I am flying a 5' x 3' Union Jack with Royal Crest for the duration of the celebrations.
I will be flying the Knights Templar flag after that.

Drove through the villages of Pirbright and Worplesdon this morning, both looking suitably festive, the former especially so, all with home-made proper bunting from scraps of random cloth that looked better than el cheapo Union Flag patterns, as well as every house with a flagpole sporting a very large national flag, none of which appeared to be in distress.

Our street is having a street party today so the house has been decorated to celebrate. Home made crown and 60 stuck to the window with some paper chains, flags, bunting and balloons. Was great fun making everything with my 4 year old daughter.  Apologies for the rubbish iPhone photo.

Our streets all got England flags out, still at least now all the posh houses look rough too.

Most of it has been hung by businesses trying to cash in, and obviously it's just merchandise anyway; along with all the rest of the plastic union jack tat. You get the occasional house adorned in loads of it, which tbh just makes them look like they are the local BNP candidate, or mental. Also for the 30th day running showing a mother of 2 running through Nuneaton with the torch... well it just isn't news is it? They should have set up live streaming on the net and let the weirdos watch it for hours. Get it off the news!
