Not the whole central heating, although I am tempted, but just a small oil filled one in my bedroom/office. It's fookin' damp and I am fookin' cold, Global Warming my arse (which it isn't).
In the evenings I'm watching Euro 2012 with my goose down winter jacket on. I bought it just before the winter after umming and arring for years as I thought that it never gets that cold in London but I seem to have worn it almost permanently since Nov 2011.
What the fek is going on?

It's nearly midsummer, obviously. The time for Cliff Richard to lead singalongs on a drenched centre court, for 19 year old girls to fall over in mud at festivals, for trips to the seaside spent eating chips in the car and watching the waves lash into the shore. Welcome to Britain.

What the fek is going on? Climate Change (for when the inevitable chilly spell comes around).

The really worrying thing is that in just over a week, the nights will start drawing in.

I'll be the first to admit I've had the central heating on over the past few days.

I am absolutely sure that this year is the first time in my 50 years that I have been tempted to put the main heating on. I did have it on for a bit in May then all of a sudden we could have done with fans and A/C. Madness I tell thee.
Normally it's heating on in Nov and off again before April although maybe the clue is in my age as us oldies feel the cold. Now where is me blanket?

The gulf stream has changed. That's what happens when you have a climate that's on the rocks.

About to leave the the tent and walk to the track, just checking I have everything, full waterproofs, suntan lotion and sunglases. People were getting sunburnt between the heavy showers.

I've had 2 fires lit in the past couple of days, never thought this would be necessary in June!

People were getting sunburnt between the heavy showers. It was like that the year before at Nottinghill Carnival. I left my house in shorts and a t shirt by the end of the day I was absolutely frozen and banging on a mate's door asking to borrow a jacket.
