The base on my TFV8 is getting quite hot when used heavily so I've ordered some heat sinks which fit between the mod and the tank. Supposed to help with this issue. I'll update with how I get on.

Can anybody recommend me some 80% VG juice to try? I've tried some stuff from the USA but it knackers the coils in a few days and gives me a hellish cough, so UK only suppliers is what I'm after. I've tried most of the popular makes, and I don't mind paying reasonable cash for it if the product is good.

All the flavours everybody seems to really like are too high in PG for my taste. I'm still contemplating DIY as I could mix up enormous batches as I'm quite a heavy user, but it's finding a flavour/flavours I like so I can switch them around.
I'm not certain they are UK based but Wick Liquor have one of the best juices I have ever tried (and I am quite fussy) its called Boulevard, not cheap at £13 for 30ml but its honestly gorgeous, 80% VG as well, I have another of theirs to try this week called Contra

Currently have a cupboard full of Wick Liquor stuff, and I'm currently vaping Boulevard! It's nice stuff but I'd like a bit of variety as well as I get bored quite quickly!

Try Craggy Juice. They are 70VG/30PG, but it's the smoothest vape I've ever had. Lovely stuff. My fave is the Summer Dream, but others are good too depending on your preference. Even my girlfriend, a part-time vaper at best, has taken to it.

It's the smoothness I'm after, don't like a throat hit at all (same as when I smoked). Will give them a try and see how I get on, I couldn't live with the 70/30 stuff I bought from Lancashire Steam Co which pushed me into 80/20 but no harm in trying

What Nic level are you using?

Have you tried:

https://novavapes.co.uk/ - They have selectable ratios
http://www.norsemanvapoursupplies.co.uk/pages/cust... - Offer custom mixing if their ratios are not to your liking.
https://www.vampirevape.co.uk/e-liquid/vg-range.ht... - offer a VG range
http://www.cloudhousevapor.com/american-made-juice... - OK I know they're in France and they are US juices but I use them a lot and like (I actually now buy the concentrates and mix myself) but Mount Baker Vapour from Cloudhouse offer mixed ratios so you can choose (there are butt load of flavours too).
http://goldfishsauce.co.uk/ - High VG
http://onehitwondereliquid.com/product-category/e-... - I know, again US Juice but these are supposed to be the tits.
http://molejuice.uk/shop/ - 70/30 and money goes to charity.
http://e-juicestore.co.uk/ -70/30
http://sleekitjuice.mysimplestore.com/ - 70/30

I have found that most vendors will mix you something if you ask nicely.

Also I've found the longer you let stuff sit in the cupboard before using the better it gets too.

That reminds me I need to order another 100ml of Joast. Gone though nearly 200ml so far, its my all day vape.

6mg, I was on 12 then 9 for about 4 months but I'm slowly weening myself off it, tried loads at 6mg but it's getting something that's smooth and not tearing my throat to bits that I find difficult

Worth trying 3? I got a new juice from my local vape shop at the weekend but they only had it in 3mg, I haven't found any negative effects and its a lot smoother, I will likely buy all my juices in a 3 now.

AFAIK the nic level has an effect on throat hit as well as the PG level hence me saying

I didn't enjoy direct to lung vaping until I switched to 3mg juice in my tanks & drippers. I still like 6mg for MTL with a bit of menthol but 6MG in big clouds is just too harsh. It might mean you end up vaping more (I ended up DIYing my daily juice because of this) but it leads to a much more enjoyable vape IMO.

After a big hiatus from this thread (vaping long enough the 'hobby' side had been forgotten), I've been struggling a little with my yihi sx mini setup, and had been hitting the fags...

Combination of stress, and frankly a life that has been far too busy to stress over a smoke or two.

Well, after umming and ahhing over the new (with temp control!) billet box (still my first and only vaping love), I popped into a new vapeshop in Chichester to see what they had.

Ended up walking out with an Aspire Plato and a bunch of ni200 mini nautilus coils. Top little bit of kit. Functionality wise, it's everything I want from a mod. Small, powerful, temp control, high juice capacity, etc. Nowhere near as well built as the BB, but I could buy six for the price of one!

Any lovely new juices worth considering? Gone right off the Lancashire Steam Company ones, back to my old faithful Snake Oil...

Wick Liquor for me as mentioned above, by far and away the best I've tried to date, only had Boulevard so far but about to start on Contra this evening

I've taken to only buying from my local shops as the price difference is negligible and I've wasted so much buying online to find out they had no flavour or I didn't like the flavour if it was present

Their Muffin Man is the best juice I've ever tried, on the right atty set-up it's mouth-wateringly good!

There's a pretty serious amount of sucralose in their recipe which clogs up coils a good-un. I personally don't like the taste as it's just sweet air to me rather than a specific flavour but I've got friends that get through lots of it and just re-wick often to counter the sticky black coils

I've had this lovely kit for a couple of weeks now - Innokin Coolfire IV TC100 mod with iSub V tank.
Currently vaping Vanilla Custard from onepoundeliquid and it's pretty tasty. Their high VG Heisenberg clone is better but you can't go wrong for a pound! lick

It's my first sub-ohm set-up and I'm really pleased with it. I think my next purchase will be a Uwell Crown 2 based on recommendations on this thread of the original model and a lot of rave reviews on Youtube of the 2. Has anyone got their hands on one yet?

New tank arrived which I bought due to the hype (Smok TFV8) but it's leaking and pretty quickly as well frown
Think it maybe that it's because I added some juice to each coil before I screwed it back into the tank or perhaps an o-ring isn't seated properly? Such a shame as the clouds it produces are literally fog machine standard and that's with only 160w, it can do double that.

Weird. Neither of my TFV8s leak a drop. Are you sure they're not knock offs? I had a TFV4 that leaked like a tt and when put side by side with my previous TFV4 it looked like it wasn't genuine.

Help please vapers smile

Having on and off vaped for a bit I bought an ego AIO from recommendations on here. It's a brilliant device but....

Having used it for a day with no problem then left it for 2 days, each time I take a hit now it pops really loudly.
I've checked it, cleaned it, still using the same juice, not overfilled. But no. Big loud pop each time. It's slightly better if I dial down the airflow but not really.

Any suggestions please? I know the pop may be 'normal ' but it didn't do it before and is unusable to me if it does!

Thanks smile
