I only buy when there is an offer on - either whiskers simply, or Felix sensations / As good as it looks - the offers are usually 3 boxes for £9 or two for £6.

We stock up then.

Dry food we use Iams usually, and again buy it when its on 3 for the price of 2.

My thread has arrived! I love Costco, I tend to buy all sorts of stuff from there. Having gone in the other day for some fillet steak, I ended up with a dyson air multiplier fan.

I've bought a dyson vacuum cleaner from there (the ghost buster style one), a couple of watches, a massage chair, bluray player, sunglasses, numerous tools and car stuff... along with loads of food I'll never eat, plenty of fresh meat and their bottled water is good value too.

I'd recommend: their sausages, a slice of pizza and their chicken nuggets on your first visit thumbup

They have never included VAT on their pricing....
They do when you pay for it!

It is also in the main sticker below the main price.

Chill out & don't get so stroppy!! This is PH, you will get told the same thing 100's of times by different people, just because you said it doesn't mean other's won't too!

We've even had this whole thread before, recently - ran to 30 odd pages IIRC, with the same conversations being repeated hehe

There is no anger or emotion involved. It seems like you have emotion behind your posts with your big eye rolling there.

They have good deals on oil, cleaning cloths and goodyear wiper blades!

I also find myself going around the food areas with the sole intention of looking for the most inappropriately large quantities of items you can buy eg 10kg of sardines, 5kg of salsa sauce, 1L bottles of lea & perrins that were on BOGOF and 1/2 price compared to 250mg @ tesco.

Also, they show the prices without VAT. So just keep your eyes peeled for that one.

Not sure if I clarified it but they do show the inc. VAT price underneath.

TBH - When Tescos have their deals on (we use Felix Good as it Looks) they're usually cheaper than Costco.
I tend to check before I go/have a shopping list running as I go round & compare. Very rarely do I find Tesco is cheaper for the Felix or Catsan smile Although sometimes I get confused by the VAT/Non VAT Prices when comparing between the 2 shops wink

But then, I'm in there at least once a month - it's 5 minutes away biggrin

I'm getting good at not impulse buying too biggrin

Hmmm sounds difficult to get ones head around - but you can confirm they do show the VAT inclusive price aswell?

I'm glad we're on the same page with that one, since no one else had mentioned it.

'VAT? What is it?'
'It's a thing they charge on top of the display price at Costco, but that's not important right now.'

What's the deal with the VAT? Do they display it or not?

They don't display the VAT.

Except for when they do.
