No, no you're right. Those bright red trainers would go far better with your Ferrari shirts and skinny jeans. wobble

I don't wear Chuck Taylors at work... what kind of idiot would do that!

And I don't wear branded shirts outside of work...

Maybe we're just a bit more relaxed at work - no suits, no blazers, no ties. Non-garish dark trainers go unnoticed.

Outside of work, unless there's a dress code, you'd have to hold a gun to my head to get me into a nice pair of sensible brogues.

I really should get myself some retro Pumas. Maybe a pair of States, as I wear Ferrari branded shirts and jackets with skinny / slim fit trousers. I reckon States would straddle the perfect boundary between formal and casual.

Probably more professional and casual.

I work in a very relaxed environment, can't remember the last time any of my customers even wore a tie for a meeting.

Maybe I'll get some of those rainbow coloured Air Max just because I can smile

New pair of work shoes today.. Loake Paisley.. 50 quid in the sale down from 155 smile

Wow, where did you find those?
Cottons, my local shoe shop in Oundle.. They have a great sale a couple of times a year. The Paisley's were the best reduction but they had a couple other Loake's down to 85 pounds.. They have almost none of their stock on the website but the 85 pound Loakes are there..

Long an Old Leodensian now, I dropped geography before GCSE/O-level stage, but I did enough to know that neither of those shoes are suitable for proper delivery of geographical education, even in a relatively formal setting with gowned masters.

What I used to call Cornish pasty shoes will be forever etched in my mind as THE geography shoes.

I've seen far worse than those brown/suede brogues. I'd wear them as a casual/summer shoe. Not for work obviously.

I always wear some kind of leather shoe/boot for casual wear. What should I be wearing?
Adidas......... if you feel it's a step too far then go for the collaboration they did with Church's London, also come with brown laces and also come in navy

Now they look like they'd be ideal for driving in. As long as you had some proper brogues to put on as soon as you got out of the car laugh
