Hi All,

Bit of advise if anyone has any about Thailand. I'm heading there next month and had my jabs last night at the docs. She told me Vaping is Illegal in Thailand with some pretty strong penalties.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Cheers

John
It was all good when I went there a year or so ago, things can and do change pretty quickly though.

Saying that, found this https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comm...
and
https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comm...

But then this place seems to show that all is alive and well... https://www.thailandvapers.com/threads/emergency-e...
Thanks for the info I've found similar things some say you will be fine. Others say up to ten years in a Thai jail!!!!! I'm not sure what to do but think I'll just risk it and be sensible

Cheers

No problem, I think as long as you are a bit careful you'll probably be OK. Just don't try and get through security with a load of mods/batteries on you.
Maybe one small device for holiday or something like that.

Personally recommend the Innokin Cortex kit, about £40 and comes with everything you need. Personally I don't get on with sub ohm, just makes the vape too hot, so I got some 2ohm isub coils to go with it. At 2ohm and 13 watts, the battery lasts several days so I've not felt the need to get a second. This setup is quite advanced so as you learn what everything means you can use the additional features (or not, like me). Top fill tank saves much hassle. Recommended the same setup to a guy at work and he seems just as happy as me, he's running the various sub ohm coils that came with it though.

Another starter recommendation is the ego aio, I've not tried it but people rave about it. Expect you may grow out of it quickly though.

I switched over using an Endura T22, it did the job fine for me. Battery is good, holds plenty of liquid etc. Cheap too.

My suggestion would be buy a cheap £10 kit from a petrol station and make sure you get on with the concept first - i.e. does it satisfy your fags urge enough that you reduce or stop smoking.

Once you know vaping is right for you, invest a bit more in some decent kit, and start expanding your flavours out a bit too!

Don't worry mate - some of us have been vaping years and still don't know all the techie stuff that people refer to!

One of these and some liquid will do a great job to get you off the mark

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Authentic-Joyetech-e-Go-...

Battery built in, tank built in. Comes with a coil in it (and a spare). When it starts tasting burnt (usually after about 4 weeks use) just unscrew the coil and replace.

To start using, charge it, fill the top bit with e-liquid and off you go.

As a simple starter kit I would suggest one of these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Joyetech-All---One-E-Ciga...

Simple, easy to use, small.

Quick point on the ego AIO - the non-silver ones are apparently made of more plastic material prone to breaking as against the silver one. I have no experience of this - just what friends have told me.

Took a delivery of an order from onepoundeliquid the other day.

So far have tried choco-nana, strawberry milk and banana flavour. In comparison to all the other liquids I've bought elsewhere in this sort of flavour these are not very good in my opinion. Choco-nana was bad enough I tipped it out and cleaned out the tank to get rid of it.

A strong chemical flavour makes them seem very artificial and not very good at all for that reason.

The mint flavours on the other hand are perfectly servicable and frankly for £1 /10ml I won't be buying mint from anywhere else.

Their Heisenberg tastes exactly the same as VV version. Pineapple and Orange are also pretty good. Cherry and lemon/lime best avoided.

Choco-nana is the most horrendous flavour I have ever tasted. Like vaping warm Tia Maria!

I prefer the £1 liquid to VV Heisenberg but you do get a fair bit of VV concentrate if you diy smile

I don't think the Heisenberg is anywhere near as good as the Vampire one. The viscosity appears to be very different.

I tried the £1 liquid Choc 'n' Nana and binned it fast...'orrid stuff.

I also tried the Heisenberg and it made me wonder what all the fuss was about. Very strong flavour and chemically...to took a lot of washing of my kit to lose the taste.

Banana is nice but the Vanilla Custard really doesn't taste or either, or of anything much.

Chaps. Tanks

I've got the Melo 3 Mini that came with my Pico and also a Kanger Tank that came with my Subvod Mega (Think it's the Topfill Mini maybe?)

So Melo 3 was ok but a bit small and a bit lacking in flavour

Topfill was fine but recently it seems to be popping coils like nobodys business, I'm using .5 Ohm SSOCC ones bought from a Vape Shop so they should be genuine. Priming them like normal but they just start tasting stty and go bang after a week or a few days.

The Aspire ones I use in the Melo last a lot longer so I don't think it's lack of priming

So can anyone recommend a tank that will fit a Pico that will give good vape and flavour? I've seen Clieto? Mentioned and maybe a Smok TF4?

In my opinion the Cleito is hands down the best for a combination of price, flavour, vapour production, coil life and reliability

Often under £14 on Amazon these days too with Prime delivery!

Cheers, after a fair amount of reading last night it had come down to this one or the Uwell Crown, so will grab a Cleito tomorrow (just need to check it will definitely fit on the Pico first)

Crown 1 doesn't fit... go on, ask me how I know.

Now reviews are coming up for the 2 I think I'm going to go and get one of those.

hehe

This is why I am going to take a £3 hit on the Amazon price and get the Cleito from my local Vape Shop as I can check first

Shame about the Crown 1 but makes my decision somewhat easier, don't suppose you've had a Cleito on the Pico?
