OK, just kidding! In fact just the opposite...let me explain. As you can see by my status, I am a new member however I have 'lurked' for a little while now. Before I signed up, I would occasionally frequent the forum and have a quick browse here and there, then leave - but now I have signed up, I spend a lot more time having a read...replying etc. It's obviously had an affect to the point where the mrs now says "Oh god, are you on that car forum again - what crazy ideas are you thinking of now?!!??!!??!!?" Since I have been a full member I have: - Turned the garage into a full on man-cave/workshop which resulted in me gutting it out, re-painting it all, installing new lights, buying a new toolchest, about £1000 of new tools and kit, a pressure washer, a hoover (Just for the car/garage)
- Told the mrs I am getting a V8
- Bought a load of new games for my Xbox 360 - resulting in my mrs being told to go upstairs to watch TV (We have an LCD in the bedroom!)
- Converted one of the rooms in the house to an office/second man cave
- Done loads of DIY to the house
- Bought a new shed
- Take photos of any dirty takeaways and breakfasts I have just so I can post it on here!
In short, I have become a man again! All hail PH!

I really shouldn't, but the only response that popped into my head after reading this was...
Go shag your wife

GTIR said: Everyone else has. I can tell you're a comedian. Obviously this thread was to introduce myself and show that I am enthusiastic however with the level of replies so far, I can see I shouldnt have bothered. If your going to start taking the piss by trying to come accross as 'being clever/witty' then I can assure you, you've failed. Oh well, such is life.

Pleases the Mrs upstairs, Does DIY, Plays Xbox, and take pictures of food, all at once. Sadly I'm not that talented! I've already posted some food pics! I'm sure I take a couple of pics when I got home of the garage/office/shed/games?!

Interesting one this. At a glimpse you seem normalish. BUt once you've finished reading your username and start looking at other stuff then I've seen saner people. Even leaving aside your profile picture of you trying to entice a dog into something physical and most likely illegal, everything about this is terrifiying. Assuming you are about 30, you've managed all this time without stuff, then you join a forum and you re-model your house and shun your girlfriend because someone on the internet told you to? Or is that your 'girlfriend' in your profile picture?

As above, you have to take the banter. It's like an online pub. There are the quiet ones, the bantering ones, the nobs who think they know everything, and the bearded/anoraky ones, with their pints of ale.
Before anyone says anything, I pretty much only drink ale.

Assuming you are about 30, you've managed all this time without stuff, then you join a forum and you re-model your house and shun your girlfriend because someone on the internet told you to? Or is that your 'girlfriend' in your profile picture? What an odd post. Firstly, thank you for judging me, I appreciate it. Secondly, the pic is of me and 1 of our 3 dogs, that's Skye trying to steal a chip from my mouth on brighton beach, we (My Fiancee and I) thought the picture was 'cute' - clearly you don't - not sure if that says something about you or me. Terrifiying? Do you scare easily or something? I'm 33 - yes ive managed without all this stuff because I've not been in a position to get it/have it before where as I am now - is that OK with you or should I go sit on the naughty step? Could you show me where I said I 'shunned' my Fiancee? For the most part she's helped me, we have a good relationship you see but thanks for once again, jumping the gun and assuming things. As for your last comments, I'm not even going to formulate a proper reply, it's a sad state of affairs when someone attempts to 'join in' and just gets slated, more so when the persons Fiancee is slated as well for seemingly no apparent reason. Yeah, good one PH.

Can anyone suggest ways in which the OP could combine these hobbies for the enjoyment of the PH audience ?
