Looks nice.

Do you reckon replaceable batteries are better than having a built in one? Although that one looks like you can recharge the batteries within it. I'm in the market for a smaller mod than my Smok R80.

Edit: Just bought one. smile

Good choice! Yes I do think it's better - you can carry a spare battery with you and pop it in where ever you are! it's all well and good carrying a USB external charger with you but most devices don't recommend you use it while it's charging or charge it over night so there's part of the day where you're unable to use it at all!

Have you bought a 26650 battery or two? So much more battery life than an 18650. I can recommend AWT 4500mAh from ecolux on ebay but these are my first 26650s so I'm bias

Best external charger I've found is this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xtar-VC4-Battery-Charger-... works really well with clear indication of the charging sitch of each battery

I bought two 26650 batteries and a charger.... everything arrived today and they're just charging now. I unwrapped it all 10 minutes ago.

Batteries and charger were:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01I3T4FYQ/ref...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01L6Z7PJG/ref...

The device looks much nicer to handle and I'll be interested to see how long the battery lasts. I assume the USB on the mod is not for charging these huge batteries?!

No I wouldn't recommend charging through the USB, I think it's for connecting to EScribe only (If you've got windows PC, you can do all sorts of fun things with the chip using this software)

My battery is lasting more than a day very easily at the moment but only vaping at 35W (0.3ohm coil)

Has anybody bought the Ipv6x yet? I think this will be my next mod but I'm holding off until they sort some niggles out.
I was thinking about one of these, sad to see there is a reverse polarity defect with a recall:

https://spinfuel.com/pioneer4you/

I'll probably not bother now which is a shame as it's just what I was after, 2 x 18650, tc and small size

I think it's version 1.5 that's had everything fixed, I'll hold off a while longer until it's confirmed though and they stock up. Looks a cracking mod and does everything I want. My dna40's on its last legs now and I'm not even getting an hours use out of it, plus doesnt do SS TC only nickel and I'm using SS Clapton's now on my mods but only in power mode....really good smile

I wasn't at all impressed with it. As I say, now using the Aspire Plato and much better execution of the same concept.
Bought the Plato on your advice. Most impressed with it. Much better than the Nebox piece of st.

Pleased to hear that Dunc. I am, some 3 months down the line, still as impressed as day 1. Minimal leakage and still a great flavour having been through a couple of coils since. Sat here in sunny Rhodes puffing merrily away on it smile

Anyone tried/can recommend a temp control squon+ker?

Getting massively fed up with the crap flavour from the aspire plato with the juices I like, don't want to go back to my yihi/triton combo due to size, so thinking of something like the Lost Vape Therion...

Love the yihi at home with Druid rda, and want something similar with juice capacity.
Any decent TC squonker will make your yihi/triton seem tiny! I've got a Steamcrave SquonkMod and it's essentially as big as the old Sigelei 150w models that are dual 18650 - time you fit a bottle/battery/chip they come out some size, Therion is no different (had been eyeing one for a while but that stupid plastic battery divider put me off - however, you won't find a DNA75 squonker cheaper elsewhere as even the Italian 3d printed boxes are £150) I love squonking for the flavour and just put up with the size of it as it's not overly inconvenient for me.
I suppose the killer for me with the yihi or pretty much any other mod is the format, rather than the absolute size-the 'baton' format is really st in suit trousers...

Loved my Billet Box - just the perfect size and shape. Unfortunately, the TC one is £400 including shipping and customs - plus you then need to buy adaptors from other vendors to fit decent rta heads.

Thought the Aspire Plato would be perfect, but the chip seems inconsistent and the atomisers are frankly crap designed for cheap st juice.

If the Therion is fairly slim (only a few mm wider than an 18650, and say 30% shorter than most, I can live with it being fairly wide.

If my commute were shorter I'd just drip on a kanger topbox or similar.

Actually, thinking about it - wasn't there a UK machined mod with TC where a normal tank atty was recessed into the body of the mod?
Therion is 90.5mm x 54mm x 27mm, SX Mini is 95 x 44 x 25mm. Not much in it.

I know the side by side mod your talking about but cannot remember the name for the life of me, like a gizmo but bigger. There's also the Xvostick which is dna40.

I'm trying to get hold of a Smok Alien kit but it seems to be out of stock literally everywhere!

Cheers Stevo.

Whilst the mod is only a little shorter, with a shallow rda instead of a tank on top the whole thing should be quite a bit more 'pocketable'...

If you do remember what that gizmo like mod I'd appreciate it.

Slightly off topic - see a few really like the Plato. I didn't get on with mine, so happy for someone to have it off me for a tenner plus postage...

Does anybody still use mech's? I had a look for my nautilus tanks & little clearout earlier (tons of st there I haven't seen in 2 years!!!) charged up some 18650's to have a quick Vape on my old Panzer & Manhattan mech's and they're just not doing it for me anymore. Used to love using these but I get a much better Vape out of my cheapo istick30 even at 20watts.

Maybe I'll try a low ohm build and see if it's any better.

No idea where the Nauts have gone banghead 20+ coils here and no tank to stick em in!!!!!

I have a Mac frown

My battery is lasting two days - but I'm at 14W and 1.5ohm. I know that's a bit pathetic, but it's how I like it. smile

It's a much nice mod to hold that the rather angular Smok I was using before. Thanks for positing it up originally.

No problem! Loving mine too

Nothing pathetic about it if it's keeping you off the cigs smile

It definitely is - from 2 packs a day to zero. I think I actually prefer vaping!

I do hope they are as safe as they claim. smile

As long as its keeping you off the cigs its fine. Im at 17W and 1.2ohm for well over a year now, I buy pre-made juice and coils and still save bundles of money. Nicotine in my juice is now down to 3mg.

Thinking about replacing my Xcube2 with something a bit smaller but still a dual 18650 for battery life

Any thoughts on the Smok R200? Looks a fair bit smaller yet will obviously be familiar. Also tempted to wait for the Smok Alien to be widely available but it's a fair bit more expensive

Also willing to consider other manufacturers

Decided on one of these last week to replace the Nebox I've had for nearly a year.

Only downside is the the built in battery...

Plenty of custard juice.

Utterly fed up with my Clieto, just cannot get the coils to last more than a couple of weeks.

Time for a new tank, what is everyone else who has a Pico running?

Using a TFV8 mini at the mo. Coils lasting around 2 weeks at 35W with fairly gunk free juice. I can live with that.
