Guys, whatever coils you are buying note that somewhere like fasttech often sells them miles cheaper than high street or amazon price.

Only downside is occasional long delivery times but if you plan ahead that doesn't have to be a problem.

Although to be fair the post brexit GBP slump has reduced the benefit somewhat.

Ahh that does look interesting. I picked the Cleito up today, fits very well on the Pico

Was doing some reading about priming coils etc to make sure I am doing it right and I think I am, then I stumbled onto things about breaking them in

So I normally run at 30-40 watts depending on the juice. I have always primed my coils, let them sit in a full tank for a bit then gone straight in at 30 watts.

So is this wrong? Reading up it seems I should be starting really low (like 10-15w) and building up over a couple of days to 30-40, do any of you guys do this?

On sub ohm coils I juice them up through the air holes/top then fill the tank, fit the coil and do a couple dry pulls then leave it 5/10 mins, couple dry pulls again then start off very low watts and build up.

Have had a load of bad coils though but these were mainly on the Aspire Nautilus,

Ok cheers, that's what I have been doing previously just wanted to make sure I was doing things right. Tbf I think starting the coils straight off at 35w might not have helped so I started my new Clieto one at 15 and have worked up to 25 through the evening and will ramp it up to 35-40 during the day tomorrow

(It's producing similar clouds at 25 to what the Melo was at 45 so itching to see what it does at 40 ish)

I run the 0.4 Cleito coils at 50w straight out of the packet with no issues

Ahh ok sweet, good to know

Loving how airy the tank is. With both my previous tanks I'd open the airflow to the full setting and it'd just about be a loose enough draw for me, with this so far I've actually shut it halfway.

If you're still undecided I can confirm it fits beautifully on the Pico and is quite simply awesome, so airy and the flavours are amazing. It's akin to when you get new headphones and have to listen to your whole music catalogue again, I'm itching to try all my flavours again as there is just so much more there

Almost nailed it. Have not smoked in 841 days. Dropped the nicotine level down to 3mg on a 70vg/30pg mix.I don't use during the day, it Its more an enjoyable thing to do with a beer or two rather than needing it. Will try 1.5mg and maybe zero nicotine after.

Can someone recommend a replacement for green smokes. I like how it actually tokes like a cigarette and you get the throat hit. I don't really like the ones you breath straight in. Green smokes have stopped selling in the UK and the replacement batteries from magic mist are useless.

I don't know what green smokes is, but the one I have (innokin cortex kit) I bought specifically because it is good for mouth to lung, which is still my preferred method. About £40 for the kit from Amazon

Bought a Pico Mod this week and was slightly disappointed to see that my Crown tank doesn't fit it!

Any suggestions for something comparable that will fit? The Celito seems popular at the moment?

So far have tried choco-nana, strawberry milk and banana flavour. In comparison to all the other liquids I've bought elsewhere in this sort of flavour these are not very good in my opinion. Choco-nana was bad enough I tipped it out and cleaned out the tank to get rid of it.
Choco-nana is the most horrendous flavour I have ever tasted. Like vaping warm Tia Maria!
Yeah I spent about a tenner on the £1 vape site and funnily enough I thought choconana was one of the less offensive ones. That's not to say it was nice, but the others were just hanging, apart from, as you say, the mint. The vanilla custard one just tasted of eggs. Ugh! Ugh! just thinking about it is upsetting me.

I wish the Halcyon Haze ones weren't quite so expensive as I really like their range especially the Sargent Vapour rhubarb flavour and the Gin's Addiction gin cocktail flavour. But, >£10 for 15ml, ouch.

Well I got myself an indestrucible RDA. I've just spent some time building it for the first ever time, coiled a few RBA sections in the past but never a dripper.

Wow.

Using a 0.5ohm Twisted 28GA coil (single for the time being will try dual another time).
It's ridiculous the amount of flavour I'm getting and that's compared to my new TFV8 baby. All on a pico at about 40 watts at the mo, will ramp up a bit and see how it goes.

Just stuck a dual coil build in the Aeronaut....bit of a pain to work with this SS Clapton as its so springy but fk me it's good!!!!!!!! Never been a dual coil fan but this really brings the flavour out. Can't see a bloody thing here it's so foggy!!! Just using my istick50 here and it's fine, I'm holding off for the P4Y IPV6x to get sorted smile

I'll be honest, I cheated a bit with the coils as I just wanted to try to see if I liked it.
