Cool, you will find it does not sit flush on the battery but works fine. One tip, juice can accumulate in the top occasionally. You can pull the mouthpiece (often referred to a a drip tip) out, its just held in with an O ring and soak it up with a bit of tissue folded into a point and pushed down when the mouthpiece sits.

When refilling don't screw the base on too tight, they can be a bh to unscrew. I used to use needle nose pliers if it gets really stuck.
Thanks, I have the 5ml tank filled and it seems to be doing just fine for the moment but I shall definitely keep the above in mind.

Have to agree with Stevo, the thereon has been a lovely bit of kit - atty excepted (going to get a hadaly come payday).

Only a couple of niggles - the battery holder is bloody tight, and has wrecked the wrap on a couple of batteries, and the stupid little plastic divider thing really irritates!

Otherwise a superb bit of kit...
I've got a Hadaly clone on the slow boat, looking forward to it arriving as think it'll suit my vaping style.
Hadaly arrived today, was a right PITA to get a basic 24awg coil trapped under one of the clamps, took me three goes to get it trapped including getting my illuminated magnifier out t sort it! (poor eyesight on my part notwithstanding, it was trickier than it should have been but I'm used to velocity style decks)

Finally got a 3mmid 24awg ni80 build at 0.68 and it's going fine if a little crackly; squonks well so far and the quality of the clone is exceptional - I'd be hacked off if I'd paid £75 given the hour of frustration it caused to get up and running, mainly due to using slotted screwheads instead of Philips or Allen.

I've found it airier than I thought and have shut off two airholes which makes it perfect for me - I've only tried one juice through it but the flavour is excellent, really good and better than my Velocity v2 which I use out and about on a dripbox.
Sounds interesting, haven't bought anything from fasttech, assume that's where you got it from? A link would be handy!

Do you use any additional security precautions or is it just regular PayPal?

I'm still using the stock piece of crap that came with the thereon, it's doing my head in that it makes even snake oil taste bland and weak...

What's max wattage on your battery? Make sure you haven't burnt the coil out
I'll be honest, I'm a little confused with the electrical side of things. It's never been my strong point and I don't feel I'm getting a very good grasp on it. I've tried to research the maximum wattage but not really found anything that enlightened me. If it helps I am using an Aspire CF VV+ battery and the coils are 1.8 ohms (though I have read that the one supplied installed is a 1.6ohm)

From what I've read I think the coil is fine, it doesn't taste burnt and is performing well in terms of vapour. Is it worth cracking out a new coil and keeping the numbers low? Can i change a coil half way through a tank?

Sincerest apologies for all the questions but I feel I may have jumped in at the deep end hehe

All help is very much appreciated and I definitely owe a pint or two.
Its a long time since I used one but looked up the specs and the coils it uses are 1.6ohm (3.3v-5.0v) and 1.8ohm (3.3v-6.0v). The voltage shown gives you the optimum power range. The battery output is 3.3V-4.8V so you can't turn it up or below the suggested range of the coils, just have a twist and a vape, twist it again and see what suits you.

A coil should last you a week depending on usage. Its the age old how long does a pack of cigs last, depends how much you smoke. The coil is the same, constantly vaping then they don't last as long as not vaping as often. I vape very little these days just a couple of hours a night and with two tanks on the go I can get a month out of a coil.

This is the site I checked the stats. Its a bit pricey and wouldn't suggest you buy from here.

Tip for any new people. If you are trying a new device with new to you coils and not sure what power to use for the coil you have, look at the coil and it will be printed/engraved there.

Here is a 0.5ohm coil with a suggested wattage range of 15 to 60 watts. More advanced batteries/mods can switch between voltage and wattage modes.

Thanks. So I shouldn't need to worry too much about damaging coils then? The 2ml tank wasn't tasting fantastic so I've changed the coil, topped it up and am waiting of the juice to soak in. Will try again in 5.

The 5ml tank I tried once I had a slightly better idea of what I was doing. That one tastes fine, pulls well and makes good vapour so I think I got that one right, as it were.

