We had one of those as a raffle prize - one kid spent almost £20 on her own just to win it. Bargain!

Just a minor bump. Anyone done their Christmas food shopping at Costco? I joined the other week and haven't been yet. Considering popping in tomorrow morning to stock up if the quality is good.

I really like the meat there and for sheer portion size if you are having family over it cannot be beaten.

Tbh for me its like a giant playhouse I just love it. Big man toys and gadgets everywhere. Huge things you never knew you needed (I took a fancy to a kayak last time)

So if you haven't been go I reckon you'll spend £100 easy. It is handy having enough loo roll and kitchen roll for 3 months

Kirkland is the own brand stuff, have tried a few bits and been pleasantly surprised.

Was there this morning, not too bad!

Absolutely mental last Saturday tho frown

Bought the Turkey & Beef there a couple of weeks ago & threw them in the Freezer. Did a dry run with them a couple of weeks before to check the quality.

Cheers folks. Was thinking of getting in there early (half eight or so) and spending an hour stocking up on party food and christmas meat. Do they do good turkey crowns? I quite fancy a nice ham as well. Is it good for alcohol?

The booze I find is good. Wine is well priced, beer and spirits pretty good check for offers.

Was in the watford branch earlier today - it was very quiet.

Spent the obligatory £100 and waited less than 5 mins to pay.

yes

Highland Park 12 for £20 a bottle, and Lagavulin 16 for £35 the other day. Rude not to take advantage at that price. Johnny Walker Blue is much cheaper than RRP too, though hardly cheap.

And their toffee loaf and lemon drizzle cakes lick

Agree about the muffins though, they're more like a full size sponge cake topped with a tonne of frosting - can't say you don't get your moneys worth though smile

Just be careful of some items not on offer, especially in the booze & kitchen aisles as they can sometimes be cheaper in supermarkets, particularly when they have their special offers on

I'd like to see I got out of Costco having only spent £100! It's usually a lot more than that....

Ah, but did the total expenditure include a chicken bake on the way out?

Pizza slice and a coffee. I also have enough toilet rolls to last until September.

Me and the mrs got one a few years ago. Its a novelty I think.

We went a couple of times, mainly for dog food, drink, meat, fish and cheese.

Think we went about 3, perhaps 4 times.

That was that!
