Hi.

Item arrived late, I left +ve feedback but stated the item took longer than stated to deliver in the feedback,

Now the seller is harassing me via the messaging system, I have reported to ebay, but expect nothing will be done.

Im not overly fussed, as a little bit of keyboard warrior grief isn't going to loose me any sleep, Im just mildly vexed that this prick can get away with slating me, for being honest about his shabby service.

If I have an email address (from the Paypal transaction), can I call on the investigative powers within PH to find out something about him and respond in kind, (but outside of the constraints of ebay)?

ie, signing him up to gay pron, catalogs, telesales. ect?

any idea?

Mod: no name or shame even in spoilers, cheers.

Gee, I dunno.

Maybe try ignoring him and he'll get bored and stop it?

Yeah you are probably right.

However, there are times when fighting fire with fire is satisfying, and after a few jars tonight it seems like a good idea.

Did you pay for the item quickly? Some has taken the full 7 days to pay me and I'm wondering whether to wait 7 days to post it hehe

Yip. Instant payment.

He said on the Thursday he would post after work, then the next I hear it arrived the following weds with a tues postmark.

I left good feedback about the item, just commented in the text that it took a while for delivery, so he starts some cockandbull story about post office being shut on Sat, and that I was probably unemployed so the fact that he couldn't get to a post office because he was working was good for me because he was working to pay taxes to keep me in benefits fags and scratchcards.

Granted, its a pretty good line. If it were true. I just take umbridge to his insinuating remarks.

'Be the bigger man' etc is a bit of a jaded term but for things like this it's really really true.

S/he is behaving like a spotty teenager who hasn't been told 'no' enough by their parents.

This in no way justifies you joining them.

Report if truly necessary, and move on.

It's spelled umbrage and he is not insinuating anything, he is saying what he wants to say very clearly.

Thank him and ask him if he could possibly work a little bit harder as you would like to claim some more benefits.

Or move on.

Ahem,

Yeah, maybe a little drunken last night. Still the general consensus is (apart from pedantic spelling police) leave it alone, which is what my less rum fueled head is telling me coffee.

Also, to top it off. Ebay have responded saying that they take this sort of thing seriously, and will be taking action (although they cant tell me what owing to seller security) against the seller.

Moving on now. and Mods, sorry for breaching naming and shaming rules.

Ebay's action is a stern email and putting his account in the "to be watched" category. More complaints, and his account gets locked.

If you want to be strategic, complain loudly after each email. He will get banned.
