talking of smaller pocket devices, has anyone here tried the istick basic AIO?

i have the pico and also the istick.

i find the istick is always firing in my pocket so burns out coils ( i dnt turn it off)

All of my devices were in my pocket a couple of weeks back when i fell off the back of punt. The Pico worked for a bit and then conked out...into airing cupboard and it fired up, but wouldn't stop! Left it for a couple of days and now is working fine.

This is my latest, the joyetech egrip 2. The tank is integrated and is similar in design to the cubis and uses the same coils. It comes with an adapter so you can use external tanks aswell. Bit of a gimmick but it even has a clock. Great little mod.

Cheers. I've been topping it up when it gets half way but that is useful to know.

Quite impressed with the Tobeco Super Mini tank! Local vape place recommended it and it's been a trooper so far.

Has anybody tried both the Aeronaut dripper and the 1:1 clone version from Tobeco? They look identical. Thinking of getting the clone for £20 then a set of genuine airflow tubes to go with it if they fit? Just to whack in a few mad builds to try out smile Looks a really good dripper, 10ml juice well, loads of airflow options & post holes are big enough for some fancy wire

That looks quite neat.

I bought myself the Aspire Plato last week after having tried (and failed) with the AIO Nebox about 6 months ago (leaked like a bugger).

Plato seems well made, no leaks and for a mouth to lunger like me can be run on standard coils as well as the fancy ones for direct hits.

Can anybody recommend me some 80% VG juice to try? I've tried some stuff from the USA but it knackers the coils in a few days and gives me a hellish cough, so UK only suppliers is what I'm after. I've tried most of the popular makes, and I don't mind paying reasonable cash for it if the product is good.

All the flavours everybody seems to really like are too high in PG for my taste. I'm still contemplating DIY as I could mix up enormous batches as I'm quite a heavy user, but it's finding a flavour/flavours I like so I can switch them around.

Try Craggy Juice. They are 70VG/30PG, but it's the smoothest vape I've ever had. Lovely stuff. My fave is the Summer Dream, but others are good too depending on your preference. Even my girlfriend, a part-time vaper at best, has taken to it.
