Has anyone found cartomisers that fit the skycig?
I have loads of juice (thanks for the gimme15 code!) but the cartomisers from skycig are getting to the end of their days and I really dont want to buy more from them due to poor customer service!

Just got the Tornado - T from totally wicked and am wanting to know where to get the best liquid that gives great throat and smoke hit. The tobacco you get with the kit is ok but i like the tobacco gold that you get with the skycig. If anyone can help.

jurbie said: This is my brand. http://www.intellicig.comSimilar to Skycig but with fewer flavours but less faff charging the batteries; I've been on them and off fags for nearly a year so very happy with them. I've been on these since yesterday ... so far so good I was very sceptical of these things in general until I tried a friends and it was surprisingly good. I got the intellicig ones simply because it was the one I had tried and knew what it tasted like.

So I have now been a week not smoking, loving it
I love my little kit, the apple flavour seemed to improve which was good so I think maybe the clearomiser just needed priming if you will
Haven't really missed fags at all, there have been a couple of occasions where I pined for one but a quick blast sorted that, I have already noticed how much people stink when they smoke now, damn!!
I can see it becoming a little pricey but thats my own fault have just spent another £32 with Vape Escape, got 2 more clearomisers but as these are the V3's they are rebuildable so for a tenner I got a pack of 5 replacement atomisers, also got some easier bottles to use and then got a pick and mix selection of Griswalds juices
For those that aren't familiar I think this is quite a good little deal, £12.99 and you get to choose 5 flavours of which you get a 5ml bottle of each to try, cannot wait got some funky flavours coming

Eventually, you work out what kit and liquid works best for you and I now buy a carto a week (£2.50) and a couple of bottles of juice every now and then.

I still keep my ear to the ground (or try to) on anything new. I am now where you are, I know what works for me on a day to day basis. I am recycling cartomisers at the moment, rotating on about 9 of the blighters which has been going for about 10 weeks now. I'm still waiting for signs of them expiring, must be soon. Juice-wise I've been working my way through the 36mg stuff I initially bought, diluting it down with 50/50 PG/VG to about 18 mg strength but boosting the flavour with additives (sweetener, marlboro flavouring, caramel flavouring). I haven't spent a bean for weeks but I expect I'll have to order some new cartomisers soon though. AND I haven't smoked since the first bit of kit arrived on May 25th, thank you all, big time!

Thats a great achievement well done On the buying front I know its partly my fault, I do love a gadget and the gadgety geeky nature of this stuff appeals and makes me want to play, I know it will settle The added bonus is that the OH was so desperate for me to stop smoking even though she has clocked I am not actually saving any money right now, she doesnt care she is just chuffed I am not smoking

Hi all, Thanks to the people on this thread I've stopped smoking for the past week and by vaping I've not become Mr Angry or Mr Fat b d like I have on the numerous other occasions I've tried to stop. Currently using a SD2 with the standard set up but being a Pistonhead obviously want to upgrade, I am looking to order some low resistance atomisers but the site says they won't work very well with normal cartridges and require being dripfed? What do I need to get to enable this? It has a 901 fitting if that helps. The idea is to use the modded sd2 for the car and I've ordered some E-go xl batteries and cartomisers for a set-up stolen from Waspy to use indoors. Not really settled on a juice for daily vape, I got a pack of 10 5ml bottles of different flavours and strengths and they all taste ok but none really stand out as a favourite. I'm just pleased to be off the fags for now and hope to never go back . Thanks again everyone

Keyser Soze said: she doesnt care she is just chuffed I am not smoking Full credit to her and you... that's the nub of it, no more smoking. Thanks for the applause KS. FWIW my main weapon of mass reduction, in spite of all the kit I have so far acquired, is the SD Key Ring with what turns out to be about 18mg strength marlboro tobacco flavour. I was a marlboro lights puffer. I use the SD Key Ring mainly for stealth purposes at work but I have continued to use the same cartomisers during the evenings and at the weekend as I have found them to be minimal fuss for the amount of use. Mind you I do attach them to an EGO Mod with an 18650 batt for weekend use.

Thanks again everyone To use low resistance with the SD, either get LR901 atomisers and a 901/510 drip tip - liberty flights have those - or a short (NOT a "tank adapter") 901 to 510 adapter and an LR306 atomiser plus 306 drip tip (get a long one). I use both these set-ups.

I wonder whether any of you experienced vapers could recommend a kit for a friend of mine who solely wants to smoke occasional fruit flavours. They are not currently a smoker but had a few tokes on my cherry skycig and loved it so are looking for something similar that's zero nicotine. Ideally they'd prefer something easy like a skycig rather than decanting bottles etc but I'm having trouble sourcing something like that with nil nicotine.
Many thanks

Many thanks Shnozz - I am in a similar position to your friend. I want a e-cig to just draw menthol or similar, with no nicotine. However reading various articles online seem to think that the production control for the liquids is so bad that even the zero nicotine ones have a significant trace which is putting me off somewhat. I am looking for something I can take in the office - as well as winding up the 'office Nazis'

Vanya said: Cotty said: Still getting too much throat hit from 50/50 juice so just ordered some 100% VG juice from Liberty Flights. Sorry Cotty I don't remember if you said, what set up are you using, was it you with the visions and manual batt, i.e. no VV? Let us know what happens with the VG please. Thought I would have a break until I was more in the right frame of mind to continue This kit I have http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/vape-escape-vision-900...Im hitting this slightly differently. A lot of people don't realise that the amount of nicotine in gums, patches, inhilaters, spray, lozengers etc is so small compared to a cig that you can double them up. As I only smoke 2/3 cigs during the day I stuck on a 15mg patch. I don't want to be walking down the street vaping and it cuts out the 5:30pm urge for a cig. Once home 7pm I can have a tote on the E-cig if needed. The 100% VG juice is much better. First couple of drags I am still getting a heavy throat hit then it calms down to minimal throat hit and good vapour which is what I was looking for. Not huge flavour but im not really looking for much. One thing that has helped is cutting out the alcohol . Usually after a couple of beers I would say "sod it" couldn't be bothered and light up a real cig. Without the alcohol I just keep vaping. Over 48 hours now without a cig or beer and I have not dropped dead from withdrawal of either. Sorry for waffling

As I say, she would rather not do the whole decanting of liquids etc and liked the simplicity of the skycig style catridges. That said, given the lack of zero nicotine options I had been looking at the most simple stand alone set up I could fine and for some of this http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/to...

Whenever I have a beer session I select a juice with a lot of flavour, in my case I find Pink Spot's Blueberry Cobbler from Liberty Flights my juice of choice when drinking and I save my bottle for those occasions.
And I am pretty much constantly vaping while drinking....whatever it takes to keep me from the dark side.
