These bad boys. Ted Baker. Have a pair of dress brogues which have lasted really well so went for these. Very comfortable and appear to be quite rugged.

Had a pair of these a few years ago. Loake. Absolutely battered them to death in the winters. They only died after I fell into the sea off a rock twitting about. Stuck them in the boot of the car and forgot about them for a couple of weeks. Kernackered.

I can't make the image work. I've just bought yet another pair of Camper Peu cami this time in navy. I know they are abit 'hmmm' but I've worn Campers and El Naturalista's for a decade. In the last few years though their prices have gone from £50 (regularly in tkmaxx for peanuts) to £100+. Madness.

Hora why do you like them? Is it a comfort thing?

I have severe arthritis in both ankles, my footwear choice is all about comfort frown

Answers on a postcard. I just love the styling. When I first met mrsHora 20years ago she was wearing Birkenstock 'clogs'. I was smitten. Weird.

I also wear Altbergs Field and Fell Microlite by choice instead of standard boots, possibly the slippers if the boots world so maybe it is a subliminal comfort footwear thing.

Was about to buy some Adidas LA's but missed their 1 day sale on Wednesday. frown They'll be another chance soon. Bit ilke DFS at times!

But these "dropped" to use the Sneaker Heads terminology

Groundwork Safety Trainers £31 from eBay. biggrin

Bit stiff! I imagine they'll start to give after a week or 2.

I love how they are obviously inspired by Nike Flyknits. laugh

Just the kind I'd buy online, and not appreciate how 'speshal' they are until I see them in real life.

Not sure about the colours, but I really want a pair of Air Max - always seem stupidly expensive, though.

I've seen loads of Air Max 90s for about £40-50. Are you looking for a particular model?

That's a good price *if* they're geniune.

I used to sell them back in the day, but I don't know if I could remember how to tell a genuine pair from a good fake these days. Used to be expert in knowing the way to spot fakes back then... was essential knowledge as there was a thing for buying real ones and bringing fakes back for refunds. (The perils of flogging trainers from a sports shop in the Manchester Arndale in the early to mid 90s!)

They were visible on the app for a good five minutes before the launch date. I had them in my basket and the app refused to acknowledge my postcode. I know my postcode. It's impressive they managed to botch the same damn release twice.

Going by Twitter the Athen were appearing on the app from 8.30; even then they were 'sold out'. I'd be fairly surprised if the Keglers dropped in price but it's not impossible. From what I've seen a lot of the GTX releases tend to hold value, but I must highlight that I haven't looked too closely for any. My consolation prize is shaping up to be another pair of Milano.

I was on the app refreshing at 7.45am onwards and then looked on Facebook on my work phone and saw the release had been pushed back til 9am. Stupidly I waited until 8.50am before I started trying again, and I genuinely thought I’d bagged a pair but it wasn’t to be. Saw that they were already up on eBay before they’d been released by Size? For £164.99, fk paying that!

yes Similar story at my end. Refreshing the app constantly, switching between it and Reddit until about 8.05. Plenty of ones on Twitter implying that extra hour was spent shifting pairs out the back door...
