"Our God's better than your God" Ironic isn't it when the US is an officially secular country that doesn't allow religion in public schools or buildings amongst other things. Perhaps the increase in christianity is also a reaction by some who perceive their president to be muslim?

Christianity in countries such as the US is showing no signs of disappearing in a hurry. If anything, it seems like it's going the other way, although part of me thinks that's just down to a couple of issues: - people thinking they have to be seen to 'believe in god' in order not to be seen as unusual - classic examples are people in the public eye such as politicians, sportsmen or military personnel, all of whom seem to reference God in any sort of interview; and - a reaction against things they don't understand and find threatening. Either way, it serves to reinforce the influence of 'christian' based religions in many states. absolutely. even in the uk a potential prime minister/party leadership candidate can't help fall over themselves to proclaim their religious leaning. first agnostic or atheist PM / president, now that would be fun.

Had a discussion at work as a colleague of mine is a muslim. I asked my boss would she be annoyed if I came to work with a hangover everyday for a month (Tired and groggy) and she said yes she would. I said it's practically the same. my other collegue said no it isn't because mine is self inflicted
I think if it affects your day to day performance you should take leave IMO.

I'm having a camerauptheharrisoscopy in a couple of hours.
I've not eaten for a day now, and I'm flopping round the house like a dying duck.
I shall eat in the style of Rick Walker with the munchies when I get home.
We have good gang at work, we cover their arses now, knowing full well they'll step up and cover us at Christmas.

Fair enough.) As someone who has devoted as much thought to spirituality as you probably have but come to a different conclusion I find it interesting how the two things can be included in the same thought, but then different conclusions from the same evidence is what makes the world interesting. And don't worry about weighing 11 tons. I weigh eleven teen tons and the old tractor can take it. Get your bike licence and discover a new aspect to life.

Do they have McDonalds in India, and if so, what's on the menu? You can't kill cows in India I believe, do they serve buffalo burgers or what? They do... I've been in one in Mumbai. http://www.mcdonaldsindia.com/menu.html
