I’ve debated becoming a member a few times ... I used to have a Makro card but let it lapse
Been wondering if they sell the Royal Canin dog food cheaper than I can get it via amazon and then ebay
They don't sell Royal Canin. I tend to find the RC variety I buy is cheapest from fetch.co.uk. Been wondering if they sell the Royal Canin dog food cheaper than I can get it via amazon and then ebay
Their Mobil 1 was always a bargain and I used to have a car which liked to drink a bit.
Tyres are good if you like Michelin and one of their regular offers are on. I looked last week and they were £100 cheaper than anywhere else for 4.
Cakes are good as mentioned.
Lagavulin whisky is well priced there.

I have a executive member card not sure what benefits i get from it?
you pay an extra £30 p.a. membership fee and get 2% off all purchasesBeen a member for a few years but the Notts one is the wrong side of the city for us and the chavness is high, so hadn't been for ages. Noticed the Leicester one is just off the A46 (which I use a lot), discovered that if I'm heading past between 4-5pm the place is pretty much empty and as far as general shopping goes it's as good as it's going to get for me, so our card is getting used again and I can justify the cost.
They do have some random stuff though, picked up some cheap Levi's last time, half price!

I thought that was just the first introductory year of membership
I meant for the Exec membership - if it doesn't prove worthwhile you can drop back to standard membership at renewal and they give the difference back between the exec uplift and any bonus you're due. However I think you can get your standard membership back at any time if you want to leave. Same as applies to most things with Costco's satisfaction guarantee. I really want to try that on worn out tyres!

you pay an extra £30 p.a. membership fee and get 2% off all purchasesIn my line of work, the no hassle with white goods has been worth costco membership so much. providing they have had what we wanted (which as been 99% of the time) taking back a washing machine, dishwasher, or tumble dryer which we use often after they have stopped working is very handy. Over this year we had to take back a washing machine that was 4 years old and broken/stopped working. Go our money back and the similar item wass £50 less.
Yes not all electrical is cheaper and as per any place u buy from you need to keep your eyes open.
Had to replace our old TV with a 4K TV. was on offer and £80 cheaper than any place I could find.
It's not always going to be a place for everyone but we have made the most of Costco and found it invulnerable. We have a Bookers account so many food items are cheaper but not always the case
