Seeing as you are over that way, if the Jamaican bakery (D.Bess) is still open could you wing more than a few patties, fried dumplings and an entire marble cake over to China? You can't get Jamaican food over here for love nor money. I used to drive over the river to buy them by the box. Ta Oh and er, check for and redirect any breadcrumbs/m&m's/small markings leading from your property to the main road..

I was always East/South East London before I moved here, Acre Lane is my reference point for some reason. I drink in the Duke a bit.

You would need to drink a lot in there to take away the fact you live in Brixton and not cla'am... :P Supposed it could be worse, you could be being dragged to the beehive cause its showing the Celtic match... looks a right crap hole of an area and pub... could be proved wrong but location and google maps aint doing it any favours.

I don't fancy blurting out my address on a public forum but I can assure you that you'd be proven wrong The beehive is the wetherspoon in Brixton town centre isn't it?!

Stockwell... middle of several council estates near the tube station... I have some standards... Not this: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/34/347/Beeh...but this: http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/66427/but guessing how few have heard of it or know it exists (including beerintheevening website) my hopes for it are rock bottom.

I can't believe the West Spam thing wasn't repulsive enough that you got together. Tell her she's had a close shave.
