I've had my Charge Ti since they were first released (thanks to my bro who works with the importer "Whitby").
I damaged the wire cutters whilst stupidly trying to cut a wire coat hanger, and then dulled the blade after trying some pretty useless sharpening stones. When I finally chipped the blade, I sent it back under their lifetime warranty, although I was prepared to contribute towards a repair as I'd abused it really but they sent a new one back FOC. In fact, when it became apparent I was getting a FOC replacement during the email exchange, I thought it fair to buy an extra piece - so I got the screwdriver extension which has actually been bloody useful.
I already had the extra bits.
And the case also plays host to my Fenix.

How do you go about having one of these in your car incase you get pulled over ?
It is simply a case of justifying it to the copper why you have it ie " i had to refit my number plate as it come off using the screw adapaer" kinda thing ?
Depends on how rural you are. I have a small leatherman in the car for attaching hoses and tweaking screws as they come undone. However if i clip or just down right punt an animal down the road with my bumper its quite useful for humanely dispatching them. I carry a Leatherman Wave in the nicer Nylon Case (which allows the tool to be stowed with the pliers open, and has two loops on either side for screwdrivers) and a LED Lenser T7 torch everywhere I go. Number of times having that one me has gotten me out the cack is untrue!
I also have a Leatherman Skeletool which I got for Christmas one year, but it serves only to replace the Wave when it goes for repair occasionally, though it has itself only just come back from having new pliers fitted, though I think they just sent me a new unit.
Having them both laser etched with my contact details soon though!

I had a skeletool CX, which was great, and really helpful on the farm, however when i was mucking out for another farm i dropped t and when I had relized, couldn't find it (probably had been flung out the back of a spreader...) now trying to convince myself that I need another one, despite having a small (legal) locking knife i got at the farm merchants for £1.89, and having another in the tractor along with a full toolkit.
/manmaths I supppooosseee it's a long walk to the tractor from the machine on the back //manmaths

get some pics up mate (of the Blast, not your bum fluff)
Sorry for the resurrection folks, especially as I'm going to ask about the heritics tool...
Does anyone have any experience with a Gerber Crucial? I had a skeletool CX that was indispensable around the farm, but since loosing it I need another, but the £90 tag of another CX is a bit much, and a cruical is the same things, but with better screwdrivers and half the price...
so any experiences? - also anther manstuff thread needs to be active

Ironically it has worked every time I have needed it as it is generally in the boot of the car and has dealt with many (very) minor problems. To be honest I love a dedicated knife, spike, driver etc as tools, and on boats I have always carried my old faithful Currey 4pc kit same as the one below:
The knife has about half the blade left as its super sharp, but not the greatest and admitedly I will be looking for a good serrated blade to replace it with soon. I love this kit and have a small sailing knife attached on a lanyard as well, it was my dads back in the day so certainly a Triggers broom of a tool.
So, browsing through Amazon for a new Skeletool CX (curse you all) I came acrosss this little gem.
£543 for a swiss army knife! Not exactly pocket sized is it?
