They do look a bit travolta esque in the flesh and look very easy to ruin but at half price i'm not complaining.

I'm not surprised. They are quite....erm... eye catching.

What's the quality like? Never bought r&b before.I've got some of those in brown calf.
Criticism of the R&B shoes I've had generally: I tend to find that the insoles can be a bit flimsy and if you buy mail order there's a good chance the shoes will have a blemish. I have sent plenty back to them.
Jermyns particularly - I can feel the sole stitching under my big toe on the right foot. A small niggle but there you go. Leather is good and comfy though.
In summary I like R&B because they have nice designs and are good for a shoe to wear for a season and throw away. I find that their loafers are about £200 against Gucci's £400-£450 and I am wondering whether the Guccis are actually better value. They last longer and when they are worn out some fashionista desperado will buy them from you on Ebay for £100+ just because they are Gucci. Though outside of the loafers, Gucci designs can be rather "out there" and it's easy to look like a pimp.

May have to pop in and take a look. The biscuit coloured boots above are from Reiss and the quality is very good. /waits for sole to fall off next week.
Reiss is a funny brand. I shop there occasionally but some of their clothes are just odd. I do buy their socks though which are particularly good.Studio117 said:
