I can't believe anyone could get upset by someone else's choice of footwear.
This place cracks me up sometimes.

I am a jeans and trainers/boots (biker or combat type) person. I only wear shoes (i.e. a brogues) if I am required to rather than out of choice becuase I just find them dull. I'd rather wear a bright pink pair of converse than a pair of brogues. I am 30.

I have a few pairs of brogues as well as some bright pink converse.
The brogues aren't ideal for T in the Park, the pink converse aren't great for the office.
Depends on the office I suppose but generally I'd agree with that. Though office dress for me falls under the required to wear rather than wanting to The brogues aren't ideal for T in the Park, the pink converse aren't great for the office.
I have 1 Pair of loafers (office) and a pair of dress shoes to go with my suit, the rest of my footwear falls into the boots/trainers catagory. I'd probably have another 10 pairs of converse in varous colours but thats money better put towards a new par of drag radials for next season
