Or if you are a broke student, like me, £30 hehe

Yes, they do have the VAT inclusive prices on display - just in smaller writing underneath the cheaper VAT free price frown

They do when you pay for it!

It is also in the main sticker below the main price.

What's wrong with being an impulse buyer? It's great. Costco feeds this habit nicely on occasion biggrin

Indeed. As primarily they are supposed to be supplying trade rather than end users, the ex VAT figure is what buyers are interested in.

I think they do show the inc VAT price, albeit in smaller print.

Yes they do, as mentioned twice above.

Alright sunshine!

My phone hadn't updated the thread with the two VAT responses when I started my reply (Took a phone call half way through typing my response)

My apologies for annoying you so much that you had to respond.

Have plenty of tea to hand - I found it very dry! The rest of their cakes are good though biggrin

As it is fairly local, I tend to use it as I do Tesco & pop in for whatever it is I need, rather than going mad and stocking up on loads of stuff.

It is bulk buying still, but as I'm going to use it - the cats will always need litter & food! I need washing powder & softner, olive oil, get through loads of cola etc - I'm saving as I only get what I have space for. I stock up on meat too, but that takes planning! I have the Tesco app on my phone & check prices whilst I'm in there (which can be useful) but I'm yet to find them cheaper for what I'm buying!!

Don't know about cat food, but a friend of mine who is a police dog trainer says that Costco is far and away the cheapest place to buy the quality stuff that he feeds his dogs - I suspect the same will probably apply to cat food.

Just remember that you will be buying in bulk - so make sure you have somewhere suitable at home to store stuff!

watch out that stuff looks bigger once you get to the car /home

costco has massive trolleys so the stuff looks lost in it then you get to the car and it doesnt all fit in

u.s spec parking spaces are nice too

Mmmmm cake. We're planning the Baby Alvarez's christening at the moment and I plan on getting a couple cakes from there for the after party. I'd love a quiet get together but Missus Alvarez is Jamaican and a quiet get together for her is about 300 people frown

The next big purchase is a deep freezer then I'm really going to go wild in Costco.

Be warned that they show prices ex VAT, and then an inc.VAT price underneath.

Just incase it hasn't been mentioned.

They don't have a huge selection, but it's cheaper that Tesco etc!

I get Felix pouches (box of 40) so it's not that bulky, they do Whiskers but only the fish (my cats don't like it!)

I get their dry from the Vet so not sure on that!

10kg of CatSan is @ £9 with VAT

TBH - When Tescos have their deals on (we use Felix Good as it Looks) they're usually cheaper than Costco.