Nope, just don't vape the tank dry before you refill it. There are little holes on the coil where the coil wicks the juice, don't let the juice get below those holes or the cotton will dry out and burn.

Happy vaping

Yes from Fasttech https://www.fasttech.com/p/6228800 add MAP at checkout for a couple of dollars off and select UK express shipping option at $1.71 - I didn't use MAP and it cost me £13.30 delivered and took 9 days from order and I used paypal. It's £25 in the UK for the same clone https://www.provapes.co.uk/products/hadaly

Still need to get used to it but the flavour and vapour are excellent for a single coil RDA and it doesn't need huge power either - 30-35w is enough for me. It's also a dinky wee thing which makes it look far better on my big bulky mod.

Overall, I'm more pleased with it now than when I first posted earlier, flavour is top notch and that is the most important thing to me. Buy one

As Cotty said, the Aspire Premium kit is pretty difficult to damage the coils by way of to much power, the batteries don't go that high relative to some mods! Just make sure not run it to low on juice and you are good to go thumbup

I'd also say pay attention to what juice you order, i personally wouldn't use anything with more than 50 vg in a nautilus as it gets a little bit too thick and doesn't soak the coil quick enough resulting in poor flavour imo. i used to get juice from here when i had mine https://www.theaceofvapez.com/collections/taov-liq... would reccomend yoda babies if you want alot of flavour is a bit sweet though. Basically stick to 10ml bottles as they tend to have the correct ratio.

I am vaping for 3,5 years now, am lucky to have found a simple combo and am not follwing trends.

An eleaf Istick with 30 watts and a Kanger Aero Tank 2 with 1,5 - 1,8 ohm coils.

My liquid of choice is "tobacco-flavored" but in reality does not have a very strong taste.

With 24mg it is giving me quite the hit I was used to when smoking,

I consume about 10ml a week.

Going to Santa Pod in easter and will be picking up my last delivery of 100 bottles,

after that I will get the aroma and do my own mix.

Come May, the maximum liquid strength will be 20mg, but more likely 18mg. Stock up on nicotine if you want to vape at higher strengths wink

Noticed the price of nicotine has been creeping up the last few weeks too.

Now who would have guessed that ? Might be a "moonshine" situaton in the future,

you got to know whom to trust to avoid dodgy and potential dangerous (health and law) deliveries ?

Thanks, I had read about that and was going to bear it in mind for my next order. Wasn't aware of it for the first lot but it seems I only have 10ml of the 70/30 stuff so no the end of the world.

I have put 100% vg through my nautilus with no issue. 79vg/30pg seems to be the norm.

Sorry, missed this before. I'm getting on fine with my 70/30 as it goes, it does well.

Cheeky update for those that are interested, my spare battery has arrived so I effectively have two vapes on the go.

Finding a little bit of inconsistency with them tbh. Both are working just fine and I'm 99% sure the coils are fine but I'm having to fiddle with settings a bit more than I expected to have to. It can be a little harsh at times (generally the first few puffs of the day but it soon sorts itself out, probably more me than the devices though).

On a positive note I haven't smoked a fag since Tuesday and am already feeling the benefits thumbup

Got another two bottles of juice to collect from the post office as I missed the delivery today so I'm interested to see how I get on with those.

On the whole really enjoying so far, going to get some beers on with the rugby tomorrow and see how I can cope with not smoking tobacco with alcohol smile

ETA: I'm definitely getting better results when they are kept upright when not in use. Is this normal or just a result of the coil partially drying out? I wouldn't have thought it would dry out that much?

Sounds a little bit like a dud coil coil Nur, for the sake of a couple of quid why not replace it?

That's the thing. Would a dud coil be intermittent?

Both tanks are absolutely fine at the moment, plenty of vapour and good flavour. No burnt taste or anything untoward.

I think it's more me getting used to it as once I've had a bit of a session it gets nice and smooth but starts off with more of throaty hit.

Fwiw, one tank (the 2ml) is 18mg and the 5ml is 12mg nicotine.
